Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 733: Chapter 220 Thoughts_2

At this moment, Bai Quan, who was serving as the judge, couldn’t help but smile.

He could see the situation of everyone present at any time, so naturally, he could see Chen Ming’s actions.

But he certainly wouldn’t actively sabotage such a scene that he was quite happy to see.

Therefore, Bai Quan just said on the communication channel with his Psychic friend who had the same judging authority: ”Not here.”

He chose to continue enjoying the fun.

Chen Ming waited for half a day without getting a response from Bai Quan, and sighed slightly. It seemed that he would have to handle this problem himself.

Chen Ming walked up to Cheng Xinghai, squatted slightly, picked up the splint and bandages from the ground that hadn’t been moved, along with the spray for treating bruises, and waved them in front of Cheng Xinghai, asking, ”Can you treat yourself?”

Cheng Xinghai slightly raised her head, her eyes somewhat obscured by her hair, looked at Chen Ming’s face for a while, and shook her handcuffs.

Chen Ming thought for a moment and unlocked the handcuffs on her wrists.

Cheng Xinghai immediately burst into action, even though only one leg could move normally, it barely affected her speed. In an instant, she threw a punch at Chen Ming’s temple.

Then there was a sound of flesh and metal collision, followed by a slight cracking sound of bone.

Cheng Xinghai’s eyes reddened, and her right hand twitched involuntarily as she sat back in the corner she had just squatted in.

Chen Ming was no fool; when he unlocked Cheng Xinghai’s handcuffs, he was certainly prepared to don another set of Power Armor.

But he really didn’t expect Cheng Xinghai to be so stubborn, playing this way knowing he must be on guard.

It was clear that Cheng Xinghai’s right hand was already stiff and motionless, with large bruises on the back of her knuckles.

Having just personally experienced how real the pain felt in the simulation, Chen Ming sighed, grabbing Cheng Xinghai’s hand.

Chen Ming had only learned a bit of simple medical skills by copying a doctor’s terminal when he was on Rimu Star.

Although he had learned the blueprints for medical robots and could build them, he couldn’t produce the chip with the necessary medical data inputted.

So, he could only roughly reposition the broken bone in Cheng Xinghai’s hand and found some things in the warehouse that could be used as a splint.

However, when doing the final delicate work, the hand structure of the Power Armor was a bit too clumsy.

Chen Ming glanced at Cheng Xinghai’s lowered head, thought for a moment, and disarmed the Power Armor on him again.

This time, Cheng Xinghai didn’t hit Chen Ming, obediently letting him apply the splint.

Yet, just as Chen Ming was fixing the splint tightly with a bandage, Cheng Xinghai’s left hand again swung towards Chen Ming’s temple.

Ultimately, it was another punch hitting the helmet of the Power Armor.

Besides leaving more bruises on her fist and gradually wetting her eyes, it had no effect.

”You’re really not afraid of pain, are you? Do you just want to bet that my reaction speed can’t keep up with yours?”

Chen Ming felt a bit helpless at this point. After all, she was a prisoner; he couldn’t really let Cheng Xinghai kill him.

Chen Ming tightened the bandage that had just come loose and secured the splint on the injured hand before spraying some medication over it.

Then he grabbed Cheng Xinghai’s other hand and continued with the previous steps of applying medicine and a splint.

After Cheng Xinghai’s hand was dealt with, Chen Ming looked at her right leg, which had just kicked him in the neck, and said, ”What about the injury on your foot?”

Cheng Xinghai raised her two injured hands, clearly unable to apply medicine and a splint on her own.

Chen Ming exhaled.

”Sorry about this.”

He reached out and pulled up the leg of Cheng Xinghai’s sports pants, took off her sports shoes and socks, revealing the fair skin of her calf, which didn’t seem to have been much exposed to harsh elements.

Moreover, those slender arms and legs didn’t look like they belonged to someone who could have just kicked Chen Ming to death.

But Chen Ming wouldn’t be deceived by appearances.

He only trusted the explosive power and speed he had just personally experienced from Cheng Xinghai.

And what he now saw with his own eyes — the fractures, bruises, and swelling on Cheng Xinghai’s foot and ankle due to her previous kick, and the unnatural angle of about thirty degrees in the limb.

The force causing this injury was the strongest that Cheng Xinghai’s seemingly frail body could muster.

It was clear that if this injury wasn’t treated and allowed to worsen, she certainly wouldn’t survive.

Thus, Chen Ming built an ice maker on the ship, found some ice, and temporarily applied an ice pack to Cheng Xinghai’s ankle.

At the same time, he manually constructed an X-ray machine and took a rough scan of her injury.

Then Chen Ming directly used the traditional methods he had learned from the doctor’s terminal: first re-aligning the broken bones.

When Chen Ming held Cheng Xinghai’s ankle, Cheng Xinghai’s body instinctively trembled, her gaze lingering on Chen Ming’s face.

Besides the pain-induced reaction, there was another reason.

At this moment, Cheng Xinghai was recalling the past.

After hearing about Chen Ming, she had voluntarily brought it up with Bai Quan, suggesting that she seek out Chen Ming for a simulated battle.

Bai Quan’s attitude was entirely different from when he discovered any other males close to Cheng Xinghai’s age interacting with her before.

Perhaps at that first moment, her mind was fully occupied with the desire to beat Chen Ming, who had defeated Cheng Xinghe, so she could later mock Cheng Xinghe, thus missing the difference.
