Berserk God of War

Chapter 533: Chapter 533: Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness, Development

In that instant, Sikong Jing’s body shook violently, and intense pain emanated from his brow.

But he, he endured it tightly...

Just before, Sikong Jing had been continuously communicating with the beasts within the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison, hoping they could devise a way to heal Beigong Xianfeng, no matter how risky.

And the method proposed by the Divine Turtle was: if there was any chance for Beigong Xianfeng to survive, his Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness must first be repaired.

But as it was said, the beasts in the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison were too powerful, and more importantly, their power was too brutal. With such force from their Sea of Consciousness pouring into him, Beigong Xianfeng would only collapse.

Since they couldn’t come out and were unable to control their strength, they had to act through Sikong Jing.

Among them, the steadiest and calmest force was from the Divine Turtle itself, but even its weakest state of Xuanwu Spring was still more than Beigong Xianfeng could bear.

Thus, it had to first be nurtured within Sikong Jing’s Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness, to further weaken the power contained in Xuanwu Spring.

Weakened to the point within what Beigong Xianfeng could endure.

The result of doing so was that Sikong Jing was in great danger, although as the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, his Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness was definitely more robust by a hundred times than that of Beigong Xianfeng.

But he was only at the peak of Daoist Soldier Realm, his own realm was too weak!

Using the Divine Turtle’s words, there was only a thirty percent chance of success, and failure meant death.

But Sikong Jing did not hesitate to accept it, and in his words... thirty percent chance was enough!

Now, the Xuanwu Spring had already merged into Sikong Jing’s Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness, and what he needed to do was to first claim the Xuanwu Spring for himself.

With Sikong Jing’s current strength, it wasn’t yet time to cultivate the Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness.

The so-called Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness is also a type of power among martial artists, but it generally only starts to be developed when one reaches the Reverse Soul Realm and gradually becomes a substantial force.

Below the Reverse Soul Realm, it is only used passively, such as sensing the aura, etc.

Beigong Xianfeng was at the peak of Dao Inquiry Realm, so he likewise had no defense in his Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness, and thus was seriously injured by Mo Ci of the Reverse Soul Realm, leaving him without any method of healing.

At this moment, Sikong Jing, as the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, was breaking new ground to cultivate the Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness.

So, he followed the method described by the Divine Turtle, with his mental focus following the Xuanwu Spring, entering into the Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness.

A world that seemed brand new appeared before Sikong Jing.

Just as just mentioned, the Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, even if not usable for the time being, was a thousand times stronger than that of ordinary martial artists; he saw a chaotic world in his Sea of Consciousness, floating within it was the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison.

But the next moment, the entire Sea of Consciousness was filled by the Xuanwu Spring.

If he couldn’t truly make it his own, if he couldn’t weaken the Xuanwu Spring, Sikong Jing’s Sea of Consciousness would burst.

”Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, even the Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness has cultivation techniques,”

”but for you, cultivation techniques will only hinder your growth. You must comprehend it yourself; your Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness is unlike any other.”

Just then, the voice of the Divine Turtle sounded in Sikong Jing’s mind.

Sikong Jing clenched his teeth and nodded, forcibly calming his exploding Sea of Consciousness, and muttered, ”I am the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, my blood is the most dreadful in the heavens and the earth. I have entered the demon, for Yue Xi, for my sister, so I... am human!”

Thump thump...

With Sikong Jing’s voice, the small heart in his Dantian beat continuously, his Beast Heart emitting a strong breath in frenzy.

Within the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison, the Golden Divine Dragon asked, ”Old Turtle, aren’t you pushing him too quickly?”

All the Fierce Beasts and Divine Beasts of the entire Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison were silent, their moods tense, indeed a bit anxious; if Sikong Jing had reached the Extraordinary Realm, there might still be a chance.

Starting the Spirit Platform Sea of Consciousness now was too dangerous.

”Rushed? The Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, who has twice entered the demon, will definitely succeed.”

”He has already gathered humanity, demonic nature, beastly nature... More importantly, he has shown us firm resolve.”

All beasts agreed with the Divine Turtle’s words, choosing a human to be the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts was indeed an experiment.

This experiment had shifted from their initial inability to accept it, to an absolute approval, and now to being filled with hope...

They held their breath and concentrated, quietly waiting.

At this moment, Sikong Jing stood by Beigong Xianfeng’s bedside, striving to accept the Xuanwu Spring and forge his own Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness.

Outside the door, unbeknownst when, Cao Yi along with various Vice Commanders and strategists were standing erect.

Their eyes were bloodshot, their bodies trembling.

Although Cao Yi said that the Beigong Commander had already lost his vitality, the Dark Wing Commander was still making a final attempt. Perhaps there was still a chance for life? After all, Dark Wing Commander had saved him once before!

They were hopeful, they were praying.

Time slowly passed by...

Sikong Jing’s tightly furrowed brows, unbeknownst to him, began to relax, and the pain at his brow was no longer felt; the Xuanwu Spring continued to fill his entire Sea of Consciousness, yet it was no longer painful...

This meant that his Sea of Consciousness had now become sturdy enough.

”Human, demon, beast—whatever I am, I will remain a sentient being with flesh, blood, and emotions.”

”So my Sea of Consciousness need not be restrained by any one kind of life, nor must it adhere to the identity of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts. I am simply me, and no matter what I become, at least Yue Xi will always accompany me in this world.”

The image of Su Yuexi flashed through Sikong Jing’s mind, and he unconsciously smiled, his heart thus steadied like a rock.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes...

Hum!

A tremor sounded from within the Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness, and the Xuanwu Spring was being absorbed crazily.

Originally murky and dim, his Sea of Consciousness suddenly brightened and then radiated light in three sky colors.

Each color represented human, demon, and beast!

The human was azure blue, signifying clarity!

The demon beast navy blue, yet it was filled with countless stars that did not fall.

The beast fiery red, yet as radiant as the morning sun.

The three lights in the Sea of Consciousness, no matter which one, yearned for light and aimed to pierce through all injustice and oppression!

They symbolized light and steadfastness!

Gradually, the power of the Xuanwu Spring diminished and dwindled... until it was completely absorbed, yet soon it condensed into new spring water, still carrying the aura of the Divine Turtle.

But at this moment, it was already purified and weakened by the Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness forged by Sikong Jing.

The next moment, Sikong Jing opened his eyes and his gaze fell upon Beigong Xianfeng who lay on the bed.

A droplet of spring water condensed at his brow and then Sikong Jing, moving closer to Beigong Xianfeng, pressed the spring water into the latter’s brow; following that, a three-colored light flashed in the Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness, covering Beigong Xianfeng’s brow.

”Beigong Commander, whether you can hear my words or not, please now strive to restore your Sea of Consciousness.”

As Sikong Jing’s ethereal voice fell, he then clearly observed.

The spring water fell into Beigong Xianfeng’s Sea of Consciousness, and originally his collapsed Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness continuously restored and solidified along with the spring water...

In just a moment, Beigong Xianfeng’s Sea of Consciousness was restored.

In another instant, Sikong Jing’s gaze scanned over Beigong Xianfeng’s entire body, clearly seeing everything inside, his shattered meridians, his still heart, along with the still tormenting Supreme Forget Love True Qi.

Compared to before, it was much more transparent, much more intuitive — this was the result of having forged his own Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness.
