The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 329: Chapter 329: Amadeus Doesn’t Need Security Check_1

Amadeus Yancey guessed she wouldn’t even look at it, nodded, set his backpack aside, and told her, ”The airplane tickets are already set, we’re taking the 10:30 a.m. flight on the 3rd. You can sleep in, and we just need to arrive on time.”

Originally, he had considered using his private jet, but then he thought, since he was returning to Beijing on short notice and it was meant to be a secret, there was no need to make such a fuss.

After all, the main purpose of Ghania Quinlan’s trip to Beijing was to take the Tsinghua University exam. If she were to return with him on his private jet...

There would be too many eyes in Beijing bound to notice her.

By then, it would be difficult for her to take the exam in peace.

He had asked Mr. Zachmann’s opinion, and Mr. Zachmann thought the same--keep a low profile as much as possible.

Ghania was definitely going back to Beijing, and when the time came, she would return to her family. Before that, they needed to set up protective measures for her.

Lest her identity as the future Young Madam of the Yancey family be officially announced and the storm breaks, causing all sides to turn their attention to her and sweeping her into a whirlwind without her being the least prepared.

”Don’t we have to go through security an hour early?” Ghania, not having thought much about it, didn’t care which airplane she took.

Alfred Garland was driving in the front, and upon hearing this, he laughed and said, ”That’s for ordinary people. You don’t need to go through security checks when Amadeus takes you on a flight.”

His tone was full of pride.

Yet, his pride was different from the condescending pride of the Quinlan Family and Zayn Fisher; it was restrained and understated.

”Ms. Quinlan, you made the right choice following Amadeus. Beijing is his domain. He won’t get you lost!”

Beijing, his domain?

Ghania hadn’t made a point of looking into Amadeus Yancey’s background, but given his surname Yancey and association with Beijing, she could guess a bit without investigating.

There was only one Yancey family in Beijing, an honorable and distinguished family, among the earliest of settlers.

One could speculate on the prestige of his identity by looking at the attitudes of the imperious Adelia Tucker and Mrs. Fisher in McKinney.

Amadeus Yancey was not as simple as he seemed!

Ghania was well aware of this, but her expression remained lazily indifferent, lacking even the interest to ask.

Alfred thought she would ask him a couple of questions out of curiosity, but looking through the rearview mirror, he saw that Ghania was already resting with her eyes closed.

His mouth twitched, and after a moment of stunned silence, he regained his composure.

Indeed, it would be strange if Ms. Quinlan, like an ordinary girl, asked him why Beijing was under Amadeus’s control.

The reason Ms. Quinlan is Ms. Quinlan is because she is always composed, forever like an enigma difficult to decipher!

The miraculous healer of McKinney, the specially recruited student by Professor Wafford of Tsinghua University who was also skilled with computers... In short, Ms. Quinlan having one or two more identities wouldn’t surprise him at all; he was almost completely on Ms. Quinlan’s side now, feeling that Amadeus was the one reaching up!

Zayn Fisher returned home in a disheveled state, ignored the incessant questions from his mother, went upstairs, and locked himself in his room.

His bedroom was a spacious 40 square meters with everything from a king-sized bed to a rest area complete with a sofa and desk; outside, there was a large balcony where he had hired someone to design a bar. On the shelves were several bottles of red wine that one couldn’t find in ordinary stores.

After locking himself in his bedroom, Zayn irritably began to undo the buttons of his shirt.

The tension around his neck eased a lot, but the relief didn’t make his breathing any easier.

He kept thinking back to what had happened earlier at the gate of No. 1 Middle School.

He strode to the balcony, slid open the glass door, and randomly picked out a bottle of Old Man’s Head from the shelf. He twisted off the cap, grabbed a glass, and poured half a glass of wine.

Gulping down a mouthful of wine,

The fire in Zayn’s chest subsided somewhat, and his eyes flickered hesitantly as he took out his phone and brought up Ghania Quinlan’s phone number.

After pondering several times, he made the call.
