Berserk God of War

Chapter 508: Chapter 508: War Soul Dynasty, Challenge Letter

The man regretfully withdrew his gaze from Su Yuexi, then assessed Sikong Jing from head to toe.

The next moment, he lifted his head and retorted, ”You must be little apprentices guarding the entrance of the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace. Go report to Shen Qingye or Qin Heng and tell them that Lu Ding, a True Inheritor Student of the Holy Dragon General Academy, has arrived and demands immediate reception.”

On hearing this, a flash of cold light registered in Sikong Jing’s eyes. No wonder he rode a Demon Dragon adorned like a foolish tycoon.

So, he was from the Holy Dragon General Academy.

What was Lu Ding’s purpose for coming here?

However, Sikong Jing was too lazy to deal with the matter and casually muttered ”Oh” before pulling Su Yuexi towards the interior of the Holy Dragon Palace.

”Wait a second!”

Suddenly, Lu Ding called out and stared at Su Yuexi with a smirk, ”The male can go report; leave this beauty behind.”

As soon as these words were spoken, Sikong Jing’s expression chilled and he glared at Lu Ding, barely masking his murderous intent.

Nevertheless, Lu Ding spoke unabashedly, ”Boy, is this beauty your woman? Let her serve me while I stay in the Long Night Empire, and I’ll grant you a great opportunity.”

Since awakening her War Body, Su Yuexi had become more stunning in both appearance and aura, irresistibly alluring.

It was normal for her to attract the attention of men, and Lu Ding was attracted too, but he didn’t intend to pursue her. Instead, he assertively decreed that during his stay in the Long Night Empire, Su Yuexi should serve him.

He spoke as if it were his due, expecting Sikong Jing to comply.

Sikong Jing almost laughed out loud, only spitting out one word, ”Scram!”

Lu Ding, undisturbed by the response, indifferently continued, ”It seems you don’t know what this opportunity entails. First, as a True Inheritor Student of the Holy Dragon General Academy, I can recommend you for cultivation there.”

”Secondly, my surname is Lu... do you understand?”

To this, Sikong Jing just sneered repeatedly, insisting he scram no matter his surname.

”It seems you still don’t understand. I, Lu Ding, am the third prince of the War Soul Dynasty. Serving me would be an honor for your woman, and I can promise you endless wealth and glory. Do you understand now?”

With this statement, Sikong Jing was suddenly taken aback.

The third prince of the War Soul Dynasty brazenly appearing in the Long Night Imperial City—weren’t they mortal enemies of the Long Night Empire?

Noticing Sikong Jing’s confusion, Lu Ding burst out laughing, ”Do you think being a prince of the War Soul Dynasty, I’d be afraid to show up in the Long Night Imperial City? Ha ha, I’m also a True Inheritor Student of the Holy Dragon General Academy; who would dare touch me?”

”Now, hurry up and report while I keep your woman company for a chat and a little romance.”

With that, he gestured dismissively at Sikong Jing as if commanding a servant.

At this, Sikong Jing couldn’t help but laugh again.

”So, the third prince of the War Soul Dynasty, what an unexpected honor!”

As his words fell, Sikong Jing suddenly erupted with True Qi, instantly reaching the peak of the Xuantian Realm.

With a heavy stomp, he shot forward like a cannonball, landing directly atop the head of Lu Ding’s Emperor Dragon, standing tall as he locked eyes with the eerily close Lu Ding...

”However, whether you are a True Inheritor Student of the Holy Dragon General Academy or some damn prince, you are nothing in my eyes. Dare covet my woman, and you’ll leave your life here in the Long Night Empire.”

With that, Sikong Jing violently punched towards Lu Ding...

The latter was stunned, and before he could react, he was hit.

The entire person screamed, then flew off the back of the Emperor Dragon and smashed harshly into the ground.

But in the next instant, he jumped back up, his True Qi reaching the Daoist Martial Second Realm as he stared intently at Sikong Jing and asked, ”Peak of Xuantian Realm, are you Qin Heng’s son, Qin Lao?”

This realm was of course not that of a mere gatekeeping apprentice.

And in the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace, the only male student who had reached the Peak of Xuantian Realm was Qin Lao alone.

After the great battle between the Holy Dragon Palace and the Xingluo Palace, the Holy Dragon General Academy was well informed about the personnel and intelligence of the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace.

”I am Sikong Jing,” Sikong Jing slowly said these three words.

In an instant, Lu Ding slightly widened his eyes, then suddenly burst into a loud laugh, ”So it turns out, you are Sikong Jing, the genius of the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace who reached 698th place on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List with the Xuantian Five Realms. I heard you are quite badass.”

Hearing this, Sikong Jing shrugged and replied, ”Just average.”

He thought that his name must have already spread in the Holy Dragon General Academy.

Upon hearing this, Lu Ding chuckled and said, ”Hehe, you look average, your realm is average, your identity is average... but your methods are quite extraordinary, ruining the well-planned affairs of the Holy Dragon General Academy, and even killing Elder Feng Tingfu because of you.”

At this point, he adjusted the hair on his forehead and squinted his eyes, ”I’m here in Long Night Imperial City this time for two things, one is to present a war challenge to the Long Night Empire, and the other is to take you as my servant.”

”A war challenge?” Sikong Jing looked up slightly.

With a shrug, Lu Ding casually replied, ”Yes, my War Soul Dynasty is going to attack the Long Night Empire. However, this matter has nothing to do with you. If you kneel now and submit to me, I assure you a worry-free future in the Holy Dragon General Academy.”

Lu Ding was unaware that Sikong Jing was the first Commander of the Dark Wing Camp of the Long Night Black Burning Army, naturally feeling the war challenge did not concern him.

”Holy Dragon General Academy already commanded you to go and report, right?”

”However, because you single-handedly destroyed the academy’s plans and caused the death of Feng Tingfu, if you don’t have me as your backer, you’re going to die inexplicably in the academy.”

”So, the only way for you to save your life is to submit to me, do you understand?”

Lu Ding said all this in one breath... Obviously, he was well-informed about the Holy Dragon General Academy sending a letter to summon Qin Heng and Sikong Jing, so he was here to take Sikong Jing.

”You being on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List at Xuantian Five Realms is enough for you to submit to me.”

”Of course, your woman will belong to me too. I’ll return her to you when I tire of her, and that will be your honor.”

Having said that, Lu Ding looked towards Su Yuexi, unconsciously licking his lips.

Sikong Jing scoffed continuously and retorted, ”You seem to have forgotten my words just now, anyone who covets my woman must leave their life behind.”

At these words, Lu Ding was stunned, clearly not expecting Sikong Jing to dare to refuse.

In his view, Sikong Jing definitely would not dare to resist. As he said, going to the Holy Dragon General Academy without a backer would unquestionably lead to Sikong Jing’s death, and he did not think that the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace would dare to disobey the orders of the academy.

Lu Ding also did not know that Sikong Jing and Qin Heng had already decided to ignore the Holy Dragon General Academy.

Soon, Lu Ding also smiled, raising his eyebrows and said, ”Do you think you are strong because you reached 698th place on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List? That you can vie for a position in the Holy Dragon General Academy?”

”Haha, naive.”

”There are many Martial Arts geniuses in the academy with strength like yours, who just haven’t made a move yet and aren’t on the list.”

”While this prince has reached 481st place on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List, I don’t even rank in the top hundred in the Holy Dragon General Academy.”

These words slightly surprised Sikong Jing. He quickly came to terms with it, realizing indeed some of the True Inheritor Students had not made an external move, so they weren’t recorded by the Overlord Commerce...
