Chapter 739: Chapter 221: Chen Ming’s Demand_4

As he spoke, he casually conjured a wheelchair beside him, signaling Cheng Xinghai to sit in it.

Cheng Xinghai slowly moved onto the wheelchair, lifted his head, and asked Chen Ming, ”Where to?”

”First to the hospital, then to see someone.”

Cheng Xinghai suddenly seemed a bit nervous, and asked again, ”Cheng Xinghe?”

”He’s not here.”

Cheng Xinghai appeared to relax.

Soon after, Chen Ming pushed Cheng Xinghai into the hospital attached to the Rebel Headquarters.

The doctor had several scars on his head, looking like someone who had been through a lot.

He didn’t even ask about the injury, and after a brief look, he simply sent a medical robot to handle it.

The robot removed the splint that Chen Ming had put on, took a new X-ray, and treated the injury again with more professional methods.

Finally, it suggested rest and hospitalization and then disappeared into the hospital corridor.

Chen Ming immediately chose to pull out his terminal and asked in the communication channel, ”Is there a hospital specifically for prisoners?”

Song Pu was still the first to respond to Chen Ming, ”There is, but I think Cheng Xinghai shouldn’t be left alone.”

”It’s better if you stay with Cheng Xinghai, your Spiritual Energy can effectively monitor her.”

”If you’re worried about Cheng Xinghai dying from her severe injuries on the way, I can send you a doctor or a medical robot to tend to her wounds.”

”Also, I’ve prepared a Cruiser for you. You can modify it a bit, and it should be fine to take one person with you.”

Chen Ming frowned, thought for a moment, and replied on the terminal, ”That wouldn’t be a problem.”

”Alright, make sure to keep Cheng Xinghai’s presence as hidden as possible, don’t let too many people know her location.”

”Why?”

”Because I have an idea. I’ll arrange for a substitute for Cheng Xinghai to go to the front line and stay alongside the general.”

”Then I’ll release this information, proactively act as bait to lure the other side into a trap.”

”With the general’s character and his relationship with Cheng Xinghai, doing such a thing seems very normal, it’s just a matter of whether the other side will fall for it.”

Dong Miao, who hadn’t said much, suddenly interjected, ”You just said the prisoner was useless.”

Song Pu bluntly said, ”Because I hadn’t thought of it before. Now that I have, it’s useful.”

This perfectly valid reason left Chen Ming at a loss for words.

At this moment.

Cheng Xinghai, sitting in the wheelchair beside Chen Ming, suddenly asked, ”Are you going to kill me to settle everything once and for all?”

Chen Ming’s previously frowning expression seemed bit evident.

However, Chen Ming had no such intention. If Cheng Xinghai were to die now, Song Pu’s arrangements would be for nothing, so Chen Ming replied, ”Not that far, at least you’re alive and can distract your teammates; killing you would bring no benefit.”

”Then what do you plan to do?”

”That’s something I can’t tell you.”

Chen Ming wasn’t foolish enough to reveal the entire plan to Cheng Xinghai, even though she was now completely constrained by him.

In Chen Ming’s mind, there are still plenty of movies and TV series where villains like to prematurely reveal their plans before everything is over, leading to a turnaround, so he definitely wouldn’t make such a mistake.

”By the way, I’m giving you something.”

Chen Ming’s hand approached Cheng Xinghai’s wrist, and the metal liquid flowing from his palm gradually formed into a lightweight wristband on her wrist.

Cheng Xinghai raised her hand, brought it in front of her eyes, and looked closely. It seemed to be just a wristband.
