As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 31: Chapter 30 - Villainess Blank Stare

”Liliaaannaa!!”

A scream came from Master Reina, who had entered the library and was running towards me.

I, who was sitting with Master Amagi, immediately stood up to welcome Master Reina, who looked exhausted after receiving punishment from Duke and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld.

A tired expression, sweat mixed with the scent of her perfume, and a sweet smile that tried to mask her exhaustion—all of it was visible on Master Reina’s face.

She was pretending to be strong despite her exhausted condition.

With such a punishment, who’s little girl wouldn’t be exhausted after being tied to a horse saddle and dragged into a slightly... inhumane punishment?

Uhm to be honest, the punishment looks unique in my eyes...

A little bit extreme for someone who has never seen such a punishment, but really worth it.

”Welcome back, Master Reina,” I said after standing up from the sofa and walking to meet Master Reina.

Tap...

Tap...

With quick, unsteady footsteps, I prepared to bow and pay my respects to Master Reina. However, Master Reina immediately interrupted me as she ran and jumped towards me.

”Master Reina, that’s a bit dangerous to do inside the library,” I wanted to warn Master Reina about that, but it was too late.

Master Reina’s small leap sent her light, petite body hurtling towards me, who was standing there to greet her. My gaze, which had seen time slow down after being embraced by Master Reina, now felt the heat of the sun that had burned Master Reina’s skin during her punishment.

Besides, her red hair also felt hot as if it had been sun-dried in the sun for a long time.

I remember my school days when it was always hot when I came home from school in the afternoon.

Buuggghh...

I tried to hold Master Reina’s body weight as she flew towards me, but I wasn’t strong enough to hold her and I fell onto the sofa.

Luckily, it was a high-quality, plush sofa, so there was no back pain I feels.

”Hmph! this is my revenge for being punished by Mama! Let’s make a mess in this library!” Master Reina shouted after jumping towards me and landing on top of me.

”Master Reina, it’s also your fault. You were punished by Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld for failing the noble etiquette and manners exam, right?” I replied, supporting Master Reina’s body on top of me.

”U-Uh, T-That’s true... but that’s no reason to punish me like that!” Master Reina shouted, making my ears hurt.

”There’s no helping it, Master Reina. You are a noblewoman with a high status among the other nobles. You should be able to set an example for the other noblewomen by demonstrating the elegant etiquette and manners of a noblewoman.”

While explaining important matters and guiding Master Reina to the right path of being noble, I tried to control Master Reina’s emotions, who was not too enthusiastic about learning the etiquette and manners of nobility as a hard thing to do.

As a noblewoman who will be the victim of the love between the heroine and the main character, noble etiquette and manners are not importance to Master Reina arrogant attitude, even throwing away a glass of wine served at a noble banquet... it feels perfectly normal and natural things to do for Master Reina.

Her arrogance and pride to being a noblewoman are the key to the heroine’s, which can be exploited to steal the main character hearts. To prevent this from happening, I need to make Master Reina aware of the importance of learning noble etiquette and manners.

Caress...

Caress...

Under Master Reina’s embrace, exhausted and breathing heavily, I could smell the sweet scent of her sweat. It was so sweet and intoxicating that I didn’t even realize I was stroking her hair.

”I-I have no motivation to learn the etiquette and manners of nobility, Liliana,” Master Reina said in a weak tone and pushed her face to rub my chest.

”I think... I’ll be fine as long as there’s no invitation to a noble party—”

Sniff...

Sniff...

”Huuumm!!!”

”W-What is this?!”

”Why can I smell someone else’s scent on your chest, Liliana?”

Patt...

Patt...

When Master Reina rubbed her face on my chest, suddenly her expression changed after sniffing my chest, patting my chest as if she was getting rid of the unpleasant smell from my body.

”Ugh, what is this disgusting smell?!” Master Reina grumbled, still patting my chest.

”...” I could only remain silent when I saw Master Reina’s strange behavior.

From the previous conversation, it seems that Master Reina was unaware that there were Master Amagi and the Head Maid in this library room.

Graapp...

As Master Reina’s hand was patting my chest to sweep away the other scent that was left on my chest, her hand was held by Master Amagi until their eyes met each other.

”Good afternoon, Reina! Long time no see!!” said Master Amagi while smiling stiffly at Reina.

”Tch!! This boring girl again,” Master Reina grumbled and showed her displeased expression to Master Amagi.

Master Reina didn’t return Master Amagi’s warm greeting, making me worry about her future, which was on the brink of death of her own attitude. Her failure in the noble etiquette and manners test was demonstrated before my eyes, leaving the Head Maid holding her head.

This was truly... a real slap that was hard to explain logically and left me at a loss for what to do.

Just looking at the interactions between Master Reina and Master Amagi, they are not friendly with each other.

Wait a moment...

Aren’t they in the same noble group as a Villainess team?

Why are they looking at each other with cold eyes and expressions filled with hostility?

What’s wrong between the two of them?

”It’s been a long time since we met, Reina. Are you, okay?” Master Amagi asked as she moved closer to my shoulder.

With the cold and threatening look in her red eyes, I suddenly felt a strong pull from Master Reina’s hand that wanted to hug my body tightly.

”I’m fine and the same as usual.”

”Y-You... Locked yourself in this library again, Amagi?” Master Reina asked coldly, seemingly forced to speak to Master Amagi.

Meanwhile, I could see the Head Maid moving backwards and intending to leave me alone in this chaotic situation.

Who knows what happened between Master Reina and Master Amagi?

It seems... they hate each other and don’t get along as fellow noble girls in same faction.

Even though in the storyline that I wrote with my own two hands wroted ”they” are Villainess girls who work together to destroy the reputation of the Heroines who have succeeded in captivating everyone eyes.

Not being hostile to each other like this!

”Yes, I’m currently holed up in this library with Liliana. If you don’t mind... could you please come out now and not disturb my lovely time with Liliana?” Master Amagi replied as she plucked up the courage to grab my arm and hug it.

Srrusshh...

Master Reina’s pupils were now black after seeing Master Amagi’s courage in hugging my arm.

”Aah, I see now. So the stench on Liliana’s chest came from you,” Master Reina muttered as she stared at me with blank eyes.

Master Reina’s red eyes, now turned into a blank stare, glanced at Master Amagi, who coincidentally was staring at her with a blank stare as well.

W-What is going on?

Cttaakk...

Just as I was panicking in my mind, I suddenly saw the Head Maid safely exit the library, leaving me surrounded by the Villainess girls, who were all staring blankly at me.

W-Whatever happens...

I hope, I can still survive after this stare...

Oh my Goodness in this world, please help me...
