As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 4: Chapter 3 - I Feel Pity To My Master Little Brother

I really want to change the fate of this Villainess girl.

But, it seems... it will take quite a long time with her nature and behavior that forces me to breathe heavily.

”Huufftt...”

This small body...

I was forced to let out a heavy breath after seeing my Master dragging my feet, back to the kitchen.

Without needing to see a mirror, I could already guess the expression on my face, which was sullen and annoyed at the rude actions of a respectable noble girl.

”Master Reina...” I tried to call out to her in a gentle tone, with a forced smile.

”Yes, Liliana?” my Master replied with a smile on her face that felt flat.

”Are you feeling happy?” I asked to make sure.

”Yes! I’m feeling happy right now.”

”Haaahh... I thought so,” I replied while letting out another heavy breath and accepting the divine punishment that came from my own handwriting.

My esteemed master...

It turns out, she couldn’t control her overflowing emotions, and the proof was that she was dragging my feet into the kitchen.

Sreettt...

Sreettt...

My body was being dragged on the floor, and I could only surrender to the situation that was happening at that moment.

I don’t know what kind of bad karma I’m experiencing right now; it’s like I’m getting a punishment from a Goddess after writing about the complicated nature and behavior of this Villainess girl in my novel.

In the ”language” of this Villainess girl, dragging someone feet is much easier than walking beside them to making sure they don’t run away.

Logically, that’s not wrong...

But in terms of manners and politeness, this looks like a goat being dragged to the slaughterhouse!

Sreett...

Sreett...

My body still dragged into the kitchen, which was still filled with maids who were having breakfast.

Seeing my body being dragged and the position of my head, which was upset about this treatment, my mother, who was peeking from a long distance, just kept quiet and thought that this was a normal thing to happen.

”Master Reina, Can I ask about something?” I asked Master Reina to make her stop.

”Oh? A question from Liliana?” she replied, tilting her head and releasing her hand that was dragging my leg.

I immediately stood on my two feet after being dragged by her and gave a respectful greeting as a Maid, by bowing my body.

”With all due respect, Master Reina.”

”What you did earlier... it was an inappropriate act for a noble lady like you,” I said while bowing my body in front of her.

By giving a respectful greeting like this, I tried to give advice that could improve her character and behavior to be more elegant as a noble girl.

Ctaanng...

Krraanngg...

As I was giving my respects and saying these words, I heard the sound of a spoon being used by the Maids who were having breakfast in the kitchen falling.

”Eh? Why? Isn’t that much more efficient than walking together?” replied my Master, who didn’t seem to understand my words well.

I know her way of thinking is unique and gives me a headache.

But, that’s because I wrote about her nature and behavior, which can think efficiently without caring about the social norms around her!

”Dragging other people’s feet is indeed efficient...”

”But that only applies to enemies who have surrendered!” I shouted, racking my brain for a logical answer.

However, the answer that came out of my mouth actually made my respected Master confused.

”Eh? But Mama always drags Papa in this way to sleep with her in the main bedroom,” replied my Master with a rebuttal that made me want to curse the Duke and the Duchess who had given this wrong knowledge to my little Master.

”For that one thing... it is indeed necessary. Considering that the Duke always works non-stop all day long, which makes the Duchess have to drag her feet to sleep in their main bedroom...” I said in an increasingly weak tone.

”Liliana?”

I still paid my respects to Master Reina and raised my hunched posture to stand up straight.

”All I can say is... dragging someone’s feet is an unbecoming act for a beautiful noble lady like you, Master Reina!” I said, looking into her eyes.

”...”

Kraanngg...

The moment I said something like this, I heard the sound of plates breaking around me.

My eyes were still fixed on Master Reina’s red eyes.

”U-Uuhhh...”

I don’t know what was happening, buh I could see my Master’s gaze shift to look to the side and lower her head.

”I-Is it that bad, Liliana?”

”Normally, it’s bad.”

”GAAAHH!!”

Suddenly, my Master’s facial expression looked like she was surprised by something, and she bowed her body towards me.

”P-PLEASE FORGIVE ME!”

”I DIDN’T KNOW THAT DRAGGING SOMEONE’S LEGS WAS A BAD THING!”

”I’M USED TO DRAGGING MY LITTLE BROTHER’S LEGS LIKE THIS!”

”So... U-Uumm... I-I already thought this was a pretty normal thing to do because I’ve done it so many times to my own little brother,” said my Master as she slowly lifted her bowed body upwards.

I don’t know what kind of habit made her think that it was a normal thing to do.

Not only the Duke and Duchess responsible for this, but I also have to take responsibility as a Maid who is the same age as her.

”A-Are you angry about this, Liliana?” my Master asked, staring at my face with her cold eyes.

”I’m not angry. I just feel strange...”

”Feeling strange from what?” my Master muttered with a tilt of her head.

”I-I just felt strange about my Master’s hobby of dragging someone’s feet with a cheerful expression on her face. After knowing that it was a habit and considered normal. I actually felt worried about what I would experience in the future...” I said while lowering my head down after realizing there were many things I had to fix for my Master’s future.

”L-Liliana?” my Master said, calling my name and walking towards me.

”I-I didn’t know it was rude. Please don’t be mad at me. I just couldn’t hold myself to drink the tea you made yesterday.”

”Oh! I almost forgot!”

Caress...

Caress...

My head was suddenly stroked by my Master’s hand as if she were looking for something.

”Eh? Small injuries?”

As my Master’s hand stroked my hair to find the scar caused by the thrown teacup, I suddenly had a flashback of a memory about the Doctor who worked at the Duke’s Mansion had treated this wound on my head.

”It has been cured by the Doctor who works in this Mansion, Master Reina.”

”I’m fine, no need to worry about myself.”

My Master’s tiny hands stopped stroking my hair, and she looked at me with a gaze filled with guilt.

”I’m sorry, I couldn’t control my emotions well at that time, Liliana...”

Her hand suddenly pulled my hair slowly, and her tiny lips kissed my head, which had received the teacup thrown at me.

Chuupp...

With this little kiss, I could feel my Master’s sincere apology and her regret for not being able to control her emotions.

After the little kiss ended, I could faintly see a small smile on her cold face.

”I apologize for my actions at that time, Liliana.”

”There’s no need to think too deeply about it, Master Reina.”
