As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 50: Chapter 49 - Hugging And Cooking

I greeted Master Reina and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld, who peeked out from behind the kitchen door. Their glowing red eyes in the darkness almost made me mistake them for nocturnal monsters.

Their long hair, loose in the night air, swayed in the breeze, filtering in through the small open gap from the open kitchen window. The aroma of mashed potatoes filled with spices and dried vegetables had piqued their appetite.

A funny stomach rumbling brought Master Reina and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld into the kitchen. The night maids, seeing their Lady, immediately bowed and prepared their seats, except for Master Reina, who came to meet me with a cold smile.

”Liliana, what are you doing in the middle of the night?” Master Reina asked with a smile that showed her dissatisfaction towards Master Amagi.

Master Amagi still stretched out her arms in front of me, ready to hug my body from the front while the French fries were being cooked.

There’s nothing strange about all this; it’s just...

I knew the two of them would make cooking fries complicated.

”Cooking fries for Master Amagi and Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg. They’re both starving and... I’m starving too, Master Reina,” I replied while rubbing my empty stomach, tempted by the smell of mashed potatoes baking in the magic oven.

Crunch...

A cute sound came from my stomach, confirming my honest answer to Master Reina, who was looking at me suspiciously.

In the middle of this cold night, I should be in my room, sound asleep under a thick, warm blanket. Instead the warm blanket... the warmth I receive in the middle of the night comes from Master Reina’s heated gaze and the heat radiating from the magic oven.

”Cooking French fries? Uhm... that weird thing can be fried?” Master Reina asked, looking at the potato slices in the wooden bowl I was holding.

”Yes, it just tastes salty. It’s not as appealing as the mashed potatoes I’m cooking, Master Reina. If Master Reina wants... I can feed Master Reina one bite.”

”Being fed by Liliana? T-That’s a great idea, and I never thought of it...” Master Reina’s eyes widened when she heard that, her body shaking with shock of pleasure.

I offered to feed her, and for good reason. French fries were an uncommon dish among the nobility. It wasn’t a forbidden dish, but rather a dish rarely consumed by noble families and reserved for the servants who worked in their residences.

In short, premium foodstuffs for the nobles and cheap foodstuffs for the commoners living in the nobles’ residences. Even to live in this luxurious residence, ordinary people had to be aware that they were still poor.

I almost laughed wryly at reality.

Poouuttss...

Master Amagi, who was standing in front of me and was ready to hug my body, puffed out her cheeks.

”Liliana! I’ve been waiting for a while! When are you going to hug me?” Master Amagi asked, making me flinch and smile at her.

My service as an apprentice maid for Master Amagi and Master Reina will happen tomorrow, right?

Why are she giving me orders?

Ah, that’s right...

This day... it was approaching midnight.

Today and tomorrow are close together.

Once past midnight, it will be tomorrow.

This stupid mistake made me take a deep breath.

I immediately approached Master Amagi, who had already stretched out her arms, expecting a hug from my body... while cooking.

I hope, there are no kitchen accidents while cooking.

I stood on a wooden stool that acts as a foothold.

My still-short body could now see the shape of a magic stove, similar to the induction stove of my past life. A gift from my handwriting, which created the magical technology in this novel to modern life.

I really feel grateful after writing a semi-modern world setting, even though there are still some parts that are less considered, such as the bathroom for defecating.

That would be another story for the main character in this novel. I’m just waiting for him to take action and innovate the future of defecation.

Sllusshh...

The hug from Master Amagi’s hand felt so soft.

Poommm!!

Likewise, Master Reina’s gaze pierced my back from behind.

”Liliana, what are you doing right now?” Master Reina asked in a cold voice that made the fine hairs on the nape of my neck stand on end.

The voice made it hard for me to divert her attention, and I had to answer it quickly.

”Um, cooking fries?” I replied in a questioning tone.

”I know that! I mean... why is Amagi hugging your body from the front and not giving you space to hug you from behind?!”

”Hmm?” I mumbled softly and tried to understand Master Reina’s words.

I turned around and felt Master Amagi’s embrace, leaving no room for Master Reina to embrace me from behind. Master Amagi’s right hand wrapped around my waist and his left hand around my upper back, almost perfectly fitting a seamless embrace.

If Master Reina had forced her way into my arms from behind, her body would have surely brushed against Master Amagi’s smugly smiling hands.

These two cunning Villainesses... they didn’t intend to hug me while I cooked the fries, did they?

It would be a big problem if the hot oil exploded and hit their soft skin.

Master Reina clicked her tongue and looked around, as if looking for another wooden stool to use as a footrest.

I saw some wooden stools at the end of the kitchen, but...

Why is the leg of the wooden stool broken?

Even the broken leg of the wooden stool was still there... and it was cut cleanly as if it had been sliced by clean attack magic?

Besides Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld, who were capable of such a feat, there was only Master Amagi, whom I knew as a genius witch in the future, with her subtle magic incantations to play tricks on someone.

The fine hairs that stood up on the nape of my neck were now breaking out in a cold sweat.

I knew what happened...

It was none other than Master Amagi’s doing, wanting to save two wooden stools for use while cooking. She was chasing away Master Reina, who was trying to hug me from behind.

Oh, Great Goddess...

Why do I have to take care of this horrible Villainess anyway?

Can’t I serve them as a normal apprentice maid?

The hopes, prayers, and mild annoyance were swallowed up by the cold air that tickled the fine hairs on the nape of my neck.

As much as possible... I have to alive and survive in the middle of the night.

My hand immediately took the small pan lying beside the magic stove and took the cooking oil that coincidentally already existed in this novel world.

To myself in the past who wrote about the world’s technological structure in this novel, I am very grateful for the ease of this life.

Pyyuuurr...

Pyyuuurr...

The cooking oil that came from who knows where filled the bottom of the pan, filling half of the small pan, and my hand immediately stroked Master Amagi’s hair.

”Please help me to turn on magic stove, Master Amagi,” I said in a soft tone.

”With pleasure, Liliana!” Master Amagi replied cheerfully.

Master Amagi seemed to be in a better mood after her little prank had silenced Master Reina behind me. She continued to stare at me with a sharp gaze, trying to quell the anger building up inside her.

Master Reina’s emotional control seemed to be working well, not immediately kicking me or pinching my body.

”Hmph! I’ll be waiting at the dining table. Don’t think you’ve won, Amagi,” Master Reina said, sounding like a small warning to Master Amagi.

”I’m not thinking about winning over you, Reina. I’m just thinking about feeling... what my mother felt when my father was cooking in the kitchen. Hugging my father’s body without a single piece of clothing and breathing her little breath into my father’s chest.”

”Pfffttt!!” The burst of suppressed laughter came from Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld, who was sitting in front of Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg.

”Ahahahaha!!” The suppressed laughter broke out, and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld tried to laugh gracefully.

”I didn’t expect you to do that in front of your own daughter, Shinano,” the Duchess continued after laughing in a graceful manner.

Ploopp...

Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg closed the thick book she was reading and smiled at the Duchess.

”Hugging my own husband while he is cooking is not a crime,” she answered in self-defense.

”Even if you hug him without a clothes on your body?”

”Is that wrong? Hugging a man who has already made a contract of loyalty with me and promised to make me happy until death?”

”That’s not wrong; I was just surprised to see my friend being so attentive to her husband. At least... hold back your feelings of love so that your own daughter doesn’t imitate them. Liliana will definitely have a hard time if she has to cook and restrain herself from touching Amagi without a single clothes on her body, right?”

”I will try...” Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg replied in a calm tone.

Glaaarreee...

Bluupppp...

Gllaarree...

Blluuupppp...

Jokes from grown women talking about their home lives are unique, but... do that somewhere else!

Master Reina’s sharp gaze continued to pierce my back. The boiling oil in front of me grew even hotter with the slight movement of Master Amagi’s face as she rubbed my chest.

Caress...

Caress...

That cold, beautiful face, caressing my chest as if wanting to do something else... more than just cooking.

”Uhm, Liliana...”

”Would you be happy if you were cooking and got a naked hug from me?” Master Amagi asked in a seductive whisper.

My heart was beating so fast it almost jumped out of my chest.

”Please restrain yourself, Master Amagi...”

”That can only be done when you are an adult,” I replied.
