After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 176: Chapter 177 Feeling Very Happy [9]

These were exactly the content of the two people that Luo Xiaoqian had secretly photographed in the hotel that day. As she flipped through the photos and saw a joint photo of them, her finger paused. She picked up her laptop and walked into the study and directly printed out that photo on photo paper.

...

...

The next day, Luo Xiaoqian woke up late.

Looking at the wristwatch pointing to ten o’clock, she glanced to her side and saw that Leng Zimo wasn’t there, and only then did she breathe a sigh of relief. She got up, went into the bathroom to quickly wash up and shower, and then came downstairs dressed, only to see him coming out of the kitchen. Upon seeing her, he immediately spoke up.

”Come here, eat!”

He didn’t go to work?

Suppressing the surprise in her heart, Luo Xiaoqian entered the kitchen and saw neatly arranged fried dumplings on the table and a few cold dishes.

”Did you make this?”

Looking at the dumplings on the table, fried to a golden brown, her surprise could no longer be concealed.

This young master actually knows how to cook?!

”I often cooked for myself while studying abroad!” Leng Zimo casually untied the apron from his body, ”Sit down. After we eat, I’ll take you to change your dressing!”

Luo Xiaoqian sat down in a chair and accepted the fork he handed over to her.

She was quite familiar with his past. At fifteen, Leng Zimo was already a globally known prodigy. It was then that his mother passed away, and he left his soaring career to study abroad.

To everyone’s surprise, it wasn’t music he studied, but business management.

Back then, everyone thought that signified the end of the young man’s career, but who would have thought that four years later, at nineteen, Leng Zimo would make a powerful comeback? He started from scratch and built the Emperor View Entertainment Company.

In just a few years, he led Emperor View to achieve its current success, this man was truly a legend.

Yet Luo Xiaoqian had never imagined that someone like him would cook his own meals.

Luo Xiaoqian took a bite of the fried dumpling. The skin was crispy, the filling savory, the taste extraordinary!

He could write songs, play the piano, act... and he was also an outstanding leader. This man didn’t just know how to cook, but also made it so delicious?!

A man like that, if he happened to fall in love with someone and she got to marry him, she surely would...

Across from her, Leng Zimo also sat down on a chair.

”How is it?”

”Very happy!”

Out of nowhere, she unwittingly voiced the thoughts she had in her mind.

As soon as she said it, she realized her slip of the tongue.

”I mean... having a delicious breakfast as soon as you get up in the morning... feels very happy...”

Anxious that he might see through her thoughts, she hurried to explain.

”Really?” Leng Zimo’s eyes curved upward in a smile.

Watching his expression, Luo Xiaoqian wanted to cry without tears; it seemed like the more she explained, the worse it got!

”I mean... I mean...”

”Stop talking and eat!” Leng Zimo added a bit of vinegar to her plate, ”If time permits in the future, I will often cook for you!”

He would often cook for her?

Luo Xiaoqian covertly lifted her face to look at Leng Zimo across from her, only to see him smiling at her with a pleased expression.

Amid the sunlight streaming in through the generous window, his smile seemed even brighter than the sunlight itself.

Just like the smiling face in her memories.

Her heart skipped a beat.

”Is there something on my face?” Leng Zimo asked, puzzled.

”No!” She hurriedly looked down at her plate to eat, putting an empty fork into her mouth, and biting down hard.
