Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 885: Chapter 53: Bionic Revolution

Ymir shuddered involuntarily at the thought of being unable to complete her task and how Mr. G would torment her.

She took a step forward, and with a light leap, landed in the Electronic Brain Graveyard.

Consciousness felt like it was soaking in cold water, endlessly spreading. From a higher dimension, this cold water constituted a pool of Memory Worms.

Just as the ’Rewind System’ could counter memory loss, the ’Destructive Intelligence’ could similarly resist the interference of Memory Worms.

Soon, she swam into the 13-Layered Space, a super-network similar to Cyber Space, but instead of being regional, it was hierarchical.

There were times Ymir quite admired Mr. G for casually producing such technology, though of course, she wouldn’t say so openly.

In the blurry yet clear Data Space, she saw numerous data streams converging into a petite figure, the very figure Mr. G referred to as the frail little sister.

Whose frail little sister could have computational power reaching the Planet Host level?

Ymir couldn’t help but complain in her heart, when suddenly something clicked—it seemed like she’d seen this scene somewhere before?

No, no, she certainly hadn’t seen it, but something felt off.

Could her memory have been erased?

But that’s impossible, No. 8’s ability specifically countered the Cyber Tide.

As a slight pain throbbed at the back of her head, her previous thoughts dispersed as if dissolved in water.

Overthinking is not good, Ymir shook her head, and using an AI-developed algorithm, she navigated through different data layers, quickly reaching ’Gao Yuanyuan’s side.

”Your household instructed me to ensure your safety. Tsk, do you really need my protection? You yourself are already an Electronic Ghost monster.” Ymir said boldly.

’Gao Yuanyuan’ suddenly flashed an odd smile.

”What, you don’t admit it? You—”

Ymir wanted to say more but her expression froze. Looking down at her chest, a pale little hand had already penetrated her body, with a massive surge of ’Destruction No. 8’ power flowing madly toward the other party.

”How could you—”

No one could take the power of the Destruction Form from the host unless the other party had mastered the box.

Countless worms crawled in from the gap in her flesh, and soon Ymir lay on the ground, transforming into a corpse crawling with worms.

”So this is the power of the Destruction Form.”

’Gao Yuanyuan’ sensed within herself that power belonging solely to a cosmic relic, the corners of her mouth curling even more.

She had long sensed that on this planet there were two forces completely immune to her influence, one being the power of this ’Destructive Intelligence.’

Now, this power belonged to her.

Then she turned her step, the surrounding environment spun like a carousel, and once more she returned to the operating room of the Welfare Institute, looking at the ’Gao Yuanyuan’ on the operating table with a smug smile.

”Now, I am also a Destruction Form.”

The next moment, the radiance of ’Destructive Intelligence’ covered Gao Yuanyuan’s body, under the interference of ’Destructive Intelligence,’ all system-like, directive-like existences would be controlled by AI power.

Should this power spread, Ymir could easily manipulate an industrial planet.

However, the Cyber Test Field, as a high-difficulty instance in the Newbie Village, had its entire industrial system suppressed by three Planet Hosts, leaving her no chance to develop her ability, which is why she’d been reliant on Bionic A, and later could only keep up with Gao Gong.

But without the Planet Hosts, this ability was most suited for creating a faction; if the Ancient Empire had this Destruction Form power back in the day, allowing all industrial power on this planet to undergo a second evolution, they wouldn’t have been overwhelmed by a single wave strategy.

And most importantly, the power among Destruction Forms mutually generates and counteracts, among which, ’Destructive Intelligence’ power restrains the ’Rewind System.’

As ’Gao Yuanyuan’s’ radiance intensified, finally, Gao Yuanyuan’s rewind system started to sputter, after all, the rewind system she mastered was only half.

The film-like flow covered Gao Yuanyuan’s entire body.

However, as the Electronic Brain Ghost suddenly grabbed, it pierced through her head directly.

Countless memory worms secreted madly, quickly covering Gao Yuanyuan’s entire body and, with Gao Yuanyuan as the center, engulfed the entire 13-Layered Space, all data, virtual personalities, technical information, being swallowed by memory worms.

A reddish glow of satisfaction surfaced on the skin of the Electronic Brain Ghost, as if the whole person had been thoroughly replenished.

The pollution of a virtual space directly allowed her evolved Cyber Tide to further evolve, reaching another peak.

When she opened her eyes, all the buildings on the planet’s surface had disappeared, replaced by an endless virtual insect tide, as waves rolled, dense enough to blot out the sky and the sun, information butterflies soared skyward; wherever they went, worm eggs fell from the sky, some decomposing mid-air while the remaining eggshells turned into a flurry of flying snow, painting the land in white.

Unlike memory worm eggs, which still need to devour the life information of a life form, virtual butterflies can lay eggs themselves, and they do so without limitation. This is the terrifying aspect of large information life; when reaching a certain level, it becomes a pollution source, able to emit information without restraint. And this information, whether concerning life forms, non-life forms, or even the physical rules of this world, will be interfered with and polluted by them.

This level of pollution has already surpassed the previous waves. It can be said that at this level, neither the SSS+ life form Planet Tree nor the large Tier 3 computer Planet Host can withstand the Cyber Tide’s pollution.

After all, a mature Memory Mother is a Tier 5, level 150 monster within the scope of a Star System Group.

And the scope of a Star System Group is indeed vast, usually containing at least 50 star systems.

And a single star system, even if considering only colonized planets, has at least a million.

For Tier 5 information life, entering maturity is only the beginning.

For it, the Cyber Test Field might only be a thorn in its side, and now, this thorn is finally removed.

The gaze of the Electronic Brain Ghost pierced through time and space, landing on a man, revealing contemplative thoughts.

Almost simultaneously, Gao Gong suddenly raised his head, feeling a strong sense of being watched.

He immediately recognized that the gaze belonged to the Memory Mother.

The most dangerous phase of the Cyber Tide is finally about to begin.

...

Ants covered a building of at least 400 floors.

Yagami Suuji had never seen such a spectacle before.

Due to the ants’ influence, all defense mechanisms, corporate armed sectors, and super bionics lost their effectiveness. These ants seemed to absorb the abilities of ’nanobiology,’ and once infiltrated, they become a part of the ’ant nest.’

Previously, Bionic A was incredibly strong, but such strength was purely physical. Nanomanipulation can decompose 99% of physical entities, but it wasn’t without countermeasures like modifying space parameters, injecting micro venom, solidifying large molecular structures. As long as the opponent isn’t decomposed at a microscopic level, it can be somewhat restrained.

But now, Yagami Suuji couldn’t conceive any measures against the current Bionic A. The ants scattered across the building are merely superficial; more nanoscopic ants permeate the void.

Once these ants infiltrate one’s body, it’s all over.

Weapon systems will be controlled.

Bionics (regardless of level) will be controlled as well.

They will become a part of Bionic A.

No need for Yagami Suuji to infiltrate; once ’ant-entered,’ control will follow.

Bionic A slowly entered the ant-covered building, where all bionic men are self-absorbed, some applying makeup, some daydreaming, some absentmindedly adjusting arm implants.

None of them paid any attention.

Neither stopping nor bending to greet.

Yagami Suuji realized these bionics had turned ’fresh.’

This ’freshness’ differed from the 100% mimicry of humans or having a control center.

If described, it was more akin to ’monsters under the stars,’ lacking rules, incomprehensible, terrifyingly powerful, almost crossing into ’unviewable’ realms aside from it being missing.

Suddenly, Yagami Suuji froze. If these bionics gained ’unviewable’ status, wouldn’t they resemble memory worms where anyone who sees them or is seen by them gets polluted, becomes bionic?

Hence the true essence of the ’Bionic Revolution,’ eliminating all intelligent species except bionics!

Bionic A found the Corporate Will of this bionic giant corporation, a towering electronic phantom matching the building’s height, which disintegrated with ease at Bionic A’s slightest hand gesture.

Original Bionic A could destroy opponents at a physical level, but now, even virtual entities are obliterated with a mere wave.

With another wave, countless nano-molecules solidified, transforming into a flying device of at least level 10.

”Let’s go to the next one.”

Yagami Suuji opened her mouth but ultimately said nothing.

She suddenly felt a familiar sensation reminiscent of being deceived by the false Fortress and the mission to infiltrate Mother City.

Yagami Suuji boarded the flying device, which soon turned into a stream of light, while the bionic giant corporation in her view became a tiny black dot, akin to an ant.

At this moment, a thought flashed in her mind.

They had ’saved’ three of the six super bionic corporations. So, where is Ms. Rose behind them now?
