Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 864: Chapter 32: Fortress Falls (Part 2)

Yagami Suuji quietly followed behind the ’Fortress,’ watching him step by step walk into the depths of the flame, where the true core of the Planet Host lay.

She wanted to do something, but whenever she had this thought, the Personality Mask felt like a red-hot nail, turning her intentions back.

Keeping her Consciousness was a form of torment.

Yagami Suuji painfully recalled the scenes of the United Squad.

What was supposed to be a special operation to save the planet’s order in the end became the last straw that broke the Cyber Test Field.

Every thought of this made Yagami Suuji feel her head might explode.

Being conscious was the most terrifying torment.

Finally, as the last flame slowly opened, the Fortress, Joker, Zero reached the ’True Fortress.’

Similar to the Mother City Fortress.

The only difference was that the whole planet was reflected on the ground.

There was also an additional sun in the sky, its bright sunlight shining on the entire planet.

”Speaking of which, when we arrived here, did the real Fortress notice us? Will his eyes pop out in surprise?” Clown Aramaki curiously asked.

The ’Fortress’ suddenly turned back, and on his faceless face, there was a hint of sharpness.

”I am the only Fortress!”

Clown Aramaki was stunned, let out a few strange laughs, and directly gave a bow, loudly saying: ”You are the true Fortress!”

Where the ’Fortress’ gazed, all the buildings on the ground rose, and a large amount of planetary data was absorbed into the buildings.

These materials from the Cyber Test Field, in the Cosmic Black Market, would be incredibly valuable, some civilizations would pay a huge price to purchase them.

The ’Fortress’ grabbed again, and the planet-protecting Planet Firewall, Colorless Flame also gathered from all around, burning him like a man of fire.

Countless faces rose and fell within the flame, then all melted away.

The ’Fortress’s’ Aura suddenly surged to unimaginable levels.

”Tsk tsk, absorbing the Source Code of the Cyber Space, so good.”

Clown Aramaki dared not speak recklessly anymore, his eyes merely looked enviously at him, absorbing the Planet Host from Cyber Space could even break through Tier 3, reaching Tier 4, or even Tier 5. What height it could reach depended on whether a civilization was willing to let him build a Virtual Realm.

’Perhaps this old man wants to create his own Virtual Civilization.’

Clown Aramaki had heard that in the cosmos, many strong men arose from the advanced civilization’s Cyber Test Field.

The one right in front, if given the opportunity, could certainly rise among them.

The ’Fortress’ obtained the test data from the Test Field, controlled the Colorless Fire, absorbed the Source Code from Cyber Space, and his Aura soared to a new level.

And throughout the process, the real Fortress never appeared.

Clown Aramaki paused, raised his head to look at the sky, somewhat in disbelief.

”Hey, big guy, just asking quietly, is anyone coming?”

”Yes.”

”That’s good,” Clown Aramaki sighed in relief.

”But not the one you imagined.”

The ’Fortress Elder’ casually swiped his finger, and the next moment, the ground cracked open, various virtual illusions collapsed, countless people on Mechanical Split Star perished, even the tunnel connecting the Planet Host with Virtual Reality, the seemingly old passageway, was in collapse.

With the collapse of the tunnel, two Human Forms stood at the entrance, silently watching the earth-shattering scene.

”This is Tier 4, no, it’s already approaching Tier 5.” Gao Gong sincerely lamented, truly the monster from the Cyber Test Field.

”Oh, so it’s Minister Gao, how could Minister Gao be here?” Clown Aramaki saw him, reaching out to greet.

”You’ll have to ask her.”

Gao Gong motioned to Mei Wanwan beside him, or rather, the last Virtual Personality of the Fortress.

”Where is he!?”

The ’Fortress’ glanced, and Mei Wanwan’s body was covered in countless cracks, blood flowing wildly.

Yet Mei Wanwan’s expression showed no particular change, she merely looked at them and calmly replied:

”Dead.”

”I don’t recall there being anyone on this planet capable of killing him.”

”He emptied his own systems, leaving only this vacant Virtual Machine, on which you should be clearer than I am.”

”Why?”

”Big guy, I feel like maybe we should withdraw,” Clown Aramaki whispered from the side, sniffing the scent of conspiracy as a schemer.

”Let her speak!” The ’Fortress’ directly interrupted, his tone rather irritable.

At the moment he was put inside, his biggest goal was revenge, he planned for a whole hundred years, only to find he was greeted with news of death.

”To protect this planetary world, some are destined to sacrifice, Aramaki died for it, Fortress died for it,” Mei Wanwan said in a flat tone: ”This was the first virtual instruction we received after being developed, its priority is higher than anyone’s.”

”All of you are dead, who else will suppress this Cyber Test Field!?”

”This planet cannot see the sun, now look, what is in the sky?”

The ’Fortress’ suddenly looked up, a blazing sun hung high in the sky.

And in reality, no matter what hemisphere, what region, what Mechanic City, they could see that sun, golden radiance breaking through the radiation layer, surging across the sky, boundless.

For a moment, the entire planet was bathed in the golden world.

Most people seemed to be in a daze, following the golden stairs upward, as if seeing a new world.

”This intensity of Destructive Energy, tsk tsk,” Gao Gong looked up, the memory of seeing the ’Minister Clown’ when suppressing the Turing God echoed in his mind.

”Long time no see, Mr. G.”

”Aramaki, why has your hair grown so much?”

”...That’s not the point.”

”Your current state is a bit strange.”

”I have long been dead. The Aramaki before you is just a fake that inherited most of my memories, and the Planet Host that created him is also a fake.”

”Since it’s a fake, how can you prove what you’re saying is true?”

”If a fake Fortress can create a fake Aramaki, then the real Fortress can naturally temporarily modify the ’Fake Aramaki’ and inject my final intention into it.”

”Oh, then what is your purpose?”

”I hope you can temporarily spare Turing. Concerning Turing, the Fortress and I have a plan.”

”What plan?”

”A plan to save the world.”

...

”In the last life, Aramaki and the Fortress probably failed.” Gao Gong murmured.

The entire planet was engulfed by Destructive Energy, and Turing’s power surged to its limit at this moment, consuming an unknown number of figures.

The ’Fortress’ stared dazedly at this scene until the entire body was enveloped in golden flames and then burned fiercely.

The Fortress is dead, and the master of the Planet Virtual Machine has long since become Turing.

The entire ’Planet Host’ has become Turing’s ’Divine Throne.’

Turing ascended the Divine Throne once more.

And the Clown Desolate Scroll also stared blankly at his abdomen, where a fist broke through him from behind in the virtual code.

”Why?” the Clown Desolate Scroll asked in a daze, ”You are the Punk Virus, the Planet Host could never spare you.”

”I’m not interested in being a cosmic wanderer. I just want to overthrow the world, isn’t this great now.”

As Zero’s words echoed, the Clown’s body began disintegrating inch by inch. Even in death, he couldn’t understand why there would be such an impulsive fool in the world.

...

”If it were the Fortress Elder himself, he could not violate the ancient agreement with the Mechanical Sovereign to hand over control of the Planet Host to Turing.”

”And without the Fortress Elder, the entire Planet Host cannot truly activate, so a special plan was born.”

”Using the Punk Virus to create a rebellious Host Consciousness, then creating an Aramaki to execute tasks, finally making Aramaki’s successor, Yagami Suuji, a pawn to lure the opponent in.”

Mei Wanwan narrated calmly, without any emotional fluctuations over her own death.

”So the Fortress sensed ’Monster Under the Stars’ a hundred years ago?” Gao Gong asked curiously.

”Yes, as a ’Planet Virtual Machine’ placed in outer space, the Fortress Elder sensed the Information Virus much earlier than the other two Planet Hosts.”

”Then why didn’t it notify the legendary Mechanical Sovereign?”

”In the Cyber Test Field, accidents are permitted, potentially driving technological evolution. The Fortress Elder sensed that the intensity of this accident might be beyond expectations.”

”Remarkable.”

”But there are still some matters that will trouble you.”

”Of course, it’s part of the transaction.”

Gao Gong looked in another direction, where four figures stood: Patriarch Xie, 3rd Generation Miller, Black Rose.

And standing in the middle, a black shadow.

...

”The self-saving methods of the natives on this planet are quite intriguing,” the Supreme Messenger curiously stared at the sky, watching more and more figures being absorbed into the golden light.

”Using a super information entity to absorb all the living, this is quite rare in non-divine civilizations.”

”But very effective, isn’t it?” Black Rose said softly, ”That Monster Under the Stars cannot invade the Destruction Form, right?”

”Indeed, the embodiment of the Cosmic Relic is truly difficult to invade,” the Supreme Messenger chuckled and shook his head, ”But I came here to prevent unexpected factors from appearing.”

”There is not just one unexpected factor,” Patriarch Xie suddenly said.

”Allow me to introduce myself: Minister of Shell Mobile Division, founder of the Du Gao Group, and most importantly, the overbearing female President’s male lover, Mr. G.”

With a flicker of purple light, a figure suddenly appeared, showing a provocative smile to the others.

”Mr. G, are you trying to stop us?”

”No no no, your intentions, I’ve always been very cooperative with,” Gao Gong laughed, ”I’m here to cooperate with you.”

”For instance, like this.”

With a snap of Gao Gong’s fingers, a blank box appeared out of thin air. As the box slowly opened, endless seaweed emerged from it, each covered in wriggling worms.

Suddenly, the expressions of those present changed.
