Chapter 747: Chapter 223 Expansion of Colony_4

They flowed along the industrial buildings, gradually streaming from the base to the top of the structures.

All the industrial buildings and facilities were enveloped by these flowing metallic liquids while in operation, yet the liquids did not impact the functioning of these facilities in the slightest.

This process lasted approximately five minutes.

The metallic liquids either completely integrated into the industrial facilities or retreated entirely back into the warehouses.

As the metallic liquids disappeared, what appeared before everyone’s eyes was a new industrial colony, as if it had just been constructed.

Song Pu immediately expressed concern to Chen Ming: ”How much Spiritual Power did it consume? Do you need to rest for a while?”

”No need, it was just a repair. The real show is coming next.”

Chen Ming had just finished speaking.

Metallic liquid surged within the colony once more.

This time, it was not just a metallic flood.

It was a metallic tsunami engulfing the entire colony, surging directly from underground near the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower.

Like a metallic volcano erupting, the metallic liquid that submerged the entire colony gradually reached the edges of the colonized area.

Some of it seeped underground, while some formed on the ground.

Walls of steel rose outside the old colony, and towers of metal were erected within the new colony.

Sheets of industrial facilities emerged within the metallic liquid, with countless industrial robots connecting to the colony’s industrial network the moment they were fabricated by Chen Ming, activating the industrial facilities and operating with utmost efficiency from the start.

The expansion of the entire industrial colony more than doubled the area of the original colony.

Even by mere visual estimation, without precise measurement, the entire colony’s work efficiency increased by at least 1.5 times.

Area expansion and industrial efficiency increase do not have a one-to-one relationship.

With the expansion of area and the repair of certain original design flaws during this expansion, the improvement in efficiency was far greater than imagined.

Although this was not Chen Ming’s Spiritual Energy literally affecting the industrial colony in reality,

the effect of the simulated colony was enough to demonstrate the power of Chen Ming’s Spiritual Energy.

The colony that sprang up within just a few minutes left Cheng Xinghai, who had been by Chen Ming’s side, gazing at him with a trace of awe in her eyes.

Although she didn’t know much about Chen Ming, she was certain that Chen Ming must have done something similar before; otherwise, Bai Quan would not have allowed him to accomplish such things in the simulation.

Just a slight association with Bai Quan’s achievements in the Fourteenth Legion was enough.

Cheng Xinghai had no doubt that Dusk’s massive shipyard had, among the metallic tides, become something Chen Ming could wield.

Of course, Chen Ming wasn’t that excessive in reality; half of the massive shipyard remained under Dusk’s control, relying on the transmissibility of Spiritual Energy and the infiltration of many Dusk individuals to achieve his ultimate goal.

However, Cheng Xinghai wasn’t aware of this; she only knew that Chen Ming’s Spiritual Energy seemed to be on a different level of development than hers.

In her heart, the likelihood of defeating Chen Ming reduced once more, yet her competitive spirit remained undiminished.

If she could defeat Chen Ming in the simulation, that would be truly exhilarating and bring her joy.

Of course, for this simulation, she’d let it be; there would be a next time.

At the moment, Song Pu, watching the live broadcast, was momentarily frozen when the brand new steel city appeared.

If the next dozen or so colonies could undergo such massive expansion and increase in productivity,

even if the frontline was currently at a slight disadvantage, he might have the possibility to overpower the Government Army with sheer military force.

Thinking of this, Song Pu looked at Chen Ming’s figure in the live broadcast footage with an even more fervent gaze.
