The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1209: Chapter 1209: Two Applicants, Chinese Medicine Department is Going to Defy the Heavens This Year

Stewin Hoffman noticed there was a freshman girl registering, and couldn’t help but look over: ”Um, do you know that girl over there?”

Zayn Fisher wasn’t interested in girls and just glanced over, feeling she looked familiar, so he said: ”Seems like a freshman this year.”

He thought for a moment, then added: ”Chinese Medicine department.”

He didn’t really pay attention to the girls in school, only unconsciously followed people around Nathalie Quinlan.

He’s seen Velnisa Irvin a few times around Nathalie Quinlan, felt she was familiar, and recognized her.

”Oh.” Stewin Hoffman scratched his head, speaking in a puzzling tone: ”How did someone from the Chinese Medicine department come to register for a software competition?”

After speaking, Stewin Hoffman realized he might have misspoken.

After all, Zayn Fisher wasn’t a computer science major either, so he vaguely tried to smooth it over: ”Maybe she has a talent in this area. The current freshmen are really something else.”

It goes without saying who the ’something else’ referred to.

Zayn Fisher said nothing, holding his belongings and standing there coldly waiting to submit the registration form.

...

This competition is extremely prestigious.

It’s essentially a world-class competition.

Any computer science student with some confidence wants to give it a try, so there are many students registering.

Inside the president’s office, besides Jackson Wafford, there were also several computer science teachers.

The primary responsibility was collecting the software submitted by students and recording names, departments.

Jackson Wafford himself was holding a rosewood teapot, sipping tea, while standing by watching students enthusiastically signing up.

Originally, he had quite a casual attitude, seemingly not interested in this registration matter.

After all, Tsinghua University has always been less impressive in the computer science field compared to neighboring Southern University, and in past years, representatives for international competitions were always Southern University students.

Tsinghua University... every year, it’s all about participation!

It’s likely the same this year.

He’s gotten used to it.

Until a bold figure appeared, handed a USB flash drive to the registering teacher, speaking quite nonchalantly: ”I want to register. Chinese Medicine department, Nathalie Quinlan.”

”Pfft!” Jackson Wafford almost choked on his tea, it got stuck in his throat, he nearly spit it out, coughing violently as he patted his chest: ”Cough cough cough!”

Several computer science teachers saw him coughing with a red face and quickly offered him paper towels.

Jackson Wafford struggled to swallow the water stuck in his throat, the redness on his face hadn’t faded, and he hurriedly widened his eyes looking at the calm girl standing not far away, feeling incredibly complex: ”Uh... Nathalie Quinlan, you want to compete?”

Nathalie Quinlan looked at the USB flash drive she had already placed on the table, seemingly thinking he was stating the obvious, but still responded politely: ”Yes.”

”Aren’t you from the Chinese Medicine department?” Jackson Wafford couldn’t drink his tea.

Mr. Avalon and Mr. Norton have been so idle lately, both industry giants took on apprentices and have no time to teach?

Nathalie Quinlan gave him a rather baffled look, leisurely retorting: ”Can’t someone from the Chinese Medicine department compete?”

”Not at all.” Jackson Wafford immediately denied.

Several computer science teachers had heard about this year’s top scholar being really impressive but had never met Nathalie Quinlan in person.

They overheard Jackson Wafford speaking to Nathalie Quinlan and knew she was the only seedling from the Chinese Medicine department; suddenly, their gazes at Nathalie Quinlan changed.

Earlier, there was also a girl from the Chinese Medicine department registering for this software competition.

Now there’s another one.

This year, the Chinese Medicine department is unstoppable!
