Berserk God of War

Chapter 549: Chapter 549 A Request

More than a dozen instructors were all killed by Sikong Jing.

Dozens of their students wouldn’t even be enough to pick Sikong Jing’s teeth; if they didn’t want to die, they had no choice but to beg for mercy.

”Sikong Jing, please forgive our pettiness and let us off, as if we were just a fart you expelled.”

”Brother Sikong, we’ll leave the Xingluo Palace immediately. We are no longer students of the Xingluo Palace, please spare our lives.”

Bang Bang Bang...

A group of Xingluo Palace students frantically kowtowed, scared to death.

Watching them, Sikong Jing stepped forward and asked, ”You want to return to the Long Night Imperial City? For what purpose?”

The Changhua Godship was headed from Dayuan Peak City to the Long Night Imperial City, and the presence of people from the Xingluo Palace here clearly indicated their plan to return to the Imperial City, but they... had already been expelled by the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace.

Clearly, their return must have a purpose, likely aimed against the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace.

At this moment, the leading Xingluo Palace student didn’t even think before replying immediately.

”The Xingluo General Academy sent two elders to our former palace grounds, saying they wanted to dig up the Ancient Dragon Seal for research, and at the same time, to teach the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace a lesson.”

”We... we were just going to watch the spectacle...”

A glint flashed in Sikong Jing’s eyes as he spotted someone hesitating to speak, and he asked again, ”What else?”

”There’s also... Peng Peng’s elder martial sister and girlfriend came as well,” one said.

”She will make a trip to Peng Peng’s family’s place and has asked for their cooperation in killing a few students from the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace to vent her anger.”

”She even plans to... lure you out.”

As these words were spoken, Sikong Jing’s eyebrows rose slightly, then he asked, ”What is the strength of Peng Peng’s elder martial sister?”

”Ranked 311th on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List. We don’t know her exact realm,” the Long Night Xingluo Palace student quickly said and then pleaded, ”Sikong Jing, I’ve told you everything I know, please spare us.”

Sikong Jing gazed intensely at the Long Night Xingluo Palace students and then said coldly, ”Go tell the head of Peng Family that I, Sikong Jing, will visit in three days. Now... disappear from my sight immediately.”

A group of Long Night Xingluo Palace students sighed with relief, purchasing various mounts on the ship, and then flew away from the Changhua, disappearing from sight.

Until they were gone, heavy breathing was the only sound remaining aboard the Changhua.

Everyone just stared straight at Sikong Jing.

Too amazing, too domineering.

He said he would kill the dozen or so instructors from the Long Night Xingluo Palace, and he did so without even being injured.

The number one genius of the Long Night Empire, surely no one could shake his position for years to come.

Just then, footsteps sounded, belonging to the villain Zou Fu, who was slowly retreating into the crowd. His heart was filled with deep fear; he had just intentionally tried to harm Sikong Jing.

Now, he must slip away unnoticed while no one is paying attention...

However, just as he retreated into the crowd of onlookers, a sinister voice sounded.

”Zou Fu, right? Where the hell do you think you’re going?”

Bang!

Immediately following, Zou Fu was blasted out of the crowd and landed harshly in front of Sikong Jing.

Several people stepped out at that moment, the very ones who had cursed the Xingluo Palace for being blind, and were also whom Zou Fu had pointed out, nearly getting them killed.

If it weren’t for Sikong Jing’s invincible might, they would have been doomed.

Now, they were not about to let Zou Fu leave.

Then, a middle-aged man stepped forward and gave a fist salute to Sikong Jing, saying, ”Young Master Sikong, we were blind to Mount Tai earlier and might have spoken words that offended you. Please forgive us.”

”As for this scoundrel Zou Fu, who tried to harm Young Master Sikong, please personally eliminate him.”

In an instant, Zou Fu was so frightened that he screamed repeatedly, frantically retreating.

”How dare you?”

Zou Fu shouted, ”Sikong Jing, I am a relative of Eunuch Zou who serves right by His Majesty; you cannot kill me.”

Smack!

No sooner had the words left his mouth than someone harshly slapped him. The middle-aged man from before said coldly, ”Relative? The devil knows which distant relation you claim to be, even Eunuch Zou probably doesn’t know who you are, right?”

The corner of his mouth twitching, that was indeed the case; he was just a distant relative of Eunuch Zou.

Even if Eunuch Zou recognized him, Brother Sikong, with his status, could put an end to him without Eunuch Zou seeking vengeance on his behalf.

Realizing this, Zou Fu screamed again, ”Right now, I am still doing tasks for the Eldest Prince.”

Upon hearing this, everyone’s expressions shifted, seemingly considering the possibility of this claim being true.

At that moment, Sikong Jing slowly walked over.

He stared at Zou Fu, with a slight lift at the corner of his mouth, ”Since you are working for the Eldest Prince, then you may go.”

As the words fell, Zou Fu incredulously lifted his head.

He then took a long breath and scampered away; although the several individuals whom he had wronged and forced to kneel down were reluctant, since Sikong Jing had let him go, they could only accept it.

However, what they didn’t know was that Sikong Jing let Zou Fu go only because the man had some value to be used.

He would cause Ji Tan to let down his guard against himself...

Clearly, Ji Tan would have placed various people around the Long Night Emperor to uncover Dark Wings, suspecting any young person who had had contact with the Long Night Emperor.

By letting Zou Fu go, the level of suspicion could be lessened by a notch.

Otherwise, meeting Ji Shengmang openly without implicating the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace would not be an easy task.

Gradually, the Changhua Godship returned to tranquility.

And Sikong Jing slowly approached Hua Lidian, who was in the process of inscribing his own Yellow Jade Tablet. Hua Lidian completed the inscription as Sikong Jing drew near, looking up with a smile, ”Brother Sikong, you truly amaze me, Hua someone.

Sikong Jing smiled and pointed to the Yellow Jade Tablet, ”Mr. Hua, are you inscribing my fighting skills?”

To this question, Hua Lidian provided a definite response.

”The Green Jade Stone Plate can inscribe Martial Arts Techniques, while the Yellow Jade Tablet is even more advanced. It can record a person’s fighting skills and so on. As soon as I send the Yellow Jade Tablet to the Overlord Commerce, they will use it to determine the rankings on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List.”

Understanding this, Sikong Jing knew that in the East Plain Northern Land, there were many members of Overlord Commerce like Hua Lidian.

They would observe and record the fighting methods of Martial Arts geniuses to calculate and determine the rankings of the Thousand Tyrant List.

With the fighting skills recorded on the Yellow Jade Tablet, the accuracy could be ensured...

With this in mind, Sikong Jing asked, ”Mr. Hua, based on your estimates, where will I rank next month?”

As this question arose, the people around couldn’t help but look over with infinite anticipation and excitement in their eyes.

Hua Lidian’s eyes flashed brightly as he answered emphatically, ”Top one hundred!”

At these words, the people around inhaled sharply, but then they promptly came to terms with it. After all, Sikong Jing single-handedly cut down more than a dozen instructors from the Xingluo Palace; it would have been strange if he did not reach the top one hundred.

Yet Sikong Jing did not show the slightest bit of happiness but rather his expression darkened slightly as he bowed with a fist, ”Mr. Hua, I have a request.”

”Young friend, speak freely,” Hua Lidian said with a smile.

Taking a deep breath, Sikong Jing said deliberately, ”I don’t want to enter the top one hundred. I wonder if you could refrain from submitting the Yellow Jade Tablet to the Overlord Commerce and not report my recent fight?”

At these words, Hua Lidian was stunned... and so were the people around him.

”Why?” asked Hua Lidian, puzzled.
