Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

Chapter 412: Chapter 35 Sequence Member-Ranking Battle_3

But the more Wen Yu looked at it, the more confused he became.

It would have been better if the Dominator hadn’t mentioned this. Now that the Dominator had included this information in the manual, those hidden powerful experts would definitely have to consider if risking being hunted for the empty prestige of a top-ten sequence rank was worth it.

Maybe the Dominator has some other plan? Wen Yu’s thoughts began to race.

At the end of the manual, the Dominator provided a list of sequence numbers.

All the Sequence-class powerful experts appeared on the list.

”Sequence Number 1: Tang Haofei, Middle Stage Level 5 strength!”

”Sequence Number 2, Wen Yu, Peak Level 5 strength!”

”Sequence Number 3, Kasu, Middle Stage Level 5 strength!”

”Sequence Number 4, Qin Min, Early Stage Level 5 strength!”

”Sequence Number 5, Akad, Early Stage Level 5 strength!”

...

The top eight in the sequence all possessed Level 5 strength, and Wen Yu’s Peak Level 5 strength was undoubtedly conspicuous.

Wen Yu curled his lips. With this list, powerful experts without sequence numbers could directly perceive the majesty of the powerful experts standing at the pinnacle of the Human Race. Furthermore, the professionists ranked from Sequence Number 91 to Sequence Number 100 all possessed Middle Stage Level 4 strength.

This level wasn’t particularly high. Revealing it would, on the contrary, give those hidden powerful experts more confidence to contend for a sequence title.

It was foreseeable that the competition for these sequence numbers would be exceptionally fierce!

Moreover, once this Sequence Member-Ranking Battle concluded, the inflated nature of the sequence rankings would inevitably be significantly reduced. Simultaneously, the sequence numbers could also, to some extent, reflect the actual power differences among the members of the Human Race Sequence.

Slowly closing the manual, Wen Yu’s gaze grew increasingly profound as he began to formulate his plan.

I’m very satisfied with being Sequence Number 2... This treasure land won’t offer any extra rewards this time; it’s just a simple sequence ranking. Why the military and Sequence Number 1 would open this treasure land, I have no idea. However, facing Sequence Number 1—a divine beast species with three foundations—I really don’t want to waste energy competing with such a monster for an empty title. Perhaps I should even deliberately let my sequence number drop a bit? That way, I’d have an easier time during the Demon Hunting Group’s hunting operations.

As this thought crossed Wen Yu’s mind, another idea suddenly surfaced... Could it be that Sequence Number 1 and Lin Haifeng opened this treasure land... precisely because they thought the same way...?

Just as Wen Yu was occupied with his thoughts in his room, Yang Hong began to take action.

First, he knocked on the door of Sequence Number 100, went in, and sat for a while. After some time, Yang Hong emerged with a calm expression and then proceeded to knock on the door of Sequence Number 99...

This was the result of Wen Yu and Yang Hong’s discussion—Yang Hong would act as a highly sociable professionist, initially contacting the various sequence members to discern who among them belonged to the military.

It was a crude method.

Unfortunately, before entering the treasure land for the Sequence Member-Ranking Battle, they truly couldn’t devise a better plan.

After Yang Hong finished his conversation with Sequence Number 96, he didn’t knock on any other sequence members’ doors. Instead, he walked directly towards the deeper end of the corridor.

It didn’t take long for Yang Hong to reach the far end of the corridor.

Seeing the doorplate inscribed with ’2’, Yang Hong knocked directly.

KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK.

The knocking resounded melodiously through the empty corridor, lending a touch of vitality to the silence.

Suddenly, a voice came from beside Yang Hong.
