Berserk God of War

Chapter 550: Chapter 550: The So-Called Spirit Platform Initial Appearance

How many people yearn to advance crazily on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List.

The higher the rank, the more famous one becomes, enabling one to receive various courtesies from different powers and a continuous supply of cultivation resources...

Yet Sikong Jing actually said he didn’t want to enter the top hundred?

Taking another deep breath, Sikong Jing replied, ”No reason; I just don’t want to be too conspicuous.”

In truth, Sikong Jing did not want his sister, Sikong Ling, to see his name.

Even if Mo Ci and the Wangyou Sect went to great lengths to prevent his sister from noticing, once he entered the top hundred, the chances of being seen would increase significantly.

Therefore, Sikong Jing temporarily could not enter the top hundred; that was the reason he could not disclose.

However, upon hearing his words, those around him could not help but twitch at the corners of their mouths... Surely Sikong Jing wanted to play the pig to eat the tiger, as once he entered the top hundred, his enemies would take him more seriously, making it much harder for him to feign weakness again.

And Hua Lidian believed it to be true...

He firmly shook his head and refused, saying, ”Sorry, I cannot agree to this... It’s the rule of Overlord Commerce.”

In an instant, Sikong Jing’s expression darkened.

No one, not even if heaven and earth were to shatter, could allow his sister to be harmed in any way.

”Brother Sikong, do you know? I faced tremendous pressure with this month’s new list,” Hua Lidian said.

Before Sikong Jing could speak, Hua Lidian began to explain.

”I did not witness your battle with Lu Ding firsthand, nor did I record it. I only found out about it... so when I proposed to place you at the 420th rank, many opposed it,” he said.

”Now, there are people waiting to laugh at me, ready to ridicule,” Hua Lidian added.

”But, as long as this Yellow Jade Tablet crashes down, I can firmly slap their faces,” he asserted.

This was why Hua Lidian was excited upon seeing Sikong Jing’s performance.

Many within Overlord Commerce believed it was impossible for Sikong Jing, no matter how talented, to rush to the 420th rank within a month, yet Hua Lidian insisted he had achieved it.

Because there was definite evidence that he had defeated Lu Ding with his own hands.

In the end, the higher-ups of Overlord Commerce accepted Hua Lidian’s proposal, causing some to feel uncomfortable.

Sikong Jing’s performance now proved that Hua Lidian was right.

But what did that have to do with Sikong Jing? He simply did not want his rank to be too high, but snatching the Yellow Jade Tablet from Hua Lidian’s hands was impossible; Hua Lidian’s Martial Arts Realm was known to be unimaginably fearsome without even having to try it out.

”Brother Sikong, no matter the reason, I cannot agree to your request,” Hua Lidian said.

”Otherwise, I too would be punished. I’m really sorry,” he apologized.

Hua Lidian cupped his fists, about to take back the Yellow Jade Tablet...

However, at this moment, Sikong Jing suddenly gave a slight smile and said, ”Mr. Hua, I wonder if I could take a look at that Yellow Jade Tablet? I’ve never had the chance to handle one, and I’m quite curious.”

Hua Lidian was stunned then chuckled wryly, ”Brother Sikong, you really are tenacious in your desire to play the pig to eat the tiger, aren’t you?”

”You want to destroy the Yellow Jade Tablet, don’t you?” he asked mockingly.

”Haha, the Green Jade Stone is so rubbish no one wants it, but the Yellow Jade Stone is completely different. It requires the opening of the Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness for it to be recorded, and it is absolutely indestructible by you,” Hua Lidian laughed.

After saying that, Hua Lidian, without a care, handed the Yellow Jade Tablet over to Sikong Jing, with a heavily amused expression.

Since Sikong Jing couldn’t possibly destroy it, the gift was given.

And Hua Lidian’s words also suggested that he had opened the Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness, ranking him among the same level of powerhouses as Mo Ci, that is, the Reverse Soul Realm.

The terror of Overlord Commerce left Sikong Jing inwardly shaken.

But still, he calmly accepted the Yellow Jade Tablet and smiled back at Hua Lidian, saying, ”Mr. Hua, I once tested my Tenth-grade Full Martial Wisdom at the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace... What do you think comes after Tenth-grade Full Martial Wisdom?”

This question momentarily stunned Hua Lidian.

Before he could react, with a loud bang, the Yellow Jade Tablet in Sikong Jing’s hand suddenly shattered into fragments, breaking completely right before Hua Lidian’s eyes, the pieces falling to the ground.

This scene left the crowd dumbfounded as Sikong Jing actually destroyed the Yellow Jade Tablet.

How did he do that?

As Hua Lidian looked with incredulity, Sikong Jing explained, ”What’s stronger than Tenth-grade Full Martial Wisdom must be the Initial Appearance of the Spirit Platform, so I might not be able to inscribe on the Yellow Jade Stone, but I can destroy it.”

After speaking, he once again bowed his fists, saying, ”My apologies, Mr. Hua, I truly do not wish to be ranked in the top hundred of the Thousand Tyrant List.”

”But rest assured, you will be able to slap those who target you in the face, for in three days I will kill Peng Peng’s martial sister. By then, please rank me a bit over two hundred.”

A bit over two hundred, that’s a completely safe position, where his sister would not easily find out.

Thinking of this, Sikong Jing once again bowed his fists, ”When I truly can enter the top hundred, I will definitely invite Mr. Hua for a drink. At that time, I will bring my sister along to welcome you.”

After speaking, Sikong Jing bid farewell to Hua Lidian and returned to his cabin aboard the ship to rest.

On the deck, Hua Lidian looked at the ground covered with Yellow Jade fragments, his mouth twitching crazily, then he let out a bitter smile and said, ”I actually forgot about the Initial Appearance of the Spirit Platform. Such an aberration, Sikong Jing is simply a monster.”

He was now extremely shocked by Sikong Jing’s display, and he didn’t take to heart the latter’s emphasis on bringing his sister with him.

At that moment, someone nearby asked, ”Mr. Hua, what is the Initial Appearance of the Spirit Platform?”

Taking a deep breath, Hua Lidian replied gravely, ”It’s the first sensation of the Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness, an exceedingly mysterious and potent perception, representing a talent even more horrifying than Tenth-grade Full Martial Wisdom.”

”In plain terms...”

”Sikong Jing’s martial comprehension ability is far stronger than Tenth-grade Full Martial Wisdom, and someone who manifests the Initial Appearance of the Spirit Platform in the Daoist Martial Five Realms is very likely to have already opened their Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness below the Reverse Soul Realm.”

”In the East Plain Northern Land, the number of people who can open their Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness below the Reverse Soul Realm at this point doesn’t exceed the number of fingers on one hand.”

Hiss...

Hua Lidian’s explanation made those around him sharply inhale in shock.

Although they didn’t quite understand, they nonetheless grasped the last part... As long as Sikong Jing grows, he will become one of the top five powerhouses in the East Plain Northern Land!

It was simply too defying, and if possible, they wanted to cling to Sikong Jing’s coattails right now.

But what neither Hua Lidian nor anyone else knew was that Sikong Jing was not just at the Initial Appearance of the Spirit Platform, he had incredibly opened his own Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness...

But this, Sikong Jing would absolutely not reveal.

Being too dazzling would attract not only the recruitment of experts but also the malice of powerful villains who would kill if they couldn’t obtain what they wanted.

Regarding Sikong Jing’s destruction of the Yellow Jade Tablet, Hua Lidian wasn’t angry; for truly monstrous talents like Sikong Jing, characters like Hua Lidian were very magnanimous.

He was even looking forward to the moment when Sikong Jing would rise to fame!

Of course, after losing the proof of the Yellow Jade Tablet, if Hua Lidian dared claim that Sikong Jing could enter the top hundred, he probably would be cursed to high heaven by the people of Overlord Commerce...
