Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1515: Chapter 93: First-Day Meeting Gift

Hill’s hostility towards Eosca is absolutely deep... He was originally just passing through this world, planning to engage in some harmless intrigue with Aesces while observing the bustling interactions between him and Triton, before heading to a world that had died yet not completely collapsed to craft his own half-plane and Floating City.

As a result, due to his opportunistic entry, Hill once again became the initiator of the data Chapter... He remembered that when he used to play games, he would also refer to the exploration team slightly similar to him as ’Disaster Star’.

Hill doesn’t even want to find out how the Undead Tribe is currently referring to him... He doesn’t want any communication with William now.

Therefore, when he realized that the future of this God of Portals was bound to be bleak, Hill laughed heartily in the Cloud Realm.

Especially as the furious roars of the Moon Clan below provided accompaniment, making it even more delightful.

”They’re guarding the revival point!”

”Damn it! Are they mocking us?”

”凸(艹皿艹)! What’s that gesture?”

”FUCK! Why are you obsessed with figuring out how they’re insulting us? Are you an idiot?”

”You’re the idiot!

Who wouldn’t want to know the content when being insulted?”

”Are you people crazy! Revival point folks!

Gather first and then charge out!

What kind of courage makes you think you’re invincible in the world, facing thousands single-handedly?

This game has no cheats, can’t suddenly boost your stats by 9999 points!”

The calls from the Moon Clan were incessant, yet after butchering the revival point twice, the Undead Tribe began to charge out.

Those people logging on at the coast were evidently slightly weaker in combat strength, and those who couldn’t dive into the hurricane at that time... Once they failed, they would grab the bottom of their particularly wide cloaks with both hands and fly over the sea, resulting in not many deaths.

But the main combat advantage was still the PVE families and Scattered Ones, who preferred direct confrontation and charging, similar to the Moon Clan’s combat style. If numbers were unbalanced, these Undead Tribe members swimming from the sea could easily be defeated.

But the Moon Clan reacted too slowly, too chaotically.

The Undead Tribe seemed to have calculated the merit points, confirming that they had replenished what they lost in the afternoon and perhaps even gained significantly, then immediately reunited with those at the shore. After taking out a batch of Moon Clan members still daring to charge out, they together surged into the stormy sea.

They had calculated the timing of kills... When the Moon Clan initially failed to react, almost everyone charged out from the revival point directly upon resurrection.

They overlooked that during wartime, resurrection time always increased by fifty percent... And it seemed to start at at least half an hour.

Moreover, their lack of combat experience and overly scattered team meant they hadn’t protected their altar.

Then these people were harvested in batches by the Undead Tribe members hiding in distant corners... Each batch killed at intervals of at least 5 minutes.

Although some quick-thinking individuals would wait for more resurrection before charging out, the Moon Clan was never a rational race... prone to impulsiveness.

Then they were harvested by the Undead Tribe again.

The second resurrection time had to wait for 45 minutes, and then they were waiting for those who died later to gather... The Undead Tribe should have swum to Basia City.

As for whether the Moon Clan would immediately strike back... Unless they intended to let the awakened Mutated Silk Spiders settle and take root on the island.

This thing is small enough to survive directly in the earth, not even needing to dig holes like ants!

And the Silvermoon, extraordinarily bright during the Undead Tribe’s invasion, had vanished from the night sky.

There was no rain on Eosca Island with clouds driven away. If they didn’t kill these Mutated Silk Spiders immediately, they’d surely face trouble later!

The island of Eosca was now ablaze with light.

Fierce winds blew from the razed white mansion at the island center... Even if it meant letting the relentless flames burn down the peripheral houses, they needed to blow away the toxic smoke first.

The burning flames were Sunfire, utterly impossible to extinguish with water.

Unless Scaret’s Great Sage intervened.

But the Great Sage wouldn’t waste his strength on such trivial matters.

Should his energy be too expended, who knows if the Silvermoon High Bishop wouldn’t hit him directly?

They were deadly enemies!

Many Moon Clan members sat despondently on the ground, watching their newly built homes burn to ash... Sunfire could incinerate stone to dust.

The excitement from gaining lots of merit points during the day, as rewards fell from the sky, disappeared instantly.

Amidst this desolate atmosphere, someone suddenly shouted: ”It’s midnight! Yesterday’s merit calculation is out!

We... lost?

How could it be?

Wasn’t there talk of over ten thousand merits? That’s 100,000 lives!

We couldn’t have lost that many lives!”

”The city is half-destroyed, and the Lord’s Mansion smashed to ruins.” The speaker’s voice was filled with sorrow, ”Combine those two, and it’s 70,000 merits!

We indeed haven’t died 100,000, but it’s over 70,000!”

”Damn it! Why aren’t those people coming out!

Just watching the loss unfold?”

”If you guys don’t go off to get yourselves killed, won’t that solve the problem?”

”Where did you come from, you idiot?” someone yelled angrily, ”Not to mention if none of us make a move, how many merit points will be deducted if the entire island is lost!

Come on, you’re playing a game, aren’t you afraid to die?

FUCK!”

”Is the goose good for nothing but squawking?”

”BITCH! What the hell! Are you planning on cursing Maple people in Maple Country’s game? Seriously?”

”Oh... that’s nothing strange, Prettia is number one in the world, so of course the only ones to blame are us fools who invited them... but, according to the stats, we all participated!

The Maple people who died in battle, the Pretty ones who curse... ah, it’s an unchanging joke of eternity.

Ha~ by the way, we’re geese who dare to honk at anyone, and you’re the birds who fly away high!” A sturdy armored knight standing on the altar at the revival point spoke coldly, ”However, if your impotent rage is over, hurry up and clean up the mess!

Otherwise, don’t complain when you bite into a spider leg while eating licorice candy.

We’re not responsible for providing antidotes to those who eat too much candy.”

Hill leaned on the ship’s rail, raising an eyebrow: interesting, although he made fun of people from another country, the tone of his speech wasn’t too harsh... For these two nations used to mocking each other since childhood, these words might be stimulating but not entirely unacceptable.

As shown by those on the ground who were cursing each other earlier, now getting up to work.

However, the final standout commander should be this knight who seems to have quite a bit of authority, right?

It suits their character... although Pretty people are more arrogant, it’s usually the Maple people who end up getting things done.

After all, Pretty people never make an effort.

The benefits in the game aren’t significant enough for them to sacrifice their time and energy, so doing nothing is their usual style.

Hill was just about to leave when, through a flash of lightning, he saw ’Snow Cloud Peak’ lying on a large rock at the edge of Eosca Island.

He was holding a telescope, seriously observing the reactions of the Moon Clan... judging by his focus, it must be that armored knight.

Hill was a bit surprised.

’Snow Cloud Peak’ rarely appears in such dangerous places due to uncoordinated movements, usually letting the observationally skilled Undead make moves, then he himself makes a summary from various clues.

This was the first time Hill saw him independently appear in an enemy faction to observe the situation!

Hill looked around, indeed, he was alone.

And the reinvigorated Moon Clan had already started organizing people for a full-island patrol!

After awkwardly avoiding several patrol teams, feeling the storm at sea slowly stopping... ’Snow Cloud Peak’ sluggishly crawled into the sea.

Then clung to the rock, continuing to look around.

Soon he noticed several fully armed squads charging from the center mansion of the island toward him... looks like the person controlling the fog array finally noticed the red dot near their island.

’Snow Cloud Peak’ quietly sank deeper into the sea.

Hill almost felt his tension, but this commander had no intention to swim away.

Weird? Is he planning to get himself killed?

Wait... Hill looked curiously at Snow Old Dog’s behavior... the foam by his mouth seemed a bit much!

’Snow Cloud Peak’ looked at the enemies running toward him, a slight smile appearing at the corner of his mouth... though they could spot the enemy, they couldn’t directly find him.

Seems like they could only determine a small area and then rely on people to search.

To find him alone, they’d have to send dozens!

Hmm... maybe they got a bit too spooked by previous assassinations, so they don’t dare to appear with too few people?

After all, he saw ’Perfect Bald’ single-handedly wipe out a five-person squad.

These so-called Moon Clan folks are quite slow to react, not even knowing how to protect their vital parts.

In the game, bodies are indeed data-driven, health bars don’t just kill people... but if vital points like the throat or heart are hit, it’s a critical hit.

Unluckily, immediate death wouldn’t be impossible.

Yet these people don’t quite get it, oblivious to how to safely position their shields.

Looks like there’s no need to worry about the opponent having more people than the Undead Tribe for now.

Ah... they’ve been spotted.

’Snow Cloud Peak’ quickly sank... his health bar’s rate of decrease started speeding up!

Tch~ only 20 meters deep, and he can’t make it!

’Snow Cloud Peak’ gave a smile to the knight holding a shield and sword before turning into a shimmer in the seawater.

Hill blinked: So the Undead Tribe can drown now, huh!

The speed was quite fast, too.
