As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 9: Chapter 8 - Surprise Feeding

At this moment, I just realized something is wrong about this esteemed Master of mine.

Besides her attitude and behavior that are suitable as a Villainess girl, this Master of mine is also suitable as a clever torturer.

How come I get that conclusion?

Uh, well...

Choommmp!!

”Huuuppuuu!!” I screamed in pain after a large piece of fruit was forced into my mouth.

Yes, this is what I mean by a clever torturer.

Normal people usually cut fruit into small pieces and then feed it to others, but my Master did something different!

Apart from the large pieces of fruit, the skin of the fruit is not removed!

Bitter...

Sour...

Sweet...

My tongue was filled with a mixture of contrasting and strong flavors.

I don’t know what sin I have committed against Master Reina; now I have to bear that sin along with worldly torment.

Am I Annoyed?

Yes, of course!

I was annoyed with my mouth constantly moving as I ate the large pieces of fruit that I hadn’t peeled properly.

”Open your mouth wide, Liliana,” said Master Reina as she guided the large piece of fruit into my mouth.

”Master Reina, please do it at a slow pace. My mouth can’t chew fruit pieces quickly, you know!” Unconsciously, I replied to my Master in a loud and annoyed tone.

Choompp!!

”Koohhookk!!”

However, that didn’t make my Master self-conscious about her pushy behavior.

The large piece of fruit went back into my mouth along with the sound of her eerie little laugh.

The laughter of a Villainess girl is indeed different; the fine hairs on the nape of my neck even stand up when I hear her laughter.

I do intend to save her from a dark future, but with her current nature and behavior, it’ll be a difficult and troublesome task.

I don’t even know if this novel’s world is based on the main story or an alternate timeline that I wrote before I died.

”Don’t make silly excuses, hurry up and eat this!” my Master complained as she picked up a large piece of fruit and prepared to put it in my mouth.

”T-Time out! I can’t take it anymore!” With such strong resistance, I tried to buy time and swallowed the piece of fruit against my will.

Gluupp...

Forcing a little girl to swallowing large pieces of fruit without chewing them thoroughly was a mistake, and it was my duty to correct that mistake.

”Master Reina, you don’t know how to properly feed a patient!” I said sternly as my throat ached.

”Swallowing that big piece of fruit hurts, you know!” I continued, my voice even louder than before.

With my facial expression looking annoyed like this, Master Reina glared at me and got ready to get angry.

”I’ve been so kind as to feed you after listening to Mama’s advice, and you’re protesting this?” my Master replied with an annoyed expression.

”I’ve gone to the trouble of peeling and cutting the fruit myself!” my Master continued, showing me the pieces of fruit on a small wooden plate.

The fruit slices Master Reina demonstrated looked amateurish. The cuts were asymmetrical, and the skin wasn’t peeled properly.

”No wonder it tastes bitter, Master Reina didn’t bother to cut and peel the fruit!” I commented in an excited tone.

”I know! I just learned it for the first time!” Master Reina replied in an excited tone.

Julia, who was beside me, seemed to want to say something, but changed her mind after Master Reina and I glanced at her with sharp eyes so that she wouldn’t interfere in this matter.

Glaaare...

Glaaare...

That sharp glare was enough to silence Julia temporarily. Taking advantage of that, I prepared to straighten out Master Reina’s bad attitude and behavior.

”With all due respect, Master Reina. Taking care of a patient isn’t easy and easy at the same time. Master Reina just needs to cut the fruit into small pieces that fit the patient’s mouth.” While saying this, I immediately took one of the remaining pieces of fruit and brought it to Master Reina’s mouth.

Ploopp...

With gentle movements, I tried to be impolite to Master Reina within safe limits. As an apprentice maid, this action was clearly disrespectful.

My Master’s small lips began to part, and a smile spread across my face as I saw the golden opportunity before me. Slowly, the large piece of fruit entered Master Reina’s small mouth.

Sluuppp...

”Hmmn... Huuu~” Master Reina seemed to have difficulty eating this large piece of fruit.

”It’s really hard to eat a big piece of fruit like this, isn’t it?” I said as I pulled back my hand that was holding the piece of fruit.

Master Reina’s saliva was seen forming a straight line between the piece of fruit and her lips.

”If I feel it directly, it’s indeed difficult,” said Master Reina, who was starting to understand this small problem.

”That’s how I feel, Master Reina.”

”S-Sorry, I didn’t know it would taste that bad. Like horses being forced to eat grass and drink until they get fat.”

”That’s the process of making a fake meaty meat,” I replied quickly.

”A fake meaty meat? What’s that?” my Master asked after hearing my quick reply.

”It’s nothing, it’s not that important.”

While searching for a new topic of conversation, my hand immediately reached for the small wooden plate Master Reina was carrying. The fruit’s poor cut and bitter skin made me reluctant to eat any more.

”The pieces of fruit are too big, Master Reina. How do you cut them?” I asked, opening a new topic so as not to return to the topic of fake meaty meat.

”By use my hands.”

”Yes, I know it will use your hands. What I mean is... why is the cut so bad?”

”I use my hands to peel it, Liliana. When I held a knife in the kitchen, all the Maids there immediately forbade me from using a knife. So I just cut with both hands like turning a doorknob.”

”Eh?” I couldn’t hide my surprise.

My master is really too unique, isn’t she?

Not only did our meeting begin with a kick of both feet in the air, but these large pieces of fruit were also done with bare hands.

What physical abilities does my Master have?

Too scary for a little girl!

I shook my head and cleared the bitter fruit skin in my mouth, with a light drink and peel some fruit.

Gluupp...

Gluupp...

While my hands were cleaning the fruit skin, Master Reina was silent and observed the movement of my hands as they peeled the fruit skin.

”...”

”...”

There was no conversation between us.

After the skin of the fruit was peeled off, Master Reina started asking me questions.

”Does it matter to clean it... Properly?”

”Yes, it’s very important. The skin of the fruit will cause a bitter taste in the mouth. So the skin must be peeled off first before eating.”

”Ohh, I just found out that reasons,” Master Reina muttered with an innocent face, as if she had just found out about this kind of thing.

Suddenly, I thought of something else that could be used to prank Master Reina.

”Master Reina, did you know... usually weak patients who cannot eat are fed in special ways?”

”I know!! Mama also often eats porridge when she’s sick and has no appetite.”

”That’s one of special way, but there are other ways, you know...”

”Another way? Like what?”

Like a fish ready to be caught on a hook, I immediately bit into a piece of fruit that had just been cleaned of its bitter skin and chewed it until it was smooth in my mouth.

The sensation of the sweet and fresh taste of fruit filled my mouth.

”Hmmn~” because it felt good, I accidentally enjoyed the sweet taste in my mouth for a while longer before bringing my lips closer to Master Reina’s lips.

”L-Liliana?”

”What would you do—”

Chuupp...

Without any resistance from Master Reina, our lips touched each other, and my tongue pushed the smooth piece of fruit into her mouth.

Gluupp...

After she swallowing the smooth piece of fruit, I immediately released my lips from Master Reina’s lips.

”That’s one way to feed a patient who doesn’t have an appetite, Master Reina,” I said, feeling satisfied with this little prank.

Bluuush...

For some reason unknown to me, Master Reina was silent for a long time with her face flushed pink.

Uhm, I didn’t go too far in teasing her, did I?
