After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 183: Chapter 184: What’s the Background【4】

”Long time no see!” Xu Xiaoyang returned her smile, ”But, the person I’m here to shoot today doesn’t seem to be you!”

Su Jin’s face momentarily showed a change, but she quickly regained her composure, ”How is that possible, didn’t they notify you to come to Studio No.1?!”

As she spoke, staff had already started to push in the clothing racks.

On the two racks, clothes and various corresponding shoes, accessories, hats, and so on were densely hung...

”Look!” Su Jin said with a smile, pointing at the clothing racks, ”Even the clothes are ready, I know, you must be joking with me, Teacher Xu, you’ve become more and more humorous.”

”I never joke about work!” Xu Xiaoyang shrugged his shoulders, looking towards Luo Xiaoqian, ”These clothes are all prepared for her!”

All the people around followed his gaze and then their eyes uniformly landed on Luo Xiaoqian.

Luo Xiaoqian looked at both the crowd and Xu Xiaoyang, then raised a hand to point to her own nose, ”You mean... me?!”

”Yes!” Xu Xiaoyang smiled warmly, ”Aren’t you called Luo Xiaoqian? I made sure to diligently study your videos yesterday, I think, with my eye for talent, I couldn’t possibly recognize the wrong person, today, I’m here to photograph you!”

The situation suddenly reversed.

Su Jin finally couldn’t contain the change on her face.

Xu Xiaoyang was always a person of temperament, only accepting to photograph those he found intriguing; even as a special photographer for the Emperor View Group, he never gave the green light to someone he didn’t wish to photograph.

Su Jin originally thought everything was prepared for herself, only to find out it was all a misunderstanding, and as a big-name star, she now had to vacate the photography studio for a nobody like Luo Xiaoqian.

In her eyes, this was nothing short of an insult.

True to her reputation as an actress, Su Jin quickly masked her emotions, pretending to have just recalled something, ”Ah, I just remembered, I have a meeting with a director to talk about a play at noon, Zhu Zi, let’s go!”

She took steps toward the door, while Luo Xiaoqian hurried to catch up.

”Miss Su, please wait a moment!” Grabbing Su Jin’s arm, Luo Xiaoqian looked again at Xu Xiaoyang, ”Teacher Xu, why don’t you double-check? Maybe the company wants you to photograph both of us?”

”These clothes are all chosen by me for you, they’re not suited for Miss Su at all, moreover, I’m very familiar with my job, I definitely won’t make a mistake!” Xu Xiaoyang glanced at the arm Su Jin was being grabbed by, having seen many people in his years in the entertainment circle, Xu Xiaoyang was very clear about what Su Jin was thinking right now, ”Since Miss Su has another appointment, we shouldn’t delay her, should we?”

”Oh!” Luo Xiaoqian hurriedly released her fingers, ”I’m sorry!”

Su Jin took a deep breath to suppress the surging anger in her chest.

How could she believe that Luo Xiaoqian’s behavior was entirely sincere? Naturally, she just assumed the young girl was deliberately showing off.

”It’s okay, junior sister, have a good shoot, I’ll be leaving now!”

While she wished inside to push Luo Xiaoqian aside, her face still maintained a smile as she turned and walked towards the large door of the photography studio.

Behind her, the assistant and bodyguard were busy catching up, carrying big and small bags.

Once on the elevator, Su Jin finally let go of the calm smiling mask on her face, clenching her teeth darkly.

”What’s the background of that Luo Xiaoqian?”
