The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1217: Chapter 1217: Tired of Such Inferior Tricks

He casually tossed the phone onto the desk, his handsome face showing a look of disdain and contempt.

The person used a new number without revealing their name.

But he knew who sent him the message—Velnisa Irvin!

The girl from the Chinese Medicine department who entered the selection with him.

The person thought her tactics were clever, buying a new phone number online to send messages and hide her identity, but in truth, it was just ignorance.

For people like them, it’s easy to spend money to have someone track the IP location of the message and find her.

However, Zayn Fisher didn’t want to bother this time.

He was somewhat weary of people like Velnisa Irvin.

It’s like treating everyone around as fools to toy with, without knowing she is the real fool in others’ eyes!

He opened the computer.

Originally, he just wanted to go online to check some information.

Unexpectedly, the portal website pushed a headline news to him.

[World Software Competition’s Dark Horse: 18-year-old Girl Creates Scientific Innovation!]

Zayn Fisher furrowed his brows and clicked into that news.

Upon entering the webpage, it detailed what kind of project the world software competition was, then mentioned that half an hour ago the committee posted Nathalie Quinlan’s software on a professional website, detailing how her downloader outran current market offerings in both speed and size.

Zayn Fisher took a deep breath.

He opened the website again, entered the site mentioned in the news, and then saw Nathalie Quinlan’s software posted on the homepage of the professional website.

He downloaded it and gave it a try.

Three minutes later, Zayn Fisher removed his hands from the keyboard, covering his eyes with one hand, for the first time revealing a thoroughly embarrassed expression!

He was wrong.

Truly wrong.

Why did he ever think Nathalie Quinlan was inferior to Ghania Quinlan!

Before seeing the software Nathalie submitted, he could still fool himself that things might be as Velnisa Irvin said in the message, that Nathalie secured the competition spot purely through Amadeus Yancey’s connections, taking a backdoor in.

But after personally testing the software Nathalie created, he realized he was wrong.

Nathalie won fair and square!

She overwhelmed them with sheer capability, securing the sole spot!

Zayn Fisher took his hand off his face, bitterly smiling, then laughed.

Before returning to the dormitory, he encountered Zeus Tanzil downstairs, Zeus was on the phone with someone, seemingly in a very bad mood.

He now deeply understood why Zeus Tanzil was in such a foul mood.

It’s probably because he, like Zayn Fisher, realized he would never catch up to Nathalie Quinlan in this lifetime!

However, Zayn Fisher laughed and laughed but suddenly clenched his fists, unable to laugh anymore.

Zeus Tanzil had never pursued Nathalie Quinlan, while he was the one who picked the sesame but dropped the watermelon.

The self-mocking smile on Zayn Fisher’s face vanished instantly, sitting back in the chair, restoring his expressionless state.

Stewin Hoffman watched him and Zeus Tanzil, each reacting more intensely than the other and couldn’t help but whisper to others, ”Crazy, crazy, Mr. Tanzil just went crazy, and now another one here.”

Zayn Fisher, however, couldn’t hear a single word.

Indeed, he’s mad, but what good is it, there’s no regret medicine for sale in this world, and he has no chance to regret it.

Meanwhile, in Rivendell Club.

Caryn Zachmann had just seen online the news saying Nathalie Quinlan was selected to participate in this world software competition, her face instantly darkened.

”What are you looking at?” Hendrik Zachmann noticed Caryn Zachmann’s poor complexion, seemingly troubled by a predicament, and asked her concernedly.
