The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 312: Chapter 312: Just a 20-carat rough diamond_1

Who’s thinking about her? Nathalie Quinlan’s puzzled expression on her pale oval face clearly showed she didn’t understand what was meant.

Silvania Ingram couldn’t help but laugh, walking over to pour her a cup of hot water and placing it on the table, ”It’s a saying from my hometown.”

”It roughly means that if someone isn’t sick but keeps sneezing non-stop, it’s because someone is talking about them, or missing them.”

Clutching the cup, the warmth from the glass spread to her palms, heating up her body. Nathalie blinked, pondered for a moment, and then, surprisingly, her lips curved into a smile, ”That’s possible.”

She wasn’t sure about others, but the little guy definitely missed her!

Silvania had been joking and teasing, but when Nathalie readily admitted it, she found herself at a loss for words.

She felt Nathalie didn’t really date. Lowie Wilmar had been around Nathalie for such a long time but never really saw her engage in a real relationship with him.

But...

She couldn’t help but think of the man she had seen at the Waterfront Pavilion that day, describing him as breathtakingly stunning was no exaggeration.

If it’s Mr. Yancey... Silvania wasn’t so sure anymore.

As she was lost in thought, Nathalie suddenly asked her, ”By the way, Mrs. Ingram, I remember you telling me you found a diamond in South Africa. Is that still in the company?”

Her attention diverted, Silvania mused before answering, ”Yes, there is one. Not only is it flawless, but the color is also pretty good. It’s in the company. Do you need it?”

”Yeah. I want to make a couple of small gadgets.” Nathalie leaned back against the sofa, her gaze mischievous, her demeanor relaxed as she looked down and took a sip of hot water.

The transparent glass reflected her image, and she just happened to see the hair clip pinned in her hair.

Well, it was strange at first, but after a while, it didn’t seem so awkward.

She had already owed Amadeus Yancey a favor, and then the little guy bought her a gift. Although the more bugs, the less they bite, she still wanted to repay some of the kindness.

Blue diamonds are rare in diamonds and perfect for men’s cufflinks!

A single stone should be enough to cut into one large and one small cufflink!

”I’ll go get it for you.” Silvania didn’t know what she wanted with the raw stone but didn’t even ask; she just headed straight for the safe.

If Nathalie wanted it, it’s not just a 20-carat rough diamond she would obtain for her; she would find a way to pluck stars from the sky if needed!

Not to mention, the Pinecone Group was never short of diamonds.

In the rose garden, Ivy Wilmar waited until almost six o’clock before she saw her husband’s car return.

She was already sick of the Quinlan Family’s tea.

As soon as he walked in, she stood up and asked, ”How did it go, did you see Nathalie?”

Myles Sullivan brought in the chill from outside. Seeing his wife asking, the imposing aura on his face relaxed as he hummed in affirmation, ”Saw her, had a water with her.”

Ivy took off his coat from his hands, every move graceful and dignified, and looked up to ask him, ”What did Nathalie say? Is she willing to come back to Beijing with us?”

She spoke without avoiding anyone’s ears, and Jeff Quinlan, Emilia Sullivan, and Ghania Quinlan all heard her.

The Quinlan Family’s faces couldn’t hide their awkwardness.

Especially Emilia Sullivan, her face flushed red, instinctively tightening her fists, on the brink of losing her temper.

Luckily, Jeff Quinlan was quick to grasp her wrist, shaking his head at her with a disapproving look, and she barely managed to restrain herself, though her chest felt like it was on fire, not understanding why her younger brother had hurried out to meet someone who turned out to be Nathalie Quinlan!

Especially when Ghania was his own niece!
