The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1229: Chapter 1229: Digging at His People in Front of Him

Nathalie Quinlan raised an eyebrow and stared at the WhatsApp message for a while. She didn’t reply, and just tossed her phone into the security box.

She then unzipped her single shoulder bag and poured out all its contents for the security to check.

Today, Winston Sullivan and Leo Dunn from Tsinghua University’s computer science department accompanied her here, watching as the security checked the items Nathalie had brought.

Winston Sullivan took a deep breath, steadied his mind, and said to Nathalie, ”Nathalie, don’t feel pressured later, just perform normally.”

”Yes, I know.” The girl lowered her eyelashes slightly, looking quite obedient, the type who’s very easy to communicate with.

Leo Dunn was also worried that Nathalie was under too much pressure, and said from the side, ”That’s right, listen to your Professor Sullivan, don’t stress too much. It’d be best if we achieve good results; if not, don’t worry too much. You should already know the domestic results before, they never made it past the line. Even if you don’t make it past the line in the end, it’s no big deal, just do your best.”

Winston Sullivan didn’t expect him to say that, and looked at him with surprise. He thought Leo Dunn would definitely want Nathalie to achieve results, so their computer science department could finally hold their heads high.

Unexpectedly, Leo Dunn didn’t even mention that, instead comforting Nathalie, afraid the student was too burdened with pressure.

The computer science department and the Chinese Medicine department generally had no interactions.

Winston Sullivan and Leo Dunn were in the same school, but the two were not very familiar with each other.

Winston Sullivan had just begun to develop a good impression of Leo Dunn, but the next moment, he overturned the tiny bit of fondness that had risen within him.

”Nathalie, have you thought about switching departments?” Leo Dunn asked super directly, seeming to forget Winston Sullivan was still beside him. He straightforwardly said, ”Since you signed up for this competition, surely you have some interest in computer science. It’s just the beginning of the semester, why don’t you consider switching to our computer science department?”

Winston Sullivan’s face suddenly sank, he grabbed Leo Dunn’s shoulder and, not waiting for Nathalie to respond, hurriedly pulled him away, putting on a polite yet insincere smile: ”Professor Dunn, you’re poaching people right in front of our Chinese Medicine department, isn’t this a bit much.”

”I just think Nathalie has talent in computer science, studying Chinese Medicine is such a waste of her IT talent.”

”Haha, she has talent in Chinese Medicine too! Professor Dunn, don’t forget, even my teacher has come out of retirement to take students, you think just switching departments whenever you say so is okay?”

Leo Dunn almost forgot Nathalie was studying Chinese Medicine with Mr. Avalon, touched his nose and was somewhat speechless due to Winston Sullivan’s rebuttal, yet still a little unwilling.

He looked at Nathalie, still wanting to say something.

Winston Sullivan quickly interrupted him: ”Professor Dunn, let’s talk about switching departments later, let’s let Nathalie go compete first. We’ll discuss this once the competition results are out.”

They rarely find such a good seed!

Leo Dunn wanted to poach them without any cost, dreaming!

Leo Dunn was not indifferent to this competition, on the contrary, he very much wanted Nathalie to stand out in this competition.

It’s just that domestically they’d never stood out.

He didn’t dare to have too high expectations for Nathalie, afraid that high expectations would lead to disappointment.

At this moment, Winston Sullivan said this, and Leo Dunn had no objections, silently closing his mouth, raised his eyebrows to look at Nathalie, and calmly said, ”Nathalie, don’t stress too much, just try your best to show your skill, the teacher believes in you.”

Nathalie’s beautiful black eyes gathered, she only responded with a sound. Her eyes dimmed slightly, and she didn’t directly respond to Leo Dunn’s words.
