The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1231: Chapter 1231: In the Middle, It’s Nathalie

”How do you know Nathalie will definitely succeed?”

”...” Brian Bonette glanced at him without speaking; he certainly knew.

Virus?

He still vividly remembers the scene where Nathalie Quinlan cracked the ’Lizard’s Tail’ virus at The Ninth Institute. He didn’t answer Sadam Vinson directly but left a noncommittal response: ”Ask Amadeus, don’t ask me.”

”Damn! Didn’t you say it yourself?” Had he asked, it was he who joined in saying Nathalie would definitely succeed: ”I never asked you anyway.”

Brian Bonette fell silent, lifting his hand to adjust the glasses on his nose, exuding an air of refined delinquency.

Sadam Vinson observed his slick demeanor and wisely refrained from further inquiry, knowing Brian Bonette’s lips were sealed, and it was futile to ask anyway.

He turned to look at Amadeus Yancey.

As Amadeus Yancey noticed the virus theme, he raised his brow and rotated the glass in his hand. The Tequila inside swayed without a glance towards Sadam Vinson.

Virus?

Interesting.

The atmosphere in the box was quite tense.

Govert Griffin, Nadya Tucker, and others didn’t quite grasp Nathalie Quinlan’s computer skills and feared she would be eliminated right at the start.

The contestants from 16 countries had already begun programming the software on their computers.

Nathalie Quinlan’s speed didn’t stand out.

Seemingly unhurried.

Not anxious at all.

Nadya Tucker was tense, biting her lipstick off a bit: ”Ms. Quinlan seems average in speed. Not fast, not slow, about seventh or eighth.”

The rules of this competition required participants to attack opponents’ computers using virus software they developed, and whoever could crash all opponents’ computers would win.

Under these rules, creating the virus software first was crucial.

For instance, if you complete yours first, you can attack the opponent’s computer first.

The opponent, having not developed similar virus software yet, might be directly eliminated by you.

This preliminary round was 16 into 1.

That is to say, only one person could laugh till the very end.

If Nathalie Quinlan wasn’t the standout, even second place meant nothing, let alone being just in the middle.

Neither outstanding nor the worst.

Simply very ordinary!

Sadam Vinson was incredibly agitated, his brows furrowed, and he couldn’t help but want to ask Brian Bonette and Amadeus Yancey again, but he forcibly restrained himself.

Holding his breath, his line of sight was firmly locked onto the blue light LED screen.

An hour later.

Someone had already developed virus software.

The first to complete the software immediately launched an attack on others’ computers, causing Nadya Tucker, Govert Griffin, and others to become even more nervous.

Almost unable to breathe.

Afraid Nathalie Quinlan’s computer would be the first to go black.

Those chosen to participate were certainly top talents in this area, and within a minute of the first virus appearing, three computers went black.

”So fast?” Sadam Vinson hadn’t expected the competition would be so intense.

In a minute, three people eliminated.

That is to say, besides the one who first completed the software, and Nathalie Quinlan, there were still 12 left among 16.

The atmosphere in the box gradually became tense.

Govert Griffin whispered nearby: ”Ms. Quinlan’s computer is still on; the opponent’s virus seems unaffected by Ms. Quinlan.”

The live broadcast was showing the running condition of each computer, with Nathalie Quinlan’s computer continually inputting C programming using an encoder.

Quickly, the second virus software was also completed.
