The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1221: Chapter 1221: Three days later, I have a competition

Nathalie Quinlan is not someone who is good at expressing emotions.

Her eyes were deep and contemplative for a moment, darkened slightly. She seemed to just change her pose, raise her wrist, pick up the cup and put it down again, with the same expression. But her voice was noticeably huskier than before: ”Hmm, I know.”

Audrick Zachmann felt slightly relieved: ”It’s good that you know. Don’t overthink it. No matter what, the family supports you; you’re not alone.”

”...Yeah.” Nathalie Quinlan looked up again, glanced at Audrick Zachmann, as if casually, yet seriously said to him: ”Brother, I have a competition in three days. If you have time, remember to watch.”

”Nathalie, what did you call me...” Audrick Zachmann didn’t wait for the girl to answer, raised his lips and showed a row of big white teeth, waving his hand first: ”Never mind, don’t answer, I’m just a bit happy.”

Oh!

He just clearly heard Nathalie call him brother!

Nathalie has always had a good relationship with him, but honestly, the times she’s called him brother can be counted on his fingers.

Altogether not many times.

And it was when they just met, when Nathalie was restraining her temperament, called him once or twice at that time.

Audrick Zachmann’s mood suddenly improved; he didn’t want to think about the bothersome matters regarding Hendrik Zachmann and Caryn Zachmann, his eyes shining brightly as he pursued: ”Three days later, right?”

Nathalie Quinlan was made slightly embarrassed by him, awkwardly raising the tea cup to cover her mouth: ”Yeah, in three days, there’s a software competition, I signed up for it.”

”I have a magazine shoot that day, they’re shooting a front page.” Audrick Zachmann didn’t even ask about the level or importance of Nathalie’s competition, directly found his phone while still chatting with Nathalie, and already messaged his agent to free up that day.

Mr. Zachmann is just a big shot in the entertainment circle playing around.

He accidentally became a top star.

After sending a message to the company, he casually tossed the phone onto the table, nonchalantly: ”Alright, I told them I’m not going.”

He acted so quickly that Nathalie couldn’t even stop him, watching him operate like a tiger, her mouth twitching: ”Three in the afternoon.”

”Where?”

”An online competition. You can watch it on a computer. I’ll install some software for you then,” Nathalie said calmly.

There is no venue for the world software competition’s preliminary round.

Only after passing the preliminary round and obtaining the group stage qualification will there be offline competitions.

The preliminary round is an online competition.

Organizers will prepare a dedicated room, with a professional computer ready inside, containing only programming software and nothing else.

Additionally, there will be specialized staff watching you to prevent you from bringing external hardware.

There will also be surveillance cameras installed in the room!

Any attempt at cheating will be immediately caught.

In short, the world software competition is a world-class competition; even if it’s just a preliminary round, whether online or offline, the standards are equally strict.

”Are you saying you’ll stream the competition on the computer?”

Audrick Zachmann is from the entertainment circle, not the tech circle, and he was completely bewildered by what Nathalie said.

Now organizing a competition doesn’t involve setting up a venue or arranging an arena where people buy tickets to watch?

Nathalie estimated he didn’t understand the specifications of software competitions, nodded without elaborating: ”Kind of. Sixteen people will compete together to select one.”

Audrick Zachmann looked like he’d seen a ghost: ”Selecting one out of sixteen? Geez, that’s a tough play.”
