Chapter 1244: Chapter 1245 Deeper Love

Xiao Changyi was finally satisfied.

”My dear, then wait for me, I will re-register the list and sort out the real list of new recruits.”

”Okay.”

After An Jing finished registering the list, she took the training plan for the new recruits and then returned to the Imperial Capital with Xiao Changyi.

The two were riding on the same horse, Xiao Changyi sitting behind, with An Jing in front, clearly, An Jing was held in Xiao Changyi’s arms.

On the way, An Jing kept telling Xiao Changyi everything that had happened from yesterday to today, and Xiao Changyi listened patiently.

Occasionally, the two would even share a kiss.

A day apart, what grew between them was not strangeness, but longing and deeper love for each other.

Upon entering the palace, An Jing went to look for Su Chengyu to discuss the new recruits, and Su Chengyu was surprised and delighted to see his royal sister on the list.

An Jing knew how Su Chengyu assessed, so Su Chengyu never thought Su Chengyuan could stick it out, but unexpectedly, Su Chengyuan really became a soldier.

”I really didn’t expect, Chengyuan actually...” Su Chengyu was especially happy. He always thought his royal sister couldn’t endure hardships and tire, and he also didn’t want her to suffer, but now, he was truly impressed.

An Jing smiled: ”She is competent, she challenged me and even said she must become a good soldier for me.”

”Sister-in-law, don’t take it personally with her, she’s just spoiled and still acts like a child. The military camp is a serious place, it cannot tolerate her mischief. Sister-in-law, being strict and impartial is right, when she returns, I will talk to her.”

An Jing was not bothered at all: ”There’s nothing to talk about, over time, she will naturally understand what needs to be done in my position. But you mentioned when she returns, I guess it won’t be possible in the coming months, she needs to train in the military camp, she can only return to the palace once in at least six months.”

”That long...”

Seeing Su Chengyu looking like he wanted to make an exception for Su Chengyuan to visit the palace more often, An Jing immediately called out, ”Emperor.”

”Alright, alright, sister-in-law, don’t call me that, I understand, the training of new recruits is no child’s play, other new recruits also haven’t been home to see their families for half a year, a year, or even many years, I get it. It’s just that Chengyuan is my sister, and I miss her as her brother.” She was his most beloved sister after all.

”Which new recruit’s family in the military camp doesn’t miss them? Chengyu, as the Emperor, you need to control yourself more, understand what should and shouldn’t be done.”

”Understanding is one thing, but doing is another thing, but don’t worry sister-in-law, I will try my best to be a good Emperor.”

An Jing also knew people have their emotions, especially considering that Su Chengyuan was his most beloved sister, so An Jing understood Su Chengyu’s feelings at the moment.

And she had said all that she should say, then An Jing didn’t say anything more, she just showed Su Chengyu the training plan for the new recruits.

There were some modern terms on the plan that Su Chengyu didn’t understand, An Jing carefully explained what each training item was and what it aimed to train, not only did Su Chengyu’s eyes brighten, but even Xiao Changyi, who was sitting aside drinking tea, also showed a keen interest.

After listening to An Jing’s explanation of the training plan, Su Chengyu praised: ”Sister-in-law, you and your sister-in-law really are as capable as those generals in the military camp, those generals have never thought of such methods to train people.”
