Surviving The Fourth Calamity

While there are many ideas, I know that the main force behind pranking him is these old players, especially the Proud Sky Alliance, which is absolutely the main force.

But Hill still hopes to see them, and not some new people.

One day, these people will disappear from his sight, Hill is well aware of this.

Even if some may appear in the multiverse in the far future, they will not be the same as they are now, nor will their moods be the same.

Those players who appeared during the most critical stage of his life made his once high-spirited life take a sharp turn for the worse, even though the Undead Tribe who might be the fastest in advancing in Teraxil wouldn’t dare to live recklessly, are indeed one of the important reasons Hill has come this far.

Although at first, before Hill knew his identity, he was just thinking about how to survive among this group of crazy players.

But, if the Undead Tribe hadn’t appeared... no matter how much he holds back and refrains from being arrogant, Hill couldn’t guarantee that he wouldn’t become too proud.

He was, after all, so special!

A born Child of Nature with incredibly strong powers... and a face that somewhat resembles the Elven God King.

And the elves, before exposing so many dirty matters, had a really good reputation in Teraxil.

Hill, living so much like a main character!

Among humans and elves, his identity is considered noble.

That father, although a bit of a fool, truly didn’t choose the wrong side back in the day.

If it weren’t for William, the Second Prince would definitely lose to the more petty, venomous, and malicious brother.

A tangled family background, with powerful relatives who can lend Rahil a hand in crucial moments... If he plunged into such a life, whether Hill could continue to live so freely is truly hard to say.

People change.

Hill definitely doesn’t dare to say that no matter what happens, he won’t change... hardship and difficulties he may endure, but endless praise and flattery could truly drive him mad.

He might even become a standard traverser, even if not to the extent of Long Aotian... well, a quarter is still possible.

After all, he has too strong of an otaku vibe, so a harem definitely wouldn’t happen.

Thus, Hill’s feelings towards these Undead Tribe are quite complicated... whenever they tease him, he can only laugh and cry, somewhat ashamed and annoyed but not to the point of anger.

Yet he truly hopes to always see them, until everything naturally unfolds and turns a page.

So, even with a mix of emotions inside, Hill is still full of joy... his eyes even slightly curled when the large group of robust female soldiers led by several short-legged ones walked out the door.

The Black Rose, probably for fairness, divided several profession teams into groups, walking out side by side under their respective leaders.

As for how these professions are allocated internally, that’s up to each family’s leader.

Amusingly, in these profession teams, the first row is invariably composed of shorties.

But upon thinking, it’s quite normal.

On the Priest side, both ’Xiao Liuliu’ and ’Old Age Striking King’ are truly the ones in power.

And the Knight is undoubtedly Baldy.

Of course, as Black Rose’s tactical commander, ’Rain Falling on Mortal Dust’ is considered the authority in the Mage team... but as a strategist, he always refrains from standing in the first row.

It’s probably because of his preference for staying in a safe environment, that the Mage squad also sent little girls and boys... many in Black Rose involved in Alchemy like using shorties.

Their status is actually quite high too.

After all, the Black Rose has always been known for balancing income and expenditure... ’Perfect Bald’ and ’Xiao Liuliu’ are actually good at management, they don’t lack money in real life, hence what they earn in the game is reinvested back into family operations.

This is also the reason that, though Black Rose lacks a big boss, they still thrive well.

The remaining Swordsman profession has always belonged to the middle ground, following the crowd... if everyone does it, they certainly will too.

Crispy Skin has always been interested only in killing, not caring about daily trivialities.

Therefore, Hill always liked Black Rose... they truly match the stereotype of gamers.

Perhaps because the management is comparatively harmonious, with no scheming troubles, when choosing professions, Black Rose’s people generally go for ’I want to,’ not ’I have to.’

Thus, most profession jokes can be seen in their family.

Of course, most importantly, regardless of their essence or profession, the Black Rose family is the type Hill would choose.

Sometimes, seeing them, Hill seems to be looking at his past self.

”Hmm... the Young Master saw the Rainbow Bridge.” Lansendel quietly reminded.

Actually, no reminder was needed; Hill already saw that little bouncing figure leaping three heights high.

Needless to say, this time, he is the one commanding again.

Their command, the ’Young Master,’ actually aligns more with the initial image of commanding... besides leading the orchestra, various stage designs, and matters related to the orchestra are all managed by the chief command.

They not only command the notes’ rhythms but also guide the performers’ work pace.

Some old-school conductors even take charge of the band members’ familial trivia.

In formal command groups, the conductor’s status in the orchestra is the most important... everyone cooperates with him, obeys him, and for most bands, the founding creator is typically the conductor.

Although ’Young Master’ frequently uses assistants to handle the miscellaneous tasks, he actually keeps tabs on everything.

Furthermore, concerning stage-related matters, not only is he well-informed, but his control power is also strong.

Vila loses in arguments against him almost catastrophically... the antics of a Little Fairy like her bear no significance to someone like the ’Young Master.’

So, Hill isn’t surprised that despite so many great commanders, responsible for pestering Hill is this insightful ’Young Master.’

Having traversed so many worlds and tried out styles twice already... the third time is an inevitable understanding for everyone.

The Undead Tribe openly and unashamedly carries it out.

Moreover, those forming this unique choir were still with their familial faction when entering this world... now, they’re in a massive gathering calling friends.

This is a blatant prank.

The gamble is that Hill won’t act against them before they sing.

Hill indeed won’t.

Whether based on his life principles or his patience, he could not let this highly anticipated revelry fail because of his ’unwillingness’.

Until those people slowly climbed the hill, walked onto the rainbow, and took their places according to the band sections, Hill had no reaction.

Shaer sighed softly, almost inaudibly... Hill obviously had quite a strong reaction to this, and indeed was a bit reluctant.

But he really did not take action.

This child, what kind of temperament does he have?

Judging from his recent performance in these two worlds, Hill is not someone indecisive, and he can be quite decisive.

If it was him in the past... or even just when he first entered Toril, being this tolerant wouldn’t have been surprising.

At what level is Hill now!

If he wanted to become a god, he would instantly have intermediate divine power.

Given Hill’s status and position, why does he still tolerate the Undead Tribe being so disrespectful?

Although William talked with her about this topic, she still cannot quite understand it.

Probe, failed.

”At eighteen, we first met, getting to know each other shamelessly.”

The first line of the Undead Tribe’s song made Hill widen his eyes.

”Then, rising to the lead role so suddenly.

I wanted to break your dogmatic ways, you wanted me to take away your disappointment, living recklessly like others.

You finally followed your heart, you finally stopped following the rules~

And then, you got lost~ Our little bear cub.”

Hill took a deep breath... it finally came.

”Eighteen, oh Eighteen, the years have never gone far.

The little bear who wanted to protect the homeland~

Will still get lost at times~

When I hear this familiar melody again, how should I find the unforgettable bear~

We seemed to be standing at the top of the world!

We are still by your side~

We lived wild and free~

Doing ridiculous things for happiness!

But, my little bear~ are you finally going home?”

The suddenly raised voice made Hill involuntarily widen his eyes.

This time, it wasn’t just those people on the Rainbow Bridge singing; the Undead Tribe standing in the valley and crowded on the hillside suddenly started a grand chorus.

”The stars paint the deep blue night sky,

Like an hourglass counting time hastily.

Brighter than fireworks, reflected in our eyes are our smiles for each other.

The stage lights gradually appear around us,

Silhouettes immersed among the stars,

Tightly hooking pinkies, sparking a blaze of light.

Our early morning is more enthusiastic than daytime,

Waiting for the dawn to arrive!

Our sincerity is more passionate than the sunrise,

Until we reunite in our homeland!

Welcome home, dear little bear.

Welcome home, my friend.

The bustling traffic lights up the night, the travelers stop at the street corners.”

Hill didn’t know if the corners of his eyes were wet.

But he was suddenly awakened by the Undead Tribe’s singing, bringing back memories that seemed dormant, those sour and sweet, bitter and happy moments.

He exhaled deeply.

The crystal fan resting at his hand spun lightly.

However, before he could put away the crystal fan, the slightly uneven yet sufficiently melodious singing below suddenly changed.

”Bear oh bear, where is home,

Teraxil sees the great tree!

Bear oh bear, where to go,

Teraxil is afar.

Bear oh bear, which path to take,

Random jumps can also break through!

Everywhere everywhere! Out out out! Break break break!

Mighty little bear rush forward!

Charge charge charge!”
