As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

On a night that felt cold from the wind blowing through the air conditioner, my hands were busy typing a manuscript for my long-finished novel.

A novel that tells the journey of young people who seek true love and become Great Heroes in a world that is almost destroyed by the invasion of monsters from another world.

Beep...

Beep...

Beep...

My hands continued typing, accompanied by the sounds of the medical equipment attached to my body. At this old age, I shouldn’t be forcing myself to write the manuscript for my long-completed novel.

I want to enjoy my retirement in peace as a grandmother who used to actively write fantasy and romance novels—a genre favored only by young people because of its light and easy-to-understand narratives.

Honestly, I wrote this only because I felt guilty towards the Villainess girls that I had used as scapegoats in the main character’s romance scenario.

The guilt piled up even more when I realized that these Villainess girls were too young to die and were only used to bring the main character closer to the Heroine girls.

I know it’s too late to do that, but I have to write an alternative story where these Villainess girls manage to live without being Villainesses.

As the night wore on, my hands felt weak, and my heart beat painfully.

My hands kept moving until tears rolled down my cheeks and landed on the laptop keyboard I was using.

The unbearable sounds of crying immediately broke out and made me cry inside.

”H-Huuu... Please forgive me.”

”I know your story is too tragic as a stepping stone for the main character to increase his affection for the Heroine girls.”

”With this... at least I have broken through that mistake with a new story that will help you survive from the brutal path of Villainess.” My lips felt stiff as I said those embarrassing words and wipe my tears.

There are only a few lines and a bunch of new paragraphs left to complete this story.

However, at that time...

My chest ached, and the medical equipment attached to my body started making ear-piercing noises.

Krringg!!

Krriingg!!

Krinnggg!!

The loud sound of the alarm immediately rang, inside my hospital room.

Ignoring the ear-piercing sound of the alarm, my hand immediately moved the cursor to access the online novel publishing site.

”Cough!! Cough!!” My chest suddenly felt sore, and my mouth coughed out blood.

”Haha... so funny.”

”My death is actually getting closer after completing this novel manuscript, huh?”

”If only a Goddess could grant my wish, I would see my novel manuscript end well... before my very eyes...”

My body felt increasingly heavy as my fingers moved to access the site that I often use to share novels.

Without filling in the novel title and adding the description, I immediately uploaded the entire novel manuscript that I wrote in the rest of my life.

”When other parents die leaving behind an inheritance...”

”I actually died leaving behind a legacy of novels filled with regrets about the Villainess character, huh?”

”I’m sure my children and grandchildren will laugh after seeing their grandmother leave such a funny legacy.”

Beep...

Beep...

Beep...

I, who was muttering in solitude, stared at the laptop screen and read the notification that my novel manuscript had been successfully uploaded to the novel site.

”With this...”

”I can die peacefully like a normal grandmother.”

”It’s time to hope that the religion I embrace is true.”

”I would be surprised if I met Osiris or Anubis, tough... Hahaha!”

By forcing my body to jog in the last moments, I felt the excruciating pain of a heart attack that could kill an old woman like me.

Splaakk!!

”Huuee?” Suddenly, I felt a slap on my cheek that felt painful and hot.

”You’re finally awake! Time to get up for work, Liliana!”

”E-Eeeh?!”

”Don’t sleep anymore, this time you have to learn the manners of a gentle and elegant maid. Wash your face and take a shower immediately to get ready for work!”

Stiinngg...

Buunngg...

Duuukk...

”W-What actually happened?”

”W-Wait a minute... what actually happened?”

”Did I just experienced death, and suddenly I’m being asked to work?”

”E-Eeehhh? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!”

Like the Earth being split in two, I was completely unable to process what had just happened.

Like a chick that had just lost its mother, I walked down from a bed... then move to the hallway of what looked like a mansion belonging to someone rich.

My hands were still shaking, and my heart was pounding after being slapped and then thrown out of the room, after wearing a kids maid outfit.

If I think about it, what kind of person would have the heart to throw a dying grandmother out of her room?

Wait a minute...

I already die, am I?

”Huumm...” while I was thinking about this, suddenly my eyes fell on a glass window that displayed the face of a little girl I didn’t know, but somehow... I knew her.

”Huh?”

As my hand moved, the reflection on the window glass followed the movement of my hand.

”H-Heeeh?”

Seeing the movement of my hand reflected in the glass window and the innocent face of the little girl.

I closed my eyes and straightened my train of thought as a rational person.

”I can’t possibly be reincarnated into this innocent-looking little girl’s body, right?”

”Hahaha... how could I possibly experience what the main character in my own novel experienced?”

”This kind of opportunity only happens in novels!”

Boooo!!

”Ouch!!”

While I was trying to understand the rapidly changing atmosphere around me, suddenly my back received a slap from behind.

”Liliana... Didn’t Mama tell you to immediately wash your face and get ready to work? Why are you still in the hallway?”

A terrifying sound rang out behind me, a terrifying sound that made the fine hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.

”Hiiiieeekk!!” my body screamed reflexively after hearing the voice of an adult woman that sounded terrifying.

”Haaahhh... Liliana,” I immediately glanced at her and saw the figure of the adult woman sighing with her head lowered.

”You’re too young for this kind of discipline training, aren’t you? I’m sorry for forcing you into this so suddenly. How about we take the maid training slowly?” the mature woman asked, extending her hand.

My hand immediately reached for her as if I were used to doing this.

I don’t know what happened...

But what certain is, my hands felt smaller than hers, and it made me realize that my old self had taken over the body of a little girl.

Her soft hands that feel young and wrinkle-free...

Her little footsteps, who felt cheerful...

That makes me happy though...

However, I still feel reluctant to believe that reincarnation or transmigration is real.

The longer I tried to understand what was happening, the more I was slapped by reality, which explained that I was thrown into the body of a young girl of unknown origin.

While trying to calm my confused mind, I enjoyed the pampering touch from a woman who introduced herself as my mother.

Without adequate memory...

Without knowing what happened...

Suddenly, my soul slipped out of my old body into the body of a still innocent little girl.

Leaving everything to my mother, my body was washed by the cold, shivering water and the wood fibers that gently rubbed my body.

This pampering service ended with me being made up to wear a neat... kids Maid uniform.

I don’t want to admit this.

However, it seems like...

I just got caught in another world.

I’m very sure of that!
