As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 20: Chapter 19 - Sleep Party Invitation

I felt like my Master’s head had just been hit by a hard object.

Which noble girl in her right mind would ask an apprentice maid to sleep together?

If Master Reina’s head hadn’t been hit by a hard object, this would have just been a joke used to tease me.

”Sleeping with Master Reina?” I asked to make sure I hadn’t heard it wrong.

”Yes, sleep with me, Liliana!” Master Reina replied with tears in her eyes, as if begging me.

Kirraa...

Kirraa...

The glint of her beautiful red eyes sent my thoughts into a tailspin. As an apprentice maid not yet officially assigned to the Duke’s residence, I couldn’t possibly fulfill Master Reina’s request.

It was written in the handbook of maid etiquette and manners distributed by the Head Maid. In a particular clause, as a result of Liliana painstakingly memorizing it from her past, there was a rule that apprentice maids were only allowed to work half a day.

There is another rule stating that apprentice maids may refuse the orders of the house’s residents, because they are not yet bound by the sacred rules of maids, which require them to work hard to fulfill their Master’s orders.

In other words, I can refuse Master Reina’s request at any time.

”I would like to say yes, but that is a task that the Exclusive Maid can do,” I replied while racking my brain and remembering the World-building that I had written with my own hand.

”Eh? You don’t want to sleep with me, Liliana?”

”I-It’s not that I don’t want to sleep with Master Reina. It’s just... I’m still an apprentice maid here,” I said while lowering my gaze and relaxing my hands downwards.

”That doesn’t matter to me, because you will be my Exclusive Maid!” Master Reina whispered as she placed her hand on my chin and pulled my chin up to look into her eyes.

The look in her red eyes was serious, and her words sounded so serious.

I know that Master Reina is being serious right now, but rules are rules.

”Let’s do that after I become Master Reina’s Exclusive Maid. For now, want to try sleeping in my room... in trial mode?” I don’t know what I said, but it came out of my mouth.

”Does that mean... I’ll be sleeping in Liliana’s room. U-Umm... just the two of us?”

”Ugh, not just the two of us. Ah! That’s not what I meant. You know, Master Reina... M-My mother is also sleeping in my room, so that means Master Reina will be sleeping with me... and my mother too,” I replied with a play on words that made my tongue twist.

”...” Master Reina looked confused by my answer and tilted her head.

Instead of explaining a situation that Master Reina finds hard to understand, I just need to show her, right?

I immediately picked up my fallen toiletries and dirty clothes, then moved to grab Master Reina’s hand.

”Liliana?”

Master Reina followed my footsteps as they moved towards my room.

Brraaakk!!

”Tadaaaiimmaa!!” With a polite shout, I kicked open the door of the room my mother and I were using.

My kick on the bedroom door sounded loud; it surprised Master Reina, and my mother, who was changing clothes, was shocked.

”L-Liliana! Don’t surprise your mother like that!!” my mother shouted as she covered her body, which was only wearing underwear.

”Ah, sorry, habit...” I replied without guilt.

Um, that’s not entirely wrong.

For some reason, my body moved on its own and kicked open my bedroom door, as if I knew that my mother was changing clothes inside.

The corners of my lips lifted upwards, and I felt happy with this little prank.

I guess... Liliana’s habits and behavior have entered my body and become my new personality.

”Hmmm...” with a casual movement of her head, my mother looked at Master Reina, who was behind me, and was silent for a few seconds.

”...”

”...”

”...”

”E-Eeekk!! W-Why is Young Lady Reina in a place like this?!” My mother screamed further after seeing Master Reina, who was already wearing pajamas.

My mother’s response was quite slow to realize Master Reina’s presence.

”Because we’re going to sleep together??” I replied with an innocent expression.

My mother’s face turned pale after hearing what I said.

”A-Aaakkk... Aaahh!!”

Pooooff...

Bluuush...

After my mother’s face turned pale, I could see her quickly changing into casual clothes. I also saw her tidying the bed and neatly arranging the pillows.

My mother isn’t possessed by a demon, right?

Why is she being so active?

”Um, M-Mom?” With a gentle call, I wanted to make sure that my mother was okay.

A messy bed now becomes tidy in an instant.

Did I just see my mother’s hidden skill?

”Young Miss, please forgive us if this room is a mess. T-The bed is comfortable enough for Liliana and me to sleep in.”

”I can guarantee that the bed is soft and comfortable.”

”I-I will sleep in the other Maid’s room to make sure you two sleep in comfortable conditions...” My mother said with a sweet smile on her face.

I could only stand and be silent after seeing my mother’s strange behavior.

I just got sold by my own mother, huh?

And his sweet daughter of hers had been sold to Master Reina and looked sincere like that!

Is Liliana a future asset for her?

I wanted to be angry after seeing this, but my body felt sleepy.

Without any energy left to protest, I immediately pulled Master Reina’s hand to my room.

If the Duchess or the Head Maid saw this, I can guarantee the look on their faces would be so shocked they would have a heart attack.

”S-Sorry to bother you, Liliana...”

”E-Excuse me...”

Master Reina seemed awkward as she entered my room. With her light footsteps, I could see her awkwardness as she looked around.

The maid’s room I shared with my mother lacked the lavish decor of a noble’s chamber. It contained a simple dressing table, a small bedside table, a plain wooden wardrobe, a clothes hanger on the wall, and a few piles of dirty clothes ready for the next day’s wash.

”Master Reina, do you mind sleeping in a place like this?” I asked Master Reina.

”I don’t mind... as long as I sleep in the same bed as Liliana,” replied Master Reina, who seemed unconcerned with the simple condition of my room.

”Ugh, I feel bad for the Duke and Duchess about this.”

”I don’t feel guilty, don’t worry!” Master Reina replied with a sweet smile on her face.

Kirraaa...

Kirraaa...

Ugh! It was a slyly sweet smile.

How could I possibly refuse it!

”Oh! By the way... there’s one thing I want to see and want you to do, Liliana.”

”Hmmm?” I put on a curious face and had a bad feeling about this.

”Y-You know... I have a habit of sleeping after my long hair is tidied up first. Can you tidy my hair first before we sleep, Liliana?”

Puuukkk...

Master Reina immediately sat on my bed and made the rabbit doll that was on my bed fall.

”Master Reina... you just want to be pampered before bed, right?” I replied with a sigh and quickly grabbed the comb from the dressing table.

Without wasting any more time and holding back the increasingly heavy drowsiness on my eyelids, I immediately combed Master Reina’s hair with the remaining focus that was still held.

Srreeettt...

Srreeett...

Master Reina’s long, silky hair was combed well. I made sure her hair ends were free of split ends and unraveled her elegant braided hairstyle.

”Fufu~ seeing you as my Exclusive Maid...”

”It doesn’t seem too bad to happen soon, does it?”

Master Reina seems to be in a good mood at the moment.
