The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1200: Chapter 1200: My grandfather has an important friend in Beijing

Hendrik Zachmann smiled slightly and nodded, ”Yeah, she’s pretty close with Mr. Yancey and the others; they often hang out together.”

Evron Barness couldn’t help but glance over, clicking his tongue in surprise, ”Mr. Yancey and his group don’t usually hang out with people outside the Circle. Your sister has gained their recognition, which shows she’s just as exceptional as you often describe.”

”Even Master Cadmus isn’t an ordinary person. If your sister can study alongside him, her future prospects are limitless!” He thought for a moment and added, feeling a bit expectant.

He wanted to see what Hendrik Zachmann’s impressive biological sister actually looked like.

Previously, the cousins were all so beautiful, so Hendrik Zachmann’s biological sister should be even better-looking.

Most importantly, he didn’t think that Caryn could also connect with The Ninth Institute and Master Cadmus. Just for this reason alone, Caryn Zachmann is worth meeting.

Of course.

They themselves can visit Maybelissa and have seen much more of the world than their peers in Beijing, and Evron Barness has his own pride.

Regarding Caryn Zachmann knowing that person from the Yancey Family, he just listens and doesn’t plan on connecting with that person through Caryn.

He’s not the type to do something like this!

Hendrik Zachmann gripped the steering wheel with both hands, started the car, no longer caring about Nathalie Quinlan and the others. He turned his face, his expression carrying the youthful arrogance, even though he managed it well, the arrogance still seeped through, similar to the way Caryn Zachmann usually shows off, both belong to the category of those who think they’re superior.

He turned his head and told his friend, ”I’ve arranged to have dinner with Caryn, later I’ll introduce you.”

Evron Barness responded with a cheerful smile and agreed readily, ”Alright. I’ll just tag along for the meal then.”

Though saying this, Evron Barness genuinely had no intention of freeloading for a meal from Hendrik Zachmann, and Hendrik knew it well, it’s just polite banter between them.

He laughed, ”It’s just a meal; if you’re available, you can even stay at my place.”

Evron Barness holds a higher status at Maybelissa than Hendrik and is valued more, especially in IT development. Evron far outshines him, often Hendrik relies on Evron’s help with work matters, so he half-jokingly, half-seriously made the offer.

But the other seemed to take it as a joke, didn’t respond, leaned back with a humorous grin, ”Forget about staying at your place, I’ve booked a hotel. My grandfather is coming to Beijing in a few days to meet an important friend, and I have to accompany him. We’ll just have a meal today.”

”Mr. Yapiter is coming to Beijing?” Hendrik Zachmann asked while reversing, seemingly casually, ”Do you want me to accompany you to pick him up?”

”No need.”

Evron Barness declined without hesitation, afraid Hendrik might overthink, he responded casually, ”My grandfather is just here to meet a friend. His friend is pretty mysterious, I haven’t even met them. He cares a lot about this friend, doesn’t like others disturbing them.”

Meaning it’s inconvenient to bring Hendrik along.

Hendrik instantly understood; someone whom Owen Yapiter values so much surely has an extraordinary identity, likely beyond his reach. Insisting on going would appear as if he’s trying too hard to climb up the social ladder.

He didn’t continue on the topic, just as the car reversed out, Hendrik Zachmann turned the car around and said to Evron, ”Let’s head to the Imperial Hotel, Caryn is waiting there.”

Evron Barness responded with a casual acknowledgment, after the initial surprise, his interest in Caryn Zachmann still wasn’t significant, ”Alright!”

The black Bugatti drove onto the road, leaving behind a trail of exhaust, turning in the opposite direction, disappearing in no time...
