Surviving The Fourth Calamity

”Lansendel,” Hill whispered softly, ”Who did you think of?”

Shaer slightly raised her eyebrow: ”I was quite surprised when I first found out, how could he possibly guess?”

Shaer’s heart, once rippled slightly, again returned to tranquility... Her attention quickly focused on Lansendel’s extremely unexpected wealth of information.

Although the Great Peacock knows a lot, it doesn’t respond swiftly... The Dawn Messenger gathers information, but the speed of transmission isn’t that fast.

She just found out herself, how could Lansendel...

”Ambori wasn’t trying to conceal.” Lansendel chuckled twice, ”Ah, that’s not right, I should say, that Chief Steward Lu didn’t want to hide anything, even pointed a bit at the Young Master and those close to them.

Lately, Ambori’s shark-head has been shuttling back and forth in the Great Sea, how could the Young Master not investigate?

Who doesn’t know, now Ambori’s Chosen are basically executing that Lu Huayu’s will.”

Hill could only chuckle twice: The grudge between these two families wouldn’t be eliminated by the Young Master’s personal thoughts.

Even if they temporarily reconciled, they would surely be very mindful of each other, and it would be easy for small matters to create more ripples... The handshake at the top never represents the lower members ceasing their arguing.

But, if ’Lu Huayu’ really wanted to hide it from the neighboring Wenjian, it wouldn’t be that difficult.

Just as Lansendel said, this only proves he never intended to hide it from the start.

Shaer, who understood, felt a bit unhappy... She truly doesn’t like these unexpected happenings.

But the Undead Tribe never does things as she predicts.

Even this meticulous and complex-minded ’Lu Huayu’ is the same.

Clearly, hiding it all would allow Ambori to gain the most benefit... why did he have to fold?

Of course, Shaer also knows, for Ambori, this is the most stable approach.

Putting everything on the table, clearly displaying both advantages and disadvantages to everyone... Although this also means Ambori can’t gain victory amidst chaos, at least, deities who understand what she wants and have no conflict with her won’t easily target her.

And with Agleya in Toril and Athena following behind, Ambori’s desires are indeed very few, with almost no competitors.

Hill curiously asked: ”Who is it?”

”Do you remember the dinosaur god from Chult?” Lansendel slowly spoke.

Hill couldn’t help but glance back at Shaer.

”No need to look at me, I have no vendetta with Utao. Chult willingly gave up.

Aishdo was the same.

Besides me, no other deities can establish themselves in Chult.

After Dandell smashed open the door, Chult has become a jungle of shadows.”

Shaer’s words were simple and clear.

But Hill still didn’t quite understand: ”So, connecting with Ambori, what’s his intention?

No, I should say, can Ambori help him?”

”Utao didn’t leave alone, he has Feathered Serpent and Lizardmen Tribe following. There are quite a few demigods too.” Lansendel said with a laugh, ”Hill, have you forgotten about the continent accidentally exchanged between Toril and Abel?”

Hill blinked rapidly.

He truly forgot about that place... Initially, if the Path of Destiny wasn’t properly walked, these two continents would exchange again during Midnight’s fall.

However, now Toril’s Primordial Power is very stable.

Spatial exchange is hard to achieve again.

Time has passed so long, the chaotic energy wrapped around that Dragon Continent is likely dissipating too... But, isn’t it full of dragons and Primordials?

How dare Utao plot against that place?

”Though the continent exchanged, Five-colored Dragons and Primordials don’t want to live in Toril.” Lansendel shook his head, ”Of course, if not for the existence of the Undead Tribe, those Five-colored Dragons, especially the arrogant Black Dragon Clan might stay in Toril.

But now, what’s the point for them to remain in Toril?

As for minerals, Toril truly isn’t as abundant as Abel.

So to dragons, a world they cannot pillage holds no value.

Plus... Hill, the Platinum Dragon King and the Chromatic Dragon Queen haven’t left.

The Platinum Dragon King is alright, he stays because Tiamat refuses to leave, occasionally going to Agleya to earn some money and buy things... Speaking of, your 300,000 jewelry set, he managed to snatch a set!

Those undead didn’t even intercept him.

He was so proud, bragged for ages after returning.”

Hill couldn’t help but widen his eyes... then realized something.

Though Terry followed him, there were still quite a few Dragon People in his territory.

Bahamuts’ Platinum Dragonkin naturally existed too.

However, they’ve always been pretty well-behaved, earning a living by working... The Mage Academy in Agleya always has many jobs.

Undead Tribe mostly hires for part-time, but regular work from nine to five is more suitable for Toril people.

So, the Platinum Dragon King probably knows exactly what’s in his territory.

Hill shook his head; anyway, these deities and powerful entities are just normal interactions, no need to pay too much attention.

His relationship with Terry decided that Metal Dragons would inevitably regard Agleya as an ally.

Just like the Chromatic Dragon Queen would definitely dislike Agleya.

Of course, this dislike doesn’t affect Tiamat’s ability to profit from Agleya, only that the Chromatic Dragon Queen won’t show up herself, basically driving her underlings... Oh, he thought, he understands why those Abel Dragons don’t want to stay on Toril.

The thickness of the Chromatic Dragon Queen’s face is enough to form several layers of the Abyssal Plane!

She will definitely order all Chromatic Dragons she perceives to hand over their property.

Of course, this order mainly manifests as her automatically entering these dragons’ treasuries and taking everything.

Even though the savvy Chromatic Dragons know how to avoid this shamelessness from their boss, those accustomed to the freedom on Abel must struggle to adapt.

Probably resulting in heavy losses.

That’s why Abel Dragons are desperate to return to Abel.

With vast lands and sparse population on Abel, even if they’ve lost a continent, they still have places to go... Originally, the continent exchanged to Toril was a new development for them.

But if they continue to stay on Toril, their savings from thousands and thousands of years would be gone.

Hill slightly pursed his lips, controlling his smile.

As for the Primordial beings, they preferred fighting to the death with dragons rather than staying on Toril.

Unlike the later deities and humans.

These Primordials are heavily influenced by Celene and Shaer... They were born from the aura of the twin goddesses.

Just like the Moon Elven Tree Hill cultivated: even though they’re independent entities, Hill’s influence on them is strong.

Hill’s words always leave a deep impression on their hearts.

So, for the Primordials, Shaer and Celene are the greatest dangers.

As long as the two continue to war, Toril is unsuitable for their survival.

”So, they just left like that?” Hill asked curiously.

”AO gave them a time limit... Anyone from the two continents who wants to return just needs to reach the center before the deadline,” Lansendel replied, ”But, you know, the continent that was exchanged to Toril got heavily messed up by those slave traders from Heim, even their Ancestral God is gone.

So, those wanting to return are mostly the ones who can’t stay.

On this continent, except for some Cat People, pretty much no one wants to stay.

Hence, the new land is left empty.

Utao, although greedy, found a pretty nice place.”

”He found Ambori... Is it because the ocean is difficult to navigate?”

Hill realized, although the Primordial Energy in the sky has dissipated, the undersea currents remain.

”Yes.” Lansendel decisively nodded, ”Maybe because the spaces aren’t stable enough yet, the sea routes there are very challenging.

Utao has so many followers, but relying on their own power, they simply can’t make it.

Just as well, Ambori is also interested in the new continent, so they hit it off.”

Hill looked up and thought for a moment: ”Lu Huayu seemed interested in the new continent from the start, right?”

”Tsk, that guy is ruthless with a poor character, but his vision is really sharp.”

Lansendel’s statement clearly shows he’s influenced by a certain Young Master’s views.

Hill thinks Lu Huayu’s attitude towards the ’Young Master’ is a bit too genuine.

Ha~ People like Lu Huayu are what he’s most afraid of.

But these people, as long as they can control their desires and see their true selves clearly, are most likely to succeed.

Just like now, the most powerful Undead Tribe on Toril is his old adversary, the Black Rose.

The toughest to deal with is his old foe Wenjian World Youth Journey.

But no one has been able to stop his stride towards the new continent.

They might even have to hold their noses to help him.

After all, in the previous world, Lu Huayu and Ambori played significant roles... Ambori behaved so well.

And for this reason, the Proud Sky Alliance members can’t disrupt when the Last-Era Clan hasn’t done anything.

Especially since this concerns Ambori’s future.

Ambori, being so well-behaved at the port and making herself so human-like... After all she’s done, can’t you just let her be?

Hill slightly pursed his lips again.

Then, Lu Huayu behaved so sincerely in this world... even willing to be their photographer!

Hill feels Ambori’s faith journey to the new continent will probably be very smooth.
