After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 180: Chapter 181: Do You Understand the Rules?【1】

The young girl sized her up with her eyes, ”Are you... Luo Xiaoqian?”

Luo Xiaoqian took off her large sunglasses and returned a brilliant smile, ”Hello, I’m Luo Xiaoqian!”

”I’m Yu Tong!” The young girl extended her hand, and they shook hands, ”Please take good care of me in the future!”

”It’s I who should be asking you to take good care of me!” Luo Xiaoqian smiled, ”I’ll be honest with you; this is my first time releasing a single, and I don’t know anything.”

Yu Tong’s face flushed slightly, ”Actually, I am an intern manager!”

An intern manager is just like an entertainment intern; both are newcomers without any experience.

Because Luo Xiaoqian wanted a fair game, Leng Zimo didn’t give any special instructions, and Ailin was busy with ”Huaxia Idol” matters, so she handed the matter straight to her assistant.

Even though Luo Xiaoqian seemed quite popular at the moment, within Emperor View Group, she was still merely a newcomer, naturally not qualifying for a top-notch manager.

If it wasn’t for her currently having a certain value, sharing a manager with other singers might have been a possibility.

Luo Xiaoqian was no fool and certainly understood what having an intern manager meant.

A seasoned manager would help an artist manage all her affairs and work schedule; having a novice assistant meant she had to put in more effort herself.

But she didn’t show any signs of disappointment on her face.

”No worries, let’s work hard together!”

”Yes!” Yu Tong’s eyes were full of gratitude, ”Xiao Qian, I promise you, I’ll do my very best to help you!”

After all, Luo Xiaoqian was already making quite a splash at the time. Yu Tong herself felt that as a newcomer, she wasn’t qualified to be her manager. She had been somewhat worried Luo Xiaoqian would be unhappy with the arrangement, but she hadn’t expected her to be so accommodating and trusting, which greatly boosted Yu Tong’s confidence.

The two young newcomers clasped hands once again, no longer out of mere politeness but in a united effort as they were in the same boat now.

Letting go of each other’s hands, they walked towards the elevator together. Luo Xiaoqian curiously inquired, ”What’s the schedule for today?”

”The company has arranged for your single, but I heard the lyrics are not yet in place; it might take a couple of days. Recently, the company might distribute some of your photos to the media. For today, we’ll start with a photoshoot, then you can attend some newcomer training at the company, similar to the training you had at EM. Once the single is ready, you’ll probably start recording the song!”

The two of them had unknowingly arrived not far from the elevator.

”Wait a second!”

Seeing that the elevator doors were about to close, Luo Xiaoqian hurried and stepped forward two paces, extending an arm to hold the elevator door, prompting it to open again.

Seeing the people in the elevator, Yu Tong hastily pulled her back.

”Xiao Qian, let’s take the next one!”

”Isn’t this one not full yet?”

But Luo Xiaoqian had already stepped into the elevator ahead of Yu Tong, who pursed her lips and reluctantly followed her in.

”Which floor are we heading to?” Luo Xiaoqian asked, turning her head to look at Yu Tong.

”Do you not know the rules?” Before Yu Tong could answer, someone behind them questioned loudly, ”Didn’t you see Miss Su in the elevator?”

Rules?

What rules?!

Luo Xiaoqian turned her head in confusion; she hadn’t paid close attention when she entered in a rush.

In the elevator, besides her and Yu Tong, there were six other people.
