After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 193: Chapter 194 What’s Going On Here?! [3]

What’s this all about?!

Leng Zimo glanced at his wristwatch, ”6:10 AM!”

6:10 AM?

Had this guy lost his mind?

She certainly didn’t have his energy, to be up and about so early after last night’s activities.

She wanted to sleep, to sleep!

Giving him a look of utter contempt, she flopped back onto the bed and curled up again.

Leng Zimo raised an eyebrow, reached out to pull the blanket, and ended up dragging her along with it.

Watching her try to burrow back into the blanket, he simply bent over and whispered in her ear.

”You have three minutes, either get up, or I’ll sleep with you!”

Luo Xiaoqian instantly went from groggy to alert and sat up hastily.

”I’m up, I’m up!”

Leng Zimo’s lips curled into a satisfied smile as he looked at her slim back exposed outside the blanket. He couldn’t help but lean in, gave a gentle bite on her shoulder, and casually placed her workout clothes on her knees.

”You now have 2 minutes and 55 seconds!”

Then, he stood up and walked out.

Luo Xiaoqian hurriedly put on her clothes and was still combing her hair with her fingers as she ran downstairs.

Downstairs, Leng Zimo was dressed in a pale grey tracksuit, standing outside the door waiting for her.

”Why so early, where are we going?”

Rubbing her eyes as she came over, Luo Xiaoqian asked while changing her shoes.

Leng Zimo replied with just two words.

”Cycling!”

Luo Xiaoqian straightened up, full of grievances. She thought there was something important, but instead, he got her up at six in the morning for a bike ride. Was this man finding a new way to torture her?

Leng Zimo noted her expression, and his face darkened slightly.

”Hurry up!”

Alright then, she’d rather run than be bullied by him in bed.

After tying her shoelaces, Luo Xiaoqian stepped down the stairs and pushed the bicycle by the door to ride it.

”Idiot!” Leng Zimo grabbed her arm, ”Who said you could ride?!”

”Didn’t you say cycling?”

Luo Xiaoqian turned around, looking utterly confused. He was the one who told her to ride, and he was also the one pulling her back. What exactly was he trying to do?!

Leng Zimo didn’t say a word, just stretched out his arms and legs to warm up.

Luo Xiaoqian had a flash of insight and started to mimic him.

In the morning light, the man in the simplest grey tracksuit still looked strikingly handsome.

After warming up, Leng Zimo then gestured towards the bicycle near the door.

”Start!” Once Luo Xiaoqian mounted the bike, he came up on the path beside her, riding alongside, ”Focus on controlling your breathing, get your breath sorted first, then sing that song!”

He wanted her to sing while cycling?!

Seeing her just staring at him, Leng Zimo spoke up in a deep voice.

”Start!”

Her voice was undeniably the one he was most optimistic about, bass rich, treble bright, pleasing to the ear and distinctive. Such a voice quality was indeed rare, but having a good voice alone wasn’t enough, singing technique was still very important.

Luo Xiaoqian was quick-witted. With just a bit of his guidance, she could grasp the concept, but breath control and lung capacity weren’t things that could be attained through quick-wittedness alone. They required scientific training and time to develop.

For someone with Xiao Qian’s physical stamina, it was not just a concert that would be challenging—even a lively song and dance performance on stage would likely be difficult.

In order for her to handle the varied work to come, Leng Zimo had already decided to systematically train Luo Xiaoqian.

...

Well then, it seems I’m still living on United States time
