The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 323: Chapter 323: What If I Pass the Exam?_1

The meaning behind his words seemed to be suggesting that Nathalie’s admission into their A class wasn’t due to her own grades, but because she cheated.

”Tsinghua University’s independent recruitment process doesn’t allow cheating, so Nathalie definitely can’t get in!”

It’s utterly disgusting!

Zayn Fisher didn’t think he was being disgusting. He believed he was speaking the hard truth out of concern for Nathalie Quinlan.

”You clearly don’t understand Tsinghua’s independent recruitment exam. It might not have as many candidates as the college entrance examination, but the competition is much fiercer. It attracts the best students from all the top schools.”

”Ghania went to Beijing a month ago. Her uncle found her a famous teacher there to tutor her exclusively, and now her academic performance has skyrocketed.”

”She’s still pursuing the arts stream, which is different from you. You can only rely on your academic grades! If you don’t place in the top 30 in the academics, you won’t even qualify for the interview.”

His eyes were dark with seriousness, gripping the workbook in his hand as he earnestly said, ”Nathalie, I don’t want you to go all the way to Beijing and come back without even having the chance to interview. This workbook contains the popular questions from this year’s college entrance exams; I’ve circled them for you! If you just study them diligently, you won’t be at the bottom. Your dad’s a professor at Tsinghua, you can’t go there and embarrass him.”

”Hah,” Nathalie couldn’t help but snort with laughter.

With a perplexed expression, she stared at him and asked casually, ”How is my humiliation any concern of yours? And who told you that I can only be at the bottom of the pack?”

Ghania?

Zayn Fisher, seeing that she still wouldn’t accept the workbook he’d brought over out of good intentions, his handsome face couldn’t hide his annoyance. His mouth twitched, involuntarily revealing his true thoughts, ”Are you implying that you can get into Tsinghua?”

”Why not?” Nathalie didn’t even think before answering nonchalantly.

Zayn Fisher: ...

Did she think Tsinghua was some ordinary third-tier college that she could get into just by saying so?

Back when he, as the top science student from McKinney, got into Tsinghua, the entire No. 1 Middle School was abuzz!

To this day, his name is still listed among the honorable alumni of No. 1 Middle School.

Did Nathalie truly understand what sort of institution Tsinghua was?!

It was the academy every student in the country dreamed of attending!

He took a deep breath, calmed his emotions, and somberly said, ”Nathalie, I know you’re confident, and you think you can make it. But confidence isn’t always applicable. Sometimes overconfidence equals arrogance and can only delay you.”

”You and Ghania are taking the exam together this time, and I don’t want to see her get in while you don’t. Though it’s normal if you don’t get in, if I were you, I’d make good use of the remaining week and a bit, set aside my so-called pride, willingly accept help from others, recognize my shortcomings, and study more... At the least, even if I didn’t get in, I could tell myself that I tried my best.”

Jhovany Sullivan never knew showing concern for someone could be as nauseating as he was making it.

Though they were words of concern, they sounded so grating to her ears.

So grating that she wanted to hit someone!

And it wasn’t just her feeling that way. With Zayn Fisher clearly praising Ghania for her good grades and belittling Nathalie’s, Freddy Cagwin, Justin Wafford, and everyone in A class felt like hitting someone, too.

Freddy Cagwin’s fists were clenched tight, barely stopping himself from swinging at his face.

Nathalie’s dark eyes narrowed, watching him still earnestly advising her. She scoffed to interrupt him, brazen and wild, ”You keep saying I can’t get into Tsinghua. If I do get in, will you live-stream yourself eating shit?”
