The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1204: Chapter 1204: Why Did Khendy Lordon Come to Beijing

But in the situation he understood, Khendy Lordon was not a simple businessman.

This person was extremely dangerous.

Many international affairs were related to Khendy Lordon.

However, Khendy Lordon was very low-key, completely different from his style of doing things. He rarely appeared in public, almost never accepted interviews, and there was not a single photo of him online.

The Ninth Institute does have a photo of Khendy Lordon, but it’s only a half-body shot, and it’s an old photo from many years ago.

How could such a dangerous figure come to Beijing?

Moreover, she had not heard any news about Khendy Lordon coming to the country before.

Why did Khendy Lordon suddenly come to Beijing?

Amadeus Yancey had a fleeting moment of countless thoughts, but in an instant, he saw the person coming in through the door.

Yonathan Wilmar was accompanying the man beside him. The man was very young, around twenty-seven or twenty-eight, his facial features weren’t particularly outstanding, but his eyes were very beautiful, similar to Nathalie Quinlan’s eyes. Like starlight slowly falling into distant mountains, giving an extremely friendly illusion.

But that wasn’t the main point.

The point was that the man didn’t walk in; he was sitting in a wheelchair, being pushed by a black-clothed bodyguard.

A plaid blanket was draped over his legs, just enough to cover them.

Such an outstanding man, sitting in a wheelchair, seemed particularly jarring!

As if a fine porcelain was broken in half.

”Oh my, Khendy Lordon is...”

Sadam Vinson couldn’t help but almost blurt out the word ’cripple’.

He was halfway through his sentence when a hand suddenly pulled him, cutting him off: ”What are you guys doing here?”

Sadam Vinson forgot he wanted to say ’cripple’, turned his head and bumped into the goddess’s dark eyes, revealing no emotions.

He paused for a second, then reacted: ”Ah, we came to send Mr. Wilmar off one last time. Nathalie, if you were coming, why didn’t you tell us? We could have come together.”

”It was a last-minute decision.” Nathalie Quinlan glanced casually towards the direction of the person coming in through the door, or perhaps did not, with her hands casually in her pockets, said to Sadam Vinson: ”I’ve finished offering my condolences, are you leaving or not?”

The glance she gave towards Khendy Lordon was very casual, Sadam Vinson didn’t notice at all, but Amadeus Yancey did.

He realized it wasn’t just Nathalie Quinlan who looked at the person coming in.

Khendy Lordon seemed to be looking their way too.

And it wasn’t focused on him and Sadam Vinson; the gaze was extremely stubborn, as if there was no one else in his eyes.

It was only aimed at one person—Nathalie Quinlan!

He instinctively frowned, blocking the gaze without a trace, and said deeply to Sadam Vinson, who was dawdling and wanted to stay longer: ”Let’s go, back home.”

Sadam Vinson looked at him in surprise, touched his nasal bone, not understanding why Amadeus was in such a hurry to leave.

Wasn’t Khendy Lordon here?

Doesn’t Amadeus want to know why Khendy Lordon came to Beijing?

But Nathalie Quinlan and Amadeus Yancey both said to leave, he couldn’t find a reason to stay alone, so he happily followed the two and left first.

*

Nathalie Quinlan had no classes in the morning.

She returned to Rhine apartment with Amadeus Yancey.

Sadam Vinson thick-skinned also followed and stayed in the apartment.

Today Alfred Garland wasn’t around, it seemed Amadeus Yancey had arranged for him to do something else, without Alfred Garland no one made tea.

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t mind, and after returning she opened the fridge to take out a bottle of chilled mineral water, twisted the cap and drank.
