The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 348: Chapter 348 Brother-in-law? _1

Samantha Tate?

Camille Rhodes looked at Samantha Tate, who was intimately holding on to Carson Flores with shock on her face, which quickly turned into realization.

So Samantha Tate was the woman who put Carson Flores in such a difficult position!

Shirley Miller’s cousin!

They even looked at least eighty to ninety percent alike, just like twins!

In that instant, Camille Rhodes finally understood everything.

Carson Flores had married his cousin Shirley Miller and registered the marriage, but at the same time, he had fallen for her sister Samantha Tate. He had been thinking about divorcing Shirley Miller and openly being with her sister after, but he hadn’t expected that during their marriage, they would get along and develop a fondness for each other!

Ha ha ha!

This is just too interesting!

It seems like neither Shirley Miller nor Samantha Tate knows about Carson Flores’s relationship with the other, do they?

Camille Rhodes glanced at Carson Flores, whose expression was subtly complex, and felt extremely pleased. She always felt that the truly interesting events were about to start tonight.

”Miss Tate, hello.”

Camille Rhodes smiled and extended her hand, shaking hands with Samantha Tate warmly, without showing any hostility or tension.

Samantha Tate seemed a bit puzzled by Camille Rhodes’s attitude, but of course, she wouldn’t show weakness. She smiled and reached out to shake hands with Camille Rhodes, expressing her equally strong demeanor.

”Miss Tate, you are Carson Flores’s girlfriend, right?”

Facing Camille Rhodes’s question, Samantha Tate suddenly felt a twinge of guilt, knowing that Carson Flores was married. Under such a premise, admitting to be Carson Flores’s girlfriend in front of others was indeed embarrassing.

Camille Rhodes must know about Carson Flores being married, right?

Maybe she even knows who Carson Flores’s wife is?

Samantha Tate thought for a moment. Camille Rhodes’s relationship with Carson Flores was unclear too; she certainly wasn’t his wife. In that case, they were all in the same boat, weren’t they? Who would be afraid of whom?

”Yes, I am. Do you have anything to say to me, Miss Rhodes?”

Camille Rhodes waved her hand lightly and laughed, ”Miss Tate, you needn’t have any hostility towards me. I am not Carson Flores’s wife; I am, at most, his woman — nothing more. We have no conflict...”

With Camille Rhodes saying so, Samantha Tate naturally relaxed.

She turned to look at Carson Flores, hoping to hear something from him.

Carson Flores gave a wry smile and stretched out his hand to hold Samantha Tate: ”Yueyue, take a seat. Since we’ve all run into each other today, let’s just say what needs to be said.”

Samantha Tate suddenly became nervous and grabbed Carson Flores’s arm: ”Brother, I didn’t force you to say anything...”

Carson Flores smiled and gently tugged Samantha Tate’s face: ”What I want to tell you is about my wife.”

Samantha Tate blinked and suddenly pointed at Camille Rhodes: ”Miss Rhodes, does she know?”

Carson Flores nodded: ”She knows.”

Samantha Tate bit her lip, her eyes showing a hint of grievance.

She knew nothing, yet Camille Rhodes knew everything, leaving her in the dark...

Camille Rhodes chuckled: ”Miss Tate, he originally didn’t intend to tell me, but I guessed the truth myself, and then he acknowledged it.”

Camille Rhodes’s words made Samantha Tate feel slightly better. She stared at Carson Flores: ”Brother, what do you want to tell me?”

”Let’s sit down and talk.”

Carson Flores touched his nose with a slightly embarrassed expression.

He had intended to quietly communicate with Samantha Tate alone, but who knew Camille Rhodes would be involved.

Camille Rhodes knew the truth; now letting her walk away alone wouldn’t be quite appropriate...

The three of them sat down, and Carson Flores decided to cut to the chase.

”Yueyue, I’ve been hiding something from you. The person I married, you know her too...”

Samantha Tate’s eyes widened.

”I know her?”

Carson Flores nodded: ”Yes.”

Samantha Tate, a clever woman, instantly had countless images flash through her mind. She looked at Carson Flores in shock: ”Shirley Miller... my sister?”

Carson Flores nodded: ”Right, actually, the first time I encountered the two of you at the company, I wanted to breach this subject, but both of you separately insisted I shouldn’t tell the other about our respective relationships with me...”

Camille Rhodes, listening on the side, widened her eyes, full of Bagua curiosity.

They all had met up together?

And yet no one spilled the beans?

What was this marvelous story?

How could Samantha Tate fall in love with Carson Flores without knowing about his marriage to her sister?

Samantha Tate’s pretty face turned pale, as numerous images from her memory reappeared, clearing all doubts in an instant.

No wonder every time the topic came up, Carson Flores had that subtly complex look; no wonder he always refused her, not crossing that final line; no wonder he insisted on waiting three months for the divorce so she could wait for him...

In Samantha’s heart, there was no anger or humiliation from being deceived; what filled her was the sudden epiphany and the awkwardness of fate’s arrangement.

She had actually fallen in love with her brother-in-law?
