The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1211: Chapter 1211: The Results Are Out

Principal’s office.

Several teachers from the computer science department were assessing the assignments submitted by the applicants according to the order of registration.

Until the results came out.

Leo Dunn, the head of the computer science department, was sitting in his chair in a daze.

Jackson Wafford was particularly concerned about the ’assignment’ Nathalie Quinlan submitted. He checked Nathalie Quinlan’s software last and then sat there silently, more anxious than Leo Dunn, with one hand on the back of his chair, leaning forward, asking hurriedly: ”How is it?”

Leo Dunn was speechless.

He stared blankly at the desktop computer in front of him, his mind blank for a long time.

”Mr. Dunn, what is the result! Haven’t you finished reviewing the software submitted by all the students? Who’s software will our school submit this year?”

”...”

The other teachers in the computer science department were silent too, with expressions of existential doubt on their faces.

Jackson Wafford was even more anxious.

He just sent Mr. Yancey a message about Nathalie Quinlan’s participation in the competition.

Mr. Yancey had asked him to inform himself once the results were out.

This group of people were not speaking, and he was uncertain: ”So who is selected this year?”

After being dazed for a long time, Leo Dunn finally looked at Jackson Wafford, his facial expression was extremely complicated, simply astonishing!

”Principal, are you sure Nathalie Quinlan is enrolled in the Chinese Medicine department?”

”?????”

”What do you mean?”

Leo Dunn looked at the software on the computer, feeling troubled like a cat scratching his heart, he said sulkily: ”Such a good talent, why did they go into medicine!”

Jackson Wafford: ”?????”

He couldn’t hold it in any longer and asked sternly: ”Mr. Dunn, could you just tell me directly, you’re speaking halfway but not finishing, I’ve been listening for a while and still don’t understand what you mean.”

Leo Dunn finally took a deep breath, exhaled, his expression slightly relaxing though still very complex: ”Do you know what software Nathalie Quinlan submitted?”

”What?”

”A downloader.”

”She made a complete downloader that can speed up downloads, twice as fast as the existing ones on the market, and it’s extremely small and portable.”

Leo Dunn couldn’t describe the excitement within himself at this moment.

This is freaking software that a freshman can’t create!

No, rather, a mature technician might not have such skill and strength.

The point is, such an exceptionally talented student, turns out to be studying Chinese Medicine?!

The hearts of the several teachers from the computer science department felt as if they were being roasted over a fire, it was an agony!

Such a good talent, yet not someone from their computer science department.

Jackson Wafford finally understood: ”So you mean you have chosen Nathalie Quinlan’s software?”

Leo Dunn exchanged glances with the other teachers, then took the lead and said with a bitter smile: ”Do we have any other choice?”

This time, the computer science department had about twenty people applying.

Among them were students they favored.

The software they produced was not bad, a normal level of performance.

But just that!

Compared to what Nathalie Quinlan submitted, all were worthless, not worth mentioning.

Jackson Wafford had long been mentally prepared, knowing Nathalie Quinlan might not be as simple as she appeared, Nathalie Quinlan since she knew people from the Illegal Zone and the Red Alliance, capable in computers, very normal.

But he did not expect that when Nathalie Quinlan made a move, the professors from Tsinghua University’s computer science were all reacting as if they had discovered a treasure.
