After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 178: Chapter 179: You! [11]

”It’s like this, regarding the incident of your injury, the company has delegated full authority to me to handle the matter. I’d like to ask, what are your thoughts about Shen Xinyi? What I mean is, what kind of judgment do you hope for? I will do my best to fulfill your wish!” Sandy said on the other end of the phone.

Luo Xiaoqian hesitated somewhat.

To be honest, she held a strong dislike for Shen Xinyi, but she didn’t really want to do anything to her.

After all, Shen Xinyi was just a girl around twenty years old, just like her. If she really pursued the matter this time, with Leng Zimo’s power, he could certainly ruin her for life.

But what meaning would such a result hold for her?

Her wounds would heal soon, and if she were to hold onto Shen Xinyi and cause her to have a criminal record, it would ruin the girl’s life.

After some thought, Luo Xiaoqian finally spoke up, ”Forget it, let her have a lesson, I... I don’t want to initiate a lawsuit!”

”Are you sure?” Sandy’s voice was filled with surprise.

”Sure!”

”All right then, I’ll get on it right away. If there’s anything you need, you can contact me at any time. Our legal department exists for the welfare of the company’s artists!”

”Thank you!”

After hanging up the phone, Luo Xiaoqian let out a long sigh and lifted her face, only to see Shen Yizhou and Leng Zimo both watching her.

Shen Yizhou had a smile on his face, but Leng Zimo looked livid.

After what Shen Xinyi had done, Leng Zimo had decided to make her pay dearly this time, but she, she actually said she wouldn’t sue.

This fool, was she naturally inclined to letting people bully her?!

Meeting Leng Zimo’s gaze, Luo Xiaoqian busily lowered her face.

”What are you glaring for!” Shen Yizhou stood up, packing the remaining materials on the table into a box, ”I support Xiao Qian’s decision. Later, I also talked to Tong Ya about it. Shen Xinyi is still just a kid, impulsive and straying onto the wrong path. There’s no need to completely destroy her!”

Fixing the bandage on Xiao Qian’s finger, he released her finger with a smile.

”Xiao Qian, I’ll always support you, don’t mind that block of ice!”

Luo Xiaoqian lifted her face and gave him a smile in return. Meeting Leng Zimo’s gloomy gaze, she immediately lowered her brows and feigned the obedient look of a primary school student.

Looking down at her expression, Leng Zimo bit his teeth, but in the end, he managed to control his urge to explode.

”Let’s go!”

Not daring to provoke him any further, Luo Xiaoqian quickly stood up and followed him toward the door.

”Hey, President Leng, you haven’t paid the medical bill yet!” Shen Yizhou said with a laugh as he saw them out.

Leng Zimo acted as if he hadn’t heard, while Luo Xiaoqian thanked him and hurriedly followed Zimo.

Descending the staircase and getting into the car, Leng Zimo remained silent.

Luo Xiaoqian sat in the passenger seat and glanced at his profile.

”What would you like to eat tonight?”

She was well aware that he was standing up for her, so she wanted to improve the somewhat tense atmosphere between them as much as possible.

Leng Zimo turned his face to look at her smiling little face, his mouth twitching, and then he uttered one word.

”You!”

”Pervert!”

She muttered softly and then turned to look out the car window, ignoring him.

Really, what a thankless response, considering she was trying hard to ease the tension.

Despite her murmur, her mind inadvertently drifted back to the events of the previous night, causing her heart to race and her cheeks to flush again.

Watching her turn rosy, Leng Zimo, who had been brooding, finally began to brighten up as well.
