The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1249: Chapter 1249: Caryn Zachmann Also Fancies the MV’s Heroine

”How did Mom know?” Caryn Zachmann was taken aback.

Celine Tucker didn’t mind the surprised look she got. She continued to ask, ”What are you doing at the TV station?”

Caryn Zachmann hesitated for a moment and told her, feeling quite annoyed, ”Nothing much. I heard that an exercise promotional video is being filmed domestically, and the Tanzil Family invited worldwide famous director George Lucas. I’m just thinking of trying out for it. If I can get the female lead role in this promotional video, it would be a plus for me.”

They in the circle look down on those who enter the entertainment circle. It’s okay to play around, but making entertainment your main career like what Audrick Zachmann did is a disgrace.

Caryn Zachmann had long planned out the future path she wanted to take.

She never thought of joining the entertainment circle and looked down on the entertainment circle.

But she had a top star brother sitting there, so it’d be a waste not to use him, not use for nothing!

Therefore, she went to the TV station this time, wanting to meet Stephanie Tanzil and propose that she and Audrick Zachmann could jointly shoot this MTV video.

Celine Tucker, hearing what she said, slightly relaxed her brows, guessed Caryn Zachmann’s intentions, and agreed with her daughter’s move to bundle her son, asking, ”What did Stephanie Tanzil say?”

”I didn’t see her.” Caryn Zachmann flicked her bag, feeling even more irritable, ”I went to the TV station and hadn’t seen her yet. Her assistant stopped me, saying she’s in a meeting today and can’t see me. The assistant also didn’t know when she would be done with the meeting, so I came back.”

Celine Tucker wasn’t surprised by this result. After pondering a moment, she said, ”You don’t need to worry about this for now, I’ll probe her later.”

Caryn Zachmann nodded, feeling slightly less disoriented, but looking at them about to reach the dining room, she wore a cold face and replied sternly, ”Hmm.”

In the blink of an eye, they were already stopping at the dining room for tonight.

Before entering, Celine Tucker whispered, ”Caryn, this MV is just an extra credit. You need to sort out your current priorities. Your main focus right now is to pass Master Cadmus’s laboratory assessment as soon as possible! Once you get into Master Cadmus’s team, your dad and your brother will naturally shift their attention to you. By that time, nieces and cousins are all outsiders! Do you understand my opinion?”

”I understand.”

Caryn Zachmann couldn’t fail to understand her opinion; Nathalie Quinlan’s recent showcase in Zachmann Family stems from her joining a competition group stage and bringing prestige to the family.

If Caryn can earn even greater honor for the family, she will naturally be the one shining the brightest at home.

The future of the Zachmann Family would revert to relying on her shoulders.

Including the old mansion that was allocated to the elder uncle’s family by their grandfather, they’d reconsider the choice of heirs.

Caryn Zachmann held back a breath, tugged at her lips, mentally prepared herself, and stated with a smile that didn’t reach her eyes, ”Let’s go, Mom, let’s go inside.”

Inside the private dining room, Hendrik Zachmann and Leonardy Zachmann were present.

Besides Hendrik Zachmann and Leonardy Zachmann, Grandma’s family was also there. Apart from Grandma’s family, there were several relatives of the Zachmann Family present from Beijing.

”Caryn, you’ve arrived!”

Grandma of the Zachmann Family, seeing Celine Tucker and her daughter coming in, immediately enthusiastically called Caryn Zachmann over, her expression extremely ingratiating.

”Come quickly, sit here with Grandma. I specifically saved a spot for you.”

Grandma, among all the relatives, is old and holds the highest rank. Out of respect for elders, Leonardy and Hendrik gave her the main seat.

Bernard Ingram, however, seemingly oblivious to who’s the main protagonist of tonight’s dinner, warmly pulled Caryn Zachmann over, smilingly said, ”Grandma hasn’t seen you in so long, she missed you very much. How about sitting by my side today, Caryn?”
