The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1201: Chapter 1201: She Still Dares to Come!

Two days later, Mr. Wilmar’s funeral.

Everyone who should come from Beijing has arrived.

The entrance of the Wilmar Family is filled with all kinds of sedans, each with an extraordinary license plate.

All members of the Wilmar Family, including Ivy Wilmar and Myles Sullivan, are dressed in black suits, solemnly standing at the door to greet those who come to pay their respects.

Raymond Wilmar stands next to Ivy Wilmar, supported by her, looking extremely sad, her eyes are red from crying, and her expression is haggard and aged.

Except for her daughter Ivy Wilmar and son-in-law Myles Sullivan, everyone else in the Wilmar Family has a slightly peculiar attitude towards her.

It seems disdainful, yet unconsciously distant.

No one wants to stand together where Raymond Wilmar stands.

It seems like everyone has agreed to keep a distance from their family.

Raymond Wilmar stands to the left, with an empty space behind her, only Ivy Wilmar and Myles Sullivan.

Yonathan Wilmar stands to the right, behind him, besides Lowie Wilmar, the seven aunts and eight aunts of the Wilmar Family, all the relatives stand together.

This comparison makes the difference even more apparent.

Anyone with eyes can see Mr. Wilmar’s departure was sudden, but it seems the Wilmar Family has already chosen the future heir.

Everyone is sharp, just from the difference in standing position, it’s clear which way the wind will blow in the future.

All the guests paying respects first comfort Yonathan Wilmar, then when passing Raymond Wilmar’s family, they casually exchange a couple of polite words before going in.

Priorities are clear!

The difference in attitude is immense.

Raymond Wilmar grits her teeth so hard they almost shatter, pinching the palm of her own hand intensely. If it wasn’t for Ivy Wilmar supporting her, she would be too angry to stand.

But today is Mr. Wilmar’s funeral, as a direct-line descendant of the Wilmar Family, she has to endure through today no matter what.

Especially after the incident at the hospital, she has been thoroughly embarrassed within the Wilmar Family. She’s grateful that Yonathan Wilmar didn’t make a big deal out of this disgrace, so she wouldn’t dare risk angering her younger brother and cause a scene at Mr. Wilmar’s funeral.

Raymond Wilmar has been forcing herself to maintain control, struggling to endure without erupting, barely keeping the peace on the surface.

Until the girl with a restrained yet arrogant figure appeared in her field of vision.

Raymond Wilmar’s bland face instantly twisted, she gritted her teeth and whispered, ”She dares to come!”

Seeing his mother-in-law about to erupt, Myles Sullivan went over and grabbed her, shaking his head, ”Mom, Nathalie is also here to pay respects, don’t cause a scene today, otherwise it won’t look good to Mr. Wilmar.”

Raymond Wilmar took a deep breath, pursed her thin lips without making a sound.

Then watched her younger brother change from his previously steady and capable demeanor, walking towards the girl with a notably gentle attitude, ”Ms. Quinlan, you’re here.”

Nathalie Quinlan came to pay respects today, not wearing a hat, just in a black sweater, paired with black canvas shoes, nodded at his words, and greeted the man, ”Uncle Wilmar.”

Yonathan Wilmar saw Nathalie Quinlan and recalled how, three days ago, had it not been for her reckless bravery at the hospital, he might not have been able to see his father one last time. His expression was exceptionally gentle, tapping the girl’s shoulder, then worriedly asked, ”Isn’t it school time today? I hope you haven’t delayed your studies.”

”It’s alright.”

Nathalie Quinlan’s lashes lowered, raven black, quite reserved, ”No classes this morning.”

”Good.” Yonathan Wilmar nodded, his rugged face with well-defined features, a nose high and firm, giving a sharp impression, but towards Nathalie Quinlan, his attitude was very friendly, as if knowing her for many years, full of concern, ”As long as it hasn’t delayed your studies.”
