Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 851: Chapter 19: Speculation

Inside an underground factory.

In fact, in the Cyber Test Field, any super corporation would have its own underground factory, either for conducting certain inhumane experiments or for producing products that cannot see the light of day.

But very few corporations put their main business in underground factories.

However, the main business of the members of the Skull Society is essentially conducted in underground factories, with research projects that even the Mother City cannot tolerate, such as the ”Death God Plan,” ”Ocean Planet Plan,” ”Brainware Puppet Plan.”

Either studying how to destroy humanity or how to destroy the planet.

And the rejuvenation technology researched at the Fairy Tale Toy Land is intricately linked to the ”Death God Plan.”

At this moment, in the core of the underground factory, in front of a giant Death God statue, blood was furiously gushing from the statue’s eyes and gushing into a pool.

A black ephemeral world appeared, with live people caught by silk threads suspended in mid-air.

Fairy Tale Toy Land doesn’t sell toys; it sells the Death’s scythe, and the buyers are the toys.

At this moment, the Death’s scythe was raised high, slowly cutting down, and every time it fell, a thousand silk threads would be severed, and a large number of living people would fall, turning into dead people.

The blood in the pool grew denser, faintly forming a human shape.

Several figures appeared by the edge of the blood pool, all members of the Skull Society: Mas Sharpness, Deep Sea Biotechnology, Black Realm, Soul Recognition, and Metal Slug.

Among them, the most recognizable was undoubtedly Boss Ma.

At this moment, Boss Ma had completely changed appearance; his skin was entirely removed, his flesh completely exposed, with black line worms subtly swimming within the flesh clinging to the skin. These black line worms were exactly like the ”snake worms” Gao Gong encountered.

Within his metal skeleton, five hearts were beating, each as large as a fist-sized worm egg, completely occupying his heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys.

As for his back, it was filled with various biological chips, many of which even Du Gao Technology hadn’t developed, such as the biological chip of an A-level Radiation Beast.

As for the others, their transformation was no less than Boss Ma’s, even more exaggerated in some respects.

”The plan has failed.”

”We underestimated the continental annihilation-level power.”

”No, rather than saying we underestimated Mr. G’s power, it’s more accurate to say we underestimated the technology that created such power. This kind of technology is certainly not just for destruction.”

”What do we do now?”

”Let’s wait a bit longer to see if Bandai can recover. This old fellow among us is the most deeply hidden. If he can’t recover...”

They all fell silent, silently watching the Death God reaping souls, rejuvenating; rejuvenation for the clients, rejuvenation for the merchants.

Yet, no matter how much life force was extracted, the human form in the blood pool never recovered, even gradually withering.

Then, the human form in the blood pool slowly opened its mouth, Bandai’s voice emerged—

”It seems I am dying.”

”This is a failed plan, and the core reason for the failure is none other than what we pride ourselves on, namely, the reckless, unrestricted pursuit of technological fruits.”

”We assumed that there is no one crazier than us in this world, but the fact proves there is. That Mr. G is even crazier than us as a technology madman.”

”I have studied Du Gao Technology’s development; they are not that aggressive,” Boss Ma said.

”The reason for their lack of aggression is not that their technology isn’t advanced enough, but because every piece of technology they release is a mature scheme. To us, this might seem incredible; forbidden transformation without sacrifice.” Another person mused.

”The forbidden transformation of Level 2 Civilization might be ordinary technology in a Level 3 Civilization, and the forbidden transformation of Level 3 Civilization might even be a backup plan in an Ascension Civilization.”

”Considering Mr. G’s background, perhaps he is a visitor from a higher civilization, reborn in this realm.”

”Well, my time is short. Failure requires a price; this is my choice,” the voice of the human figure in the blood pool weakened.

”Then, as per our agreement, feed me to the Death God to awaken the true owner of the Fairy Tale Toy Land.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Bandai’s blood shadow slowly dissipated, and in the blood pool, numerous worms formed, frantically devouring the blood pool.

Soon, the blood pool became a sewage pool.

”Bandai is truly dead, not a trace of life force left.”

”Should we continue with the plan to deal with Mr. G?”

”Now it’s unlikely we can solve it. We should first strengthen ourselves. Even if Mr. G’s transformation technology is strong, at least there’s one thing he can’t match us in. We have the assistance of the Cyber Tide.”

”But if we can’t complete the ’will’s’ command, will the Cyber Tide continue to assist us?”

”Based on our research of the Cyber Tide, as long as it continues to evolve, new will can be born. The new will isn’t necessarily the same as the old one.”

”So, should we quickly satisfy the needs of the Cyber Tide and let the wave update and evolve?”

”There’s even a possibility that we, ourselves, could become the embodiment of the Cyber Tide’s will.”

Just as Boss Ma was about to say something, a subtle expression appeared on the face of the flesh face.

”The ’Personality Reset’ is complete.”

...

And in the virtual realm created by Gao Yuanyuan, Gao Yuanyuan was slowly inserting Brother Cheng’s Sword into the darkness.

The darkness expanded rapidly, and even the Tier 3 Star Code on Gao Yuanyuan’s body was affected, starting to dim.

Fortunately, as the current ’Mother of Data,’ as long as she wished, the data on her body was endless. Finally, Brother Cheng’s Sword completely merged with the Memory Mother, becoming part of the Memory Mother.

A black star suddenly appeared within the darkness.

’Brother said the growth trajectory of the Memory Worm is divided into the Unconscious Stage, Conscious Stage, Feeding Stage, Growth Stage, and Butterfly Stage. Once it enters the Feeding Stage from the Conscious Stage, it means the Memory Worm requires more and more ’food,’ and the wave it causes will become more intense.’

Gao Yuanyuan couldn’t help but show a hint of worry in her eyes.

Because just transitioning from the Unconscious Stage to the Conscious Stage, she had consumed the ’Virtual Personality of Arasaka Tower,’ ’Brother Cheng’s Spinal Cord Sword,’ and all the ’Cyber Killers’ from Paradise Bird’s side.

’Perhaps only after Sister Hee completes the sacrifice of the Cyber Killer, can it fully transition from the Conscious Stage to the Feeding Stage.’

’Brother said, the essence of the Cyber Wave is actually the shell-breaking process of the Memory Mother. The more food, the faster the shell-breaking process, and the smaller the damage. If handled properly, the Cyber Tide can even be ended in a relatively short time.’

’However, once it fully enters the Feeding Stage, the consumption of the Memory Mother is ten times the normal state. At that time, the real tide will come.’

According to Gao Gong’s plan, once it enters the Feeding Stage, the feeding work will mainly be his responsibility.

And Gao Yuanyuan could hardly imagine what could satisfy its tenfold hunger.

...

Meanwhile, Paradise Bird silently watched these cyber assassins crawling with memory worms.

’What I’m doing now is probably what every hacker on this planet wants to do, but can’t achieve.’

Killing every cyber assassin and hacking into the planet host, this is probably the ultimate dream of all Cyber Hackers.

And now, this dream was achieved with unexpected ease.

”Eh?”

Among the endless cyber assassins, Paradise Bird suddenly saw a familiar string of code.

”What’s this?”

With a thought, endless flames covered all the cyber assassins.

Although all the cyber assassins entered a crashed state, it didn’t mean they wouldn’t auto-counterattack. For a time, the self-transformation of the Black Wing Killer, the extermination of the Red Wing Killer, the real-world invasion of the Silver Winged Killer, and the data evolution of the Cloud Wing Assassin, all surged towards her like a tide. Luckily, this was just the defense instinct of the cyber assassins, and their attack methods were only one-tenth of their normal state.

Paradise Bird gritted her teeth while defending and dived madly, until she reached the edge of the Information Ocean, where she saw a girl transformed from that string of code.

”You are...”

Seeing the girl’s face, Paradise Bird’s eyes glazed over, as if seeing Terria, the former world’s number one masked hacker.

”Who are you?” the girl asked warily.

”So, Terria’s plan succeeded?”

Paradise Bird murmured. If not, it’s hard to explain why a girl who looks so much like Terria appeared inside the Mother City’s firewall.

And at the core of the planet host, two massive wills also watched this scene.

”Is it your doing, isn’t it?”

”Guess.”

”Turing No. 3 is the only Destruction Form without humanity, pure divinity, making it a perfect existence. You revived her sister by fulfilling ’Terria’s last wish,’ aiming to give this Turing God a hint of humanity. What are you plotting?”

The mysterious girl flashed a sly smile, swinging her feet.

”Want to know? Go ask the Fortress, he knows very well.”

”You’re working with the Fortress?” the Deep Net frowned. ”I let you out for temporary freedom, not to cause trouble.”

”Want to make a bet? Guess which Fortress I’m collaborating with. If you guess right, I’ll merge with you, but if you guess wrong, you merge with me. How’s that?”
