The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 316: Chapter 316: If You Won’t Give Me Justice, I’ll Take It Myself!_1

Carson Flores became a Great Grandmaster?

Derek Eaton’s words were like a shot of adrenaline injected straight into everyone’s hearts.

Nash Acevedo, as a Great Grandmaster, was like a towering mountain that had always loomed over the heads of the members of the other families. They had always hoped someone from their own family would become a Great Grandmaster to counter Nash Acevedo but, unfortunately, none had.

If Carson Flores had become a Great Grandmaster, wouldn’t that mean the current alliance could be taken a step further?

Although Carson Flores didn’t belong to any of the families, if there were close ties, wouldn’t that be equivalent to having a Great Grandmaster ally?

Through this event, the Martinez Family, Johnston Family, and Fitzgerald Family could collaborate on all sides with Carson Flores, since they had no significant conflicts of interest. Couldn’t they form an alliance to oppose the pressing Acevedo Family?

Castiel Martinez, Shiloh Fitzgerald, and Taylor Johnston exchanged glances, understanding the messages in each other’s eyes.

Do it!

Since they had already offended the Miller Family, if they couldn’t eliminate the Miller Family today, they would suffer the Acevedo Family’s oppression later on, not to mention dealing with another Miller Family!

More importantly, they had backed down earlier in the face of Nash Acevedo, letting Carson Flores face Nash Acevedo alone. Did Carson Flores hold a grudge against them for that?

Now that Carson Flores had become a Great Grandmaster, what would he do?

Castiel Martinez clasped his hands towards Derek Eaton and said, ”Senior Eaton, is what you said true? If Mr. Acevedo makes a move, will you stop him?”

Derek Eaton chuckled, ”My word is as solid as gold. I do as I say.”

Castiel Martinez nodded and then clasped his hands towards Nash Acevedo, ”Senior Acevedo, this matter is a grudge between us and the Miller Family and has nothing to do with the Acevedo Family. Please remain neutral.”

Nash Acevedo’s face grew dark, yet he remained silent.

He knew that he could no longer suppress these three families.

They were unwilling to miss the opportunity to annihilate the Miller Family and ally with Carson Flores, a future Great Grandmaster. Despite some risks, they were willing to take this bet.

What’s more, if the Miller Family was gone, could the Acevedo Family really start a war with them over this?

With people around, you can talk about favors. If there’s no one left, what favors are there to talk about?

Knox Miller’s complexion changed.

He shouted to Derek Eaton, ”Senior Eaton, whom do you owe a favor to, that you need to exact it by destroying the Miller Family? Can we still talk this through? The Miller Family is willing to pay the price, as long as you name it!”

Derek Eaton laughed, ”You can eat anything, but you can’t speak recklessly. I wasn’t forcing the Miller Family into extinction. I’m just repaying a favor by saving this young man. If you want me to stop, you can discuss it with her yourself.”

Knox Miller looked hopefully and asked, ”Who is she? Is she here?”

Once the Martinez Family, Johnston Family, and Fitzgerald Family took action, the Miller Family would surely be obliterated. Now, convincing Derek Eaton to stop was the most crucial thing. For that, he was willing to pay any price!

No matter the cost, it was worth it compared to the annihilation of the Miller Family!

”I have nothing to discuss with you.”

Shirley Miller emerged from the darkness, her face cold, her eyes filled with deep hatred as she stared at Knox Miller.

”Shirley Miller!”

Knox Miller’s eyes widened, and he then said angrily, ”You are also a member of the Miller Family, yet you collude with outsiders to obliterate the Miller Family?”

Shirley Miller sneered, ”Am I a Miller? Ha, tell me, has anyone ever treated me like one? If my parents hadn’t been killed by your schemes, could you have become the Family Head of the Miller Family? You killed my parents and still tried to eliminate me. In order to save me, my grandfather gave up everything, taking me far away to Polgel. Even so, you still wouldn’t let me go!”

Shirley Miller glared at Oscar Miller, ”Oscar Miller, tell me, how many people have you sent after me? Brian James, the Woolery Family, the Browning Family, even you tried personally. Not only did you want to seize the only property my father left for me, but you also sought to destroy me completely. Dare you admit to everyone your vile plans? To drug me, take me to a hotel, film me, and publicly expose me? If you had no blood relation to me and weren’t afraid of being called spineless, you probably would have done it yourself, wouldn’t you?”

Oscar Miller’s face turned red, and he was so overpowered by Shirley Miller’s presence that he was momentarily unable to respond.

Seeing this, everyone understood that what Shirley Miller said was true. Their looks towards the Millers – father and son – were filled with contempt. Even many of the Miller Family and their guests showed veiled disdain.

This was truly an extermination.

Peter Miller said solemnly, ”Shirley, even if you have grievances against them, there are so many innocents in the Miller Family unrelated to this affair. How many innocent people have you harmed by doing this?”

Shirley Miller scoffed, ”Innocent? Please, stop your pretense of innocence. Under an avalanche, no snowflake is innocent! If you hadn’t indulged them, none of this would have happened. Beckham Miller took advantage of the situation to cripple two uncles who supported my father, betraying them for life. Has he been punished? Knox Miller killed my parents; has he been punished?”

Shirley Miller’s gaze met Peter Miller’s, ”Since you refuse to deliver justice, I’ll seek it myself!”
