Berserk God of War

Chapter 525: Chapter 525: Beigong Captured

Lu Lungan’s mouth twitched slightly at those words, then he shouted loudly, ”Even if it was the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace that killed them, it was because of you that they died. Beigong Xianfeng, in this battle, I will ensure you come but never return.”

”Mutual feelings!” The momentum of Beigong Xianfeng was not at all weaker.

The looks in both men’s eyes continuously clashed in midair, as if lightning crazily flashed by, and then almost simultaneously, they turned, each to return to their respective cities. The great battle was about to begin.

However, just as Beigong Xianfeng turned, a stream of ice and snow light, quick to the extreme, flashed suddenly.

The next moment, the Ice Soul Cold Eagle appeared from within the stream of light, settling atop the immense avian mount of Beigong Xianfeng, and a voice, cold to the extreme, rang out, ”Beigong Xianfeng, where is Sikong Jing?”

Beigong Xianfeng was stunned at these words, as were Cao Yi and the other vice commanders...

Across from them, Lu Lungan, who had just turned, was similarly stunned, but then he quickly turned back around.

At that moment, Beigong Xianfeng finally saw the woman on the Ice Soul Cold Eagle and involuntarily whispered, ”Mo Ci!”

Suddenly, recalling Mo Ci’s questioning, his body shook violently, and he bellowed, ”Guards!”

”Wow...”

No sooner had the sound left his lips than Mo Ci swung out her palm fiercely, hitting Beigong Xianfeng squarely in the chest. He screamed as he was flung from his avian mount, crashing heavily to the ground.

Beigong Xianfeng landed amid the Youxue Plain situated between the two armies, raising plumes of dust.

The next instant, the icy stream of light pursued him.

The cold voice of Mo Ci sounded, ”This seat has suffered at the hands of the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace’s military power once before. I won’t suffer a second time.”

”Beigong Xianfeng, get up here.”

Having said that, Mo Ci, riding atop the Ice Soul Cold Eagle, dove into the billowing dust, lifted Beigong Xianfeng’s body, and then forcefully flung it onto the back of the Ice Soul Cold Eagle.

Then, with a flash of cold light, the Ice Soul Cold Eagle soared into the sky and sped toward the direction of the Long Night Empire.

All this was completed in the blink of an eye.

Whether it was the Long Night Empire or the War Soul Dynasty Army, everyone stood there dumbfounded, until the Ice Soul Cold Eagle was almost out of sight. Only then did Cao Yi snap to his senses and shouted loudly, ”Quick, loose arrows to intercept!”

He was completely bewildered, but they could not afford to lose the Beigong Commander now.

Otherwise, it would be dangerous, as the War Soul Dynasty and Lu Lungan would slaughter them all...

But the arrows were nowhere near as fast as Mo Ci and the Ice Soul Cold Eagle, and they missed completely. Just then, the aged voice of Beigong Xianfeng boomed, ”Everyone heed my command, appoint Cao Yi as the temporary commander. Don’t worry about me.”

”Did you hear me? Don’t worry about me. Long Night is the priority!”

His voice carried far and wide, yet the tens of millions of Long Night Soldiers still stood there, stunned, completely disoriented.

And whether they liked it or not, they could only watch as the Beigong Commander was captured.

On the side of the War Soul Dynasty, everyone was equally bewildered.

But at that moment, Lu Lungan suddenly let out a wild laugh, ”Hahaha, truly, heaven aids the War Soul Dynasty. Beigong Xianfeng has offended someone he should not have and was captured right before the battle.”

Following his voice, Cao Yi and the other vice commanders, whose thoughts were already in a turmoil, trembled violently.

They glared at Lu Lungan with bloodshot eyes, wondering what to do now.

The latter, however, suddenly stretched out three fingers and slowly said, ”Three days. Within three days, I will slaughter one million Long Night Soldiers, and I will take over the entire Youyuan Twelve States, hahaha!”

After speaking, Lu Lungan stared straight down at the tens of millions of War Soul Dynasty Soldiers below him and roared loudly, ”Beigong Xianfeng was captured by a powerful being. Now, all War Soul warriors heed my command and charge!”

”Kill them!”

Terrifying cries of slaughter soared into the sky among the War Soul Dynasty Army, their brutal aura surged forward to attack the Long Night Empire Army, and their morale skyrocketed... Haha, the Long Night Empire has lost its Commander!

In contrast, on the Long Night Empire’s side, both the Long Night Black Burning Army and the regular army were all at a loss.

The moment they lost their Commander, their hearts scattered and their battle intent vanished.

”Hear the command, fall back!”

Cao Yi’s eyes were filled with madness as he kept issuing orders to all his troops.

They must hold their ground now, or else, it’s not about three days, they might not even withstand one day or even two hours, he crazily shouted, ”Everyone, don’t worry, the Commander will be back soon, we must hold our position.”

However, such words couldn’t spur the soldiers on; they could only retreat in a disorganized manner.

Soon the two sides clashed in battle, one side aggressively attacking, the other defending with shields and continuously retreating, making the situation of the battle extremely clear.

...

Hovering over the Youyuan Six States, which tentatively belonged to the Long Night Empire, the speed of the Ice Soul Cold Eagle slightly decreased.

Beigong Xianfeng, clutching his chest, stared intently at Mo Ci.

”Wangyou Sect, do you want to go to war with the Long Night Empire? By capturing me, the Commander-in-chief, just as the war is about to commence, you’ve crossed the Long Night Empire’s red line.”

”No matter the outcome of this battle, the Long Night Empire will inevitably send troops to besiege your Wangyou Sect.”

At this moment, Beigong Xianfeng was enraged to the extreme, nearly grinding his teeth to dust. They were ready to wage war, the lives of tens of millions of soldiers rested in his hands, how could he leave the battlefield at this time?

And it also concerned the lives of countless civilians in the Youyuan Six States and the Long Night Empire...

Yet Mo Ci captured him regardless, which would cause tens of millions of soldiers to collapse. He, Beigong Xianfeng, would become a loathed criminal of the Long Night Empire, and Mo Ci even more so a criminal among criminals...

But Mo Ci coldly sneered with indifference, ”If you want to return to command the battle, answer my question.”

”Where is Sikong Jing?” Mo Ci’s voice was filled with madness.

Beigong Xianfeng clenched his fists tightly, growling lowly, ”I don’t know, wasn’t Sikong Jing expelled from the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace? He also took his family away from our army. Now, no one knows his whereabouts.”

No matter what, Beigong Xianfeng would never tell.

”But someone told me that you definitely know where he is.”

Mo Ci spoke coldly, threatening once more, ”Would you delay the battle for Sikong Jing and let countless people bleed to death?”

Suddenly, Beigong Xianfeng was violently shaken. Who told Mo Ci this?

The Emperor?

Impossible, the Emperor couldn’t be that lacking in vision.

Then, could it be the high echelon of the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace... even less likely, they consider Sikong Jing a treasure, and those who know that Sikong Jing is the Dark Wing Commander within the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace are few as well.

Shaking his head, images of the Youyuan Six States running with rivers of blood flashed through Beigong Xianfeng’s mind, followed by the image of Sikong Jing. Eventually, he lowered his voice and said, ”Fine, I’ll tell you.”

In an instant, Mo Ci’s body shook slightly, staring intensely at Beigong Xianfeng.

”Before Sikong Jing left, he asked me for two Black Burning Soldiers, his father-in-law and his elder sister-in-law. My condition was for him to help me infiltrate the War Soul Dynasty and slay the number one Martial Arts Genius of the War Soul Dynasty... Gongyang Ying.”

After finishing, Beigong Xianfeng raised his head; of course, it was all nonsense.
