The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 324: Chapter 324: I Am Almost a Master of Being a Human Shield_1

Choosing Tucker Tyler was partly because Carson Flores really didn’t have many reliable people by his side, and partly because Carson found Tucker Tyler to be quite an interesting person.

He was like a weed, possessing a vigorous life force.

Tucker Tyler was very capable; using him to handle these issues was highly appropriate. Plus, he was smart, knowing what he could do and what he couldn’t.

With such a person, as long as you give enough benefits, he can surprise you with how well he handles things.

After the redistribution of the Miller Family’s assets, if Shirley Miller was the one to step forward, it was hard to guarantee that there wouldn’t be awkward incidents. After all, Shirley was a Miller Family member who had now led others to annihilate the Miller Family. Therefore, adding a middleman to handle many of these matters was essential.

Carson wasn’t concerned about the distribution; he took money lightly, as long as he had enough.

After destroying the Miller Family, Carson went on as if nothing happened, continuing with his job the next day.

He had the Martinez Family, Firzgerald Family, and Johnston Family look into Oscar Miller’s whereabouts. This guy hated him to the bone and would definitely seek revenge if given a chance. Carson wasn’t scared for himself, but Shirley and Samantha were ordinary people, so it was better to root him out and eliminate him.

When it was almost time to get off work, Carson lifted his head and saw that charming, alluring face again.

Camille Rhodes was leaning on the window, looking at Carson with complex eyes, staring intently as if his face had grown flowers.

”Am I that handsome, watching me without even blinking...”

Camille’s tone was wistful as she said, ”No wonder I couldn’t keep you around the night before last, you had to go fight yesterday evening.”

Carson laughed, ”You knew?”

Camille hummed, ”The Miller Family disappeared overnight. How could such a big event be kept secret? Everyone in Seashore is talking about this now, but you, the instigator, can still keep a calm mood and work as a security guard?”

Carson laughed, ”I’m just in charge of the fighting, I don’t understand the rest, so I don’t worry about it. What’s wrong with being a security guard? If I’m working here, I have to follow the rules.”

Camille had her hands on the window ledge: ”I heard you’ve advanced to a Great Grandmaster?”

Carson nodded, ”Mhm.”

Camille sighed, ”My brother is going to regret it to death.”

Carson laughed, ”Not necessarily. The Rhodes Family had no ties and not getting involved was a normal choice.”

Camille’s gaze was profound, ”The Martinez Family, Firzgerald Family, and Johnston Family have formed an alliance with you and fought alongside you. In the future, for any matter, you will take action for them, won’t you?”

Carson laughed, ”Seashore’s eight great families only have the Acevedo Family with a Great Grandmaster, right? Let me just neutralize Nash Acevedo, and then everyone will be on the same level.”

Camille’s eyes widened, ”You’re joking, right?”

Carson shook his head, ”I’m serious.”

Camille asked in surprise, ”Aren’t you a newly advanced Great Grandmaster? Nash has been a Great Grandmaster for a long time...”

Carson spoke leisurely, ”Cultivation is all about talent, not about who is older. Besides, even if we’re both Great Grandmasters, it doesn’t mean our combat powers are identical.”

Camille widened her eyes, ”Why do you want to go after Nash Acevedo? Because he helped the Miller Family?”

Carson shook his head, ”The bigger reason is he harbored a killing intent towards me, wanting to destroy me. Since he couldn’t do it, naturally, I should reciprocate the kindness and give him a big gift.”

Camille’s eyes were filled with anticipation, ”When do you plan to trouble him? Can you take me with you? Missing such an exciting battle would be a real pity.”

Carson laughed, ”Not so fast. I’ve just advanced to a Great Grandmaster; I need to adapt and stabilize my realm first.”

Camille asked, ”Are you free tonight?”

Carson laughed, ”As a security guard, after work, of course, I’m free.”

Camille chuckled, ”A Great Grandmaster working as a security guard so earnestly, this really opens my eyes. But now that the Miller Family is no more, and you’ve become a Great Grandmaster, you won’t need to go to remote places anymore, right?”

Carson blinked, ”No worries, I think the remote wilderness that we came out of last time from the racetrack was quite good.”

Camille’s eyes were like water, ”Today you will accompany me for dinner, and after dinner, I will accompany you to the wilderness.”

Carson asked warily, ”Dinner? With whom?”

Camille blinked her eyes, ”A friend.”

Carson curled his lip, ”A guy?”

Camille coaxed, ”I just don’t want the other person to get ideas, you’re my man, aren’t you? What’s wrong with using you as a shield?”

Carson laughed, ”I’m practically becoming a master at being a shield!”

Camille laughed, ”It’s because you’re capable. Otherwise, I wouldn’t dare trouble you.”

Carson asked casually, ”Is he your suitor, or someone your family has arranged for you to meet?”

Camille explained, ”He’s a business associate from home, not from Seashore but from Xijing. He hasn’t explicitly pursued me, but I feel he has that intent, so I thought I’d take precautions to avoid an awkward situation later on...”
