The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 336: Chapter 336 Who is fooling who?_1

Edgar Harrison slid into his car and looked back at the villa with a feeling of being trapped in a nightmare he couldn’t wake from.

Why was he so unlucky?

Wasn’t the old Acevedo family’s grandmaster the only one in Seashore? Where did this one come from out of the blue, and why did he have to bump into him?

What now?

Struck by the Three Yin Soul Severing Hand, he could not escape unless someone cured him. It was said that those who suffered from the Three Yin Soul Severing Hand endure a fate worse than death.

Edgar Harrison hesitated for a moment, feeling the situation was too grave to handle alone, and directly called Family Head Ibrahim Harrison.

Edgar Harrison recounted the whole ordeal truthfully, finally asking, ”What should I do now?”

Ibrahim Harrison was stunned by Edgar’s words.

This guy doesn’t cause trouble often, but when he does, it’s a major disaster.

A great grandmaster under thirty years old?

Where did this monster come from?

”Apologize and make amends, it’s not possible to smooth this over, right?”

Edgar Harrison replied with a wry smile, ”I knelt down to him, and he still wouldn’t let up, saying he was only giving me a chance to live. Whether I can survive depends on if I can kill Santino Vasquez... What do you think about asking the Vasquez family to step in?”

After thinking it over, Ibrahim Harrison responded negatively, ”It’s a plan, but I doubt it will work. Santino Vasquez is out to harm Carson Flores and his wife, and Carson probably won’t show any consideration, and it will turn his anger toward you.”

Edgar Harrison realized this was true. The Vasquez family was powerful, but as a great grandmaster, one naturally had their pride and wouldn’t let a murder charge slide simply because someone else said so.

”So the only option is to kill Santino Vasquez?”

Ibrahim Harrison thought for a moment, ”First, go capture Santino Vasquez, and I’ll find someone to see if they can release the Three Yin Soul Severing Hand on you.”

”Alright!”

Having no other choice, Edgar Harrison hung up, then redialed Santino Vasquez’s number.

”Young Master Vasquez, it’s done! That guy is really powerful, turned out to be a grandmaster...”

In the coffee shop, Santino Vasquez’s face lit up with joy, ”Captured him?”

”Caught him. Where should I bring him to you?”

Santino Vasquez gave an address that had long been prepared, ”Just bring him here.”

Edgar Harrison said with a laugh, ”Alright, who’s receiving? You, Young Master Vasquez, or one of your men?”

Santino Vasquez replied, ”I’m here.”

Edgar Harrison said cheerfully, ”Alright, I’ll be there shortly.”

Santino Vasquez hung up, picked up his car keys, and left the coffee shop. He quickly drove to the designated spot.

Santino Vasquez arrived soon enough but didn’t go straight there. Instead, he parked his car in the dark shadows at the curb, turned off the engine and the interior lights, sitting quietly in the dark, waiting.

If it hadn’t been for Edgar Harrison’s earlier warning call, Santino Vasquez would have gone directly into the house to wait, but now he harbored suspicions.

Was it really handled?

Or was he being tricked?

If he hadn’t managed it, then he might have fallen into Carson Flores’s hands. He had said he’d confess to save his own life, so it’s always better to be cautious!

Before long, a black SUV appeared in the night, swiftly passing by Santino Vasquez’s car, and then moved forward to stop at the entrance of a secluded small courtyard.

The car door opened, and Edgar Harrison got out of the driver’s seat, phone in hand, and dialed Santino Vasquez’s number.

Santino Vasquez’s pupils constricted. Edgar Harrison was the boss of the Two Rivers Hall, why would he be personally driving?

If he was driving himself, that meant there were no other underlings in the car, and possibly not Carson Flores and Shirley Miller either!

This guy was deceiving him!

Santino Vasquez answered the phone and whispered, ”Brother Edgar, have you arrived?”

Edgar Harrison responded, ”I’m here, where are you?”

”Inside the house, just bring the people in.”

Santino Vasquez immediately hung up and kept a close watch on the distance.

Edgar Harrison looked around and dashed to the gate of the courtyard, pushed open the unlocked door, and charged into the yard.

Seeing this, Santino Vasquez felt a chill in his heart.

He was indeed sold out!

Santino Vasquez silently turned off his phone, reclined his seat flat, and lied down on it, ensuring that even if someone’s car lights swept past the window, they wouldn’t be able to see anyone inside the car.

Edgar Harrison quickly ran out of the house, stood at the entrance, and looked around indignantly. He dialed Santino Vasquez’s number again, only to find that Santino Vasquez’s phone was now off.

Edgar Harrison naturally understood he’d been duped by Santino Vasquez, who must be nearby, but finding him was clearly impossible.

Edgar Harrison called Ibrahim Harrison, ”Santino Vasquez is wary, he set up an empty trap for me, catching him is no longer an option!”

Ibrahim Harrison replied, ”Then you should hurry back. I’ve called over a medical expert. He says he might try and see if he can release the Three Yin Soul Severing Hand on you.”

A glimmer of hope rose in Edgar’s heart; as long as the Three Yin Soul Severing Hand was released, he could turn tail and run.

Just like Carson Flores said, he surely wouldn’t go after the whole Harrison family just because Edgar had crossed him, causing those uninvolved and innocent to suffer in his stead.

”Great, who is the medical expert?”

Ibrahim Harrison answered, ”It’s Aziel Burgess from White Willow Gate...”
