After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 184: Chapter 185: Bare-faced on Camera [5]

For a newcomer, it’s not possible to receive such attention right away, to even have Xu Xiaoyang come to take her photographs.

”I know!” an assistant beside her blurted out, ”She’s a contestant from ’Huaxia Idol.’ I heard that during the finals, she cut her finger and made a bit of a scene by dropping out. It got pretty big, and later at a press conference, Emperor Leng even personally apologized to her. Now she’s blowing up online—I heard the song ’White Moonlight’ she performed at the finals has been downloaded over a hundred thousand times...”

”What do you know!” Zhu Ting glared at the junior assistant, ”I guess it’s just because the company sees Emperor Leng showing some appreciation for her that they arranged things this way. If she really had connections, why would they assign her a trainee as her manager?”

”Get me all the details, pronto!” Su Jin ordered.

”You can count on me!” Zhu Ting immediately assured, ”You must be tired after just getting off the plane. Why don’t you take a break?”

”I can’t sleep, forget about it. Let’s go shopping instead!”

”That’s a good idea. Let’s head to Xinguang Tiandi then. I’ve heard they’ve recently introduced several nice new brands!”

”Great!”

Mentioning shopping, Su Jin’s mood improved considerably.

Inside the photography studio.

Luo Xiaoqian, following Xu Xiaoyang’s instructions, changed into a sky blue dress, and immediately makeup artists and stylists approached to prepare to do her makeup.

”Don’t use any makeup products!” Xu Xiaoyang busily interjected to stop them.

Not to use makeup and go directly on camera?!

Everyone, including Luo Xiaoqian, lifted their faces in surprise.

”My skin can handle this?” Luo Xiaoqian asked, somewhat insecure.

”If you dare to go bare-faced in everyday life, why should you wear makeup for the camera? Do you like facing others with a mask?” Xu Xiaoyang asked with a smile.

Luo Xiaoqian stood up from in front of the makeup table, ”Of course not!”

”That’s good!” Xu Xiaoyang gestured towards the camera, ”Let’s begin!”

Standing in front of the camera, Luo Xiaoqian was initially unsure where to put her hands and feet.

This was her first time posing for an official photo shoot. Xu Xiaoyang wasn’t in a hurry; he slowly adjusted the aperture and chatted with her, capturing all her subtle expressions while she talked.

The two of them chatted about everything under the sun. With Xu Xiaoyang’s guidance, Luo Xiaoqian naturally talked about her childhood, her dreams, her future... Her facial expressions varied from nostalgic to innocent to yearning, while Xu Xiaoyang imperceptibly captured all her images in his camera.

After the no-makeup shoot, Xu Xiaoyang had her try out various styles.

He then discovered that the girl had a strong potential for transformation, and despite this adaptability, she never lost her own unique aura in different styles.

Such a photo shoot was an extremely pleasant job for Xu Xiaoyang.

As for Luo Xiaoqian, she gradually grew more comfortable expressing herself naturally in front of the camera, becoming more and more relaxed.

Emperor View Building’s Top Floor.

The President’s office.

Leng Zimo walked out of the resting room; Ailin had already prepared coffee for him.

He and all his subordinates worked overtime until dawn on a project plan, and he had only managed to get two or three hours of sleep in the resting room.

”Has the document been sent?” he asked, sipping his coffee.

”I’ve checked it thoroughly; it’s been sent to the United States. The dishwasher matter has also been sorted, and someone has been dispatched to install it; it should be done by noon,” Ailin stated, standing at the desk. ”Is there anything else you need?”
