As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 35: Chapter 34 - A Request

From the wide open entrance of Duke Adelheid Von Blutfeld’s Library, I could see a mature woman walking in with Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld.

The Head Maid, who just ran away, leaving me along with Master Reina and Master Amagi, has returned.

I was still annoyed with the Head Maid who left quietly, but after seeing her thumb raised as if giving the code ’good job for keep alive’, it only increased the annoyance that started to appear on my facial expression.

The blood in my head was racing, and an irritated expression was about to spill out of my face. However, it was all restrained by the presence of Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld, who was accompanying her honorable guest.

A mature woman who looked so much like Master Amagi was none other than her mother.

”Amagi, it’s unusual for you to be this open with others maid?”

”You like this apprentice maid, huh?”

In a relaxed tone that sounded like she was playing with her words, the mature woman immediately pulled Master Amagi’s arm out of my embrace.

Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld, who was beside her, smiled at me, her gentle eyes fixed on Master Reina, who was sitting on my lap.

”It seems you still haven’t learned from the mistakes you’ve made, Reina.”

”Hiieeekk!!”

With just that one sentence, I could feel Master Reina’s strong grip on the collar of my maid uniform. My position, which still sitting on the sofa with Master Reina in my lap, would certainly be considered impolite from a noble perspective.

But... What can I do than accept all this?

My status as an apprentice maid did not have much influence in refusing Master Reina’s request.

”Forgive Reina for being so rude, Liliana.”

”She really is a girl who has a hard time acting like a noble, isn’t she?”

”I’m curious... Whose blood does this wild and inelegant nature come from?” Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld continued, looking confused by her own daughter’s behavior.

I could only smile calmly after seeing help coming at the right time like this.

If it had been just a second late, I would have been involved in a huge conflict between Master Reina and Master Amagi.

”Isn’t that your blood?” replied the adult woman, whom I knew as Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg.

”Don’t say something careless like that. How could I do such a rude act as a noblewoman?” replied the Duchess while pulling Master Reina’s from behind.

Plluukkk...

My lips couldn’t contain my facial expression when I saw the Duchess lift Master Reina with one hand. Her hand gripping Master Reina’s collar made me smile and subconsciously stare at her like a kitten being carried by its mother, biting at the nape of her kitten neck.

The Head Maid walked around and patted my shoulder to wake me up from enjoying this cute sight.

Like naughty kittens, they are forced to be picked up by their mother and are ready to receive punishment.

Paatt...

Paatt...

With a gentle touch on my shoulder, the Head Maid whispered in my ear to keep quiet.

”Don’t move, Liliana.”

The Head Maid’s hands immediately danced over my loose maid uniform, covering my underwear and the red rash on the nape of my neck. Those gentle, swift movements transformed me into a maid ready for duty once again.

”Ugghh...” My lips couldn’t hold back the sound of a sigh as I was about to do another job on this hot afternoon.

I don’t know why, but I want to being lazy for little moment and suddenly vanished with another job.

What is certain... Liliana’s instincts, which have blended with my consciousness, tell me that there will be a troublesome job that will happen, and I have to take responsibility for it.

Sluuush...

Sluuush...

The loose buttons on my maid uniform were now neatly undone, hiding the hint of love from Master Reina. This made her look irritated, and she glared at her mother with cold eyes. With a smile that was no less cold than Master Reina’s gaze, the Duchess give a landslide cold smile and the sweet words that came out of her lips, ”Want to get the punishment of not seeing Liliana for a month, Reina?”

”T-That’s was cheating for punishment, Mama! What kind of threat punishment is that?!!” Master Reina shouted with panic filling her face.

”Ehh? That’s not a threat but a punishment you must undergo after being rude to Young Lady Amagi and Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg, you know...”

”Ohh... and rude to Liliana too,” said the Duchess, who looked delighted with her little game punishment.

I remained silent and let the Head Maid finish her task of fixing my appearance, after sitting quietly and letting Master Reina strip the nape of my neck, which contained the mark of her love.

It’s a bit embarrassing indeed...

But that was the only way Master Reina could win her argument with Master Amagi.

From the start, I had no idea what caused their conflict. My duties as an apprentice maid, along with Liliana’s remaining memories, made it too difficult to understand the root cause of all this.

What I know for now is...

These Villainess girls are too scary to make argument for long time.

Their attitudes and behavior were terrifying enough for me to face alone, and I couldn’t even take a single step in front of Master Reina and Master Amagi. Their aura as Villainesses was truly terrifying, as one wrong move could determine my horrible future.

Also theirs fate...

The fate of Master Reina, who will become a Villainess in the future, is indeed dark, as is the fate of Master Amagi, who will become her loyal allies in the future.

If only I could change that future...

I would have definitely written something like, ”Reina Adelheid Von Blutfeld and Amagi Vii Lichtberg are close friends who trust each other so much, they can even understand each other without saying a word.”

I know, it’s just my naive wish as a writer and creator of their dark storyline.

However, my naive self... actually wanted to see that happen.

After my appearance returned to being an elegant and graceful apprentice maid thanks to the touch of the Head Maid’s hand, I immediately stood up from the sofa.

”Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld...”

”Marchioness Shinano VII Lichtberg...”

My lips felt stiff after calling out their names, which were filled with responsibility and honor as high-ranking nobles.

The courage I mustered to call their names would be in vain if I stopped halfway.

I tried to suppress this nervousness and put forward my naivety to express my wish to change their dark fate in the future, little by little.

I immediately bowed respectfully.

”Please allow me to train to become a maid who can serve Master Reina and Master Amagi in the future!” I said, holding back my fear of the Duchess and Marchioness rejection.

Silence fell over the Duke Adelheid Von Blutfeld Library.

Baddumpp...

Baddumpp...

Baddumpp...

My heartbeat was racing so fast that it could be heard in my ears.

In this silent silence, I felt hesitant and prepared myself not to be too surprised by Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld’s decision.

”I DO NOT AGREE TO IT!!” Master Reina shouted in a loud voice.

”I AGREE!!” Master Amagi shouted in a loud voice, no less than Master Reina.

Those two opposing voices...

I already knew it would come from Master Reina and Master Amagi.

Oh no, It seems like... I sparked an argument between the two of them, again.
