As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 12: Chapter 11 - The Problem In The Morning

The best part of someone working at a young age is being able to go on vacation and still get paid as if they were working.

In the morning, after a terrifying night of being trapped in Master Reina’s possessive prison, I started the day by drinking warm soup made by Julia.

Putting aside the problems that arose during the night, it is a beautiful day to take a vacation and recuperate.

In one night, the lump on my head was compressed well, thanks to the treatment carried out by Julia.

However, there is one drawback to Julia’s treatment method: there is no artistic aesthetic to using bandages!

”Julia...” I said in a soft tone and enjoyed the warm soup that Julia gave me for breakfast.

”Don’t complain, just enjoy my homemade soup for your recovery!” Julia shouted, giving a wrong answer to what I wanted to ask her.

”I don’t want to complain about your warm soup. If you say it tastes good, I think you need to put in more effort to make it enjoyable. Oh, wait, that’s not the problem!” I shouted as I placed the nearly empty bowl of warm soup on the small table beside me.

”Oh, I’m glad to hear that. Huh? Isn’t that a sounds like you protesting about something?” Julia replied, glancing at me with an annoyed look as she enjoyed her breakfast.

Unlike me, who was given breakfast in the form of warm soup, the breakfast that Julia was eating was a simple food dish that could be eaten by everyone.

Slices of bread and warm soup containing chicken broth.

Not too bad for simple food, but how come it’s no different from fast food from Earth?

Am I transmigrating into a novel that has the same culture and traditions as on Earth?

Who is the author?

Not very creative!

Ah, that’s right. I’m the author!

”Who’s complaining? I only called you to change the compression bandage on the bump on my head. The cold sensation has lessened, and the bump on my head is starting to hurt... again,” I said with a sad and pained expression on my face.

”Ugh, this is the third time I’ve changed the compression bandage on your head. Can’t you save my time and be grateful for the bandage on your head?”

”It’s your own fault for not being skilled at applying bandages! Why am I the one being blamed now?!” I argued in a tone that didn’t really care about the matter.

Because Julia’s responsibility at this time is to take care of me on the orders of the Duchess in her free time.

YEEEAH!

WE TAKE A HOLIDAY FROM WORK AND STILL GET A SALARY, IT’S VERY GOOD!

Ooppss... I almost looked happy and almost forgot the expression on my face, which should have been in pain.

While maintaining my facial expression of pain, I tried to calm my pounding heart that was happy about this holiday.

During the rest of this short holiday, I need to straighten out my goals in the world of the novel I have written with my own hands.

Writing a novel and experiencing what I write about in it are two different things.

Between fantasy and reality...

But unfortunately, it is more towards the realistic reality.

Even though I am fine in this world, the core story in this novel is not fine.

The background of this story is a world that is in chaos due to an invasion of monsters that are trying to attack human territory.

The monsters in this world are divided into two parts, namely monsters that can think and stupid monsters that can only be controlled by stronger monsters.

The core story of this novel is that heroic tale of the main character and the heroine, who have become part of his harem, have great powers that are able to save human territory from the invasion of intelligent monsters who are adept at manipulating human race.

For the current situation, I can still breathe a sigh of relief because the prologue of this novel has not yet begun.

But after the prologue starts, what should I do?

Waiting for the main character to awaken his powers?

Or let Master Reina grow into a cruel Villainess girl?

Wait a moment!

Why do I think badly about my own Master?

If Master Reina’s character and behavior could be changed for the better story, then she wouldn’t have to bother being a Villainess girl like in the alternative story.

My motivation to change Master Reina’s fate is growing!

”Okay, let’s do this!” my voice squealed, unconsciously slipping out.

”Yes... Yes... I’m doing this. Please be patient!” said Julia, looking annoyed and rushing to remove the bandage from my head.

I’m not talking to Julia, though...

She just blurted things out, even though I was enthusiastically building motivation to restore Master Reina’s honor and dignity in the future.

Craaakk...

As Julia was removing the bandage from my head, the door to the room opened and revealed Master Reina walking in.

Tap...

Tap...

Her cute little footsteps almost made me laugh; luckily, she managed to hold it in well.

Master Reina entered the room carrying a wooden tray containing a glass cup with a liquid that looked like milk.

At my age, having possessed the body of a healthy young girl, I am still forced to drink a glass of milk?

This is no different from the standard of healthy living on Earth!

Ah, that’s right. I was the one who wrote similar health standards on Earth.

”Oh, you’re awake, Liliana? I thought you were still asleep and... U-Uumm, are you cheating on me?”

Gloom!!

My shoulders suddenly felt heavy after hearing those words.

”Huh?” I could only be confused and give a stupid response.

At that moment, Master Reina placed a glass of milk on the small table and threw down the wooden tray she was carrying.

”Dejavu!!” I screamed and dodged the surprise attack.

Boonkk!!

With the dodging technique learned from experience, I could see the path of Master Reina’s wooden tray that hit Julia’s face.

The sound of the wooden tray hitting hard was clear, and reflexively, I apologized to Julia.

”S-Sorry...” I said, feeling a little guilty.

”And Master Reina, don’t throw the wooden tray carelessly!” I continued, directing my gaze towards Master Reina.

For some reason, Master Reina looked more annoyed than guilty.

Sluuush...

As I spoke, the bandage on my head came off, and the pain returned. With this kind of pain, even talking was painful.

”Aaawawa... Aaahhh!” I screamed while holding back the pain from the lump on my head.

”L-Liliana!”

While I was screaming in pain, Master Reina’s hand stroked the lump on my head and pressed it hard.

Nyyuutt...

”AAAHHH!!” Of course, I screamed after receiving the caress from Master Reina’s hand.

”Why are you pressing my lump?!!” I continued to scream in a voice that was almost crying.

”The lump on my head has gotten smaller, but that doesn’t mean it’s safe to touch!”

Looks like... I’m going to suffer on my day off.

Was this instant karma after taking a kindness on the Duchess the night before?

Or is this karma from after dodging Master Reina’s wooden tray throw?

If that really happened... that would be scary!

The buff from the Villainess girl was so strong that I had to get instant karma for avoiding it.

”I-I didn’t mean to. S-Sorry, Liliana...” said my Master while stroking my cheek after the area of my head was not safe for stroking.

”I’m sure it was very intentional, Master Reina.”

”No... no... this was purely unintentional. Well, you could say I forgot it,” replied Master Reina while averting her gaze.

Caress...

Caress...

”Forgot? There’s no way Master Reina forget something like that...” I replied in annoyance and puffed out my cheeks.

”I-I totally forgot it, Liliana.”

Uhm, whether it was a lie or an honest answer, I could only hope that Master Reina could control her emotions better.
