After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 195: Chapter 196: I Miss You a Little [5]

She still hadn’t paid back the money for the clothes she bought last time, this time she truly couldn’t go into debt with him anymore.

Otherwise, she would really become unable to repay him!

”Don’t believe me, then forget it!”

She let go of him, turned around, pushed the car, and left.

Perhaps, it was he who was too sensitive!

Leng Zimo took steps to come over, catching up with her by her side.

Back at the villa, she made scrambled eggs and milk and then helped him prepare his luggage. Luo Xiaoqian carefully saw Leng Zimo off to the car, watching the rear lights of his car disappear at the turn before skipping back to the villa.

After tidying up the kitchen and calling Yu Tong to say she was practicing at home, she went straight into the piano room to begin her vocal practice.

...

...

For two consecutive days, Luo Xiaoqian did stay at the villa obediently, going to the supermarket just once to buy groceries; apart from morning exercises, she spent each day practicing in the villa.

Even though Leng Zimo was overseas, he still called every morning to supervise her practice, and in the evening when he had time, he would even ask her to sing a cappella to check her practice outcomes.

On the third morning, as usual, he called.

”I’m already up and preparing to go for my morning exercise!” Luo Xiaoqian, who had already finished warming up, replied with a slight gasp.

”Good, remember to have your stitches removed. I’ve already called Xiao Ding, he will pick you up in an hour!” Leng Zimo’s voice, despite the distance, carried a hint of fatigue, and he even coughed midway through his sentence.

He actually remembered the matter about removing the stitches!

Luo Xiaoqian felt a warmth in her heart. Hearing him cough on the other end of the line, she instinctively asked, ”Do you have a cold?”

”No!” Leng Zimo answered indifferently.

”That’s good, take care of your health!”

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone.

Just as Luo Xiaoqian wondered if he had already hung up, Leng Zimo’s voice rose again.

”Do you miss me?”

Miss you, my foot!

Luo Xiaoqian curled her lip, ”I need to go cycling, otherwise, I’ll be late!”

On the other end of the phone.

Cannes, Martinez Hotel, France.

Leng Zimo stood on the balcony of his room, watching the Mediterranean Sea in the night.

Off in the distance at the seaside, someone was setting off fireworks, which looked particularly resplendent against the dark night.

”Somebody is setting off fireworks!” Leng Zimo watched the fireworks dissipate in the air, a hint of loneliness in his dark eyes, ”Luo Xiaoqian, I miss you a bit!”

With so many beauties at the film festival and his status, he could just snap his fingers and have someone eager to jump into his bed; did he even have the time to miss her?!

Luo Xiaoqian curled her lip again, ”I’m hanging up!”

And then, she actually hung up.

However, in less than three seconds, his call came through again.

”You dare hang up my call?”

Despite the signal, she could still feel his anger.

”It wasn’t me; the line got cut, the line got cut!” Luo Xiaoqian busily explained, ”I was just about to call you back!”

Leng Zimo’s tone softened slightly, ”Say that you miss me!”

Did this man really have to be so vain?!

”I miss you, I miss you so much; I’ve been so restless I couldn’t sleep all night, that’s why I got up early to exercise. Are you satisfied with that?”

”Remove the last three sentences and say it again!”

Luo Xiaoqian felt an impulse to throw her phone; come on, she had to pay for international calls too, alright?

”Leng Zimo, is there no end with you? I miss you, I’m dying to see you, I miss you so much it’s killing me!”
