The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 346: Chapter 346: Just You? Haha...

Jensen Meadows’s face was an iron blue, and Carson Flores’s words felt like a slap that smacked fiercely onto his face.

If Carson Flores spread this incident around, the Divine Cloudy Sect might very well become the laughingstock of the world.

Even though the status of the Divine Cloudy Sect wouldn’t be significantly affected, there was no guarantee that it wouldn’t become an object of ridicule and attack from other sects.

The Divine Cloudy Sect’s young sect master wants to get a wife, but can only do so by drugging her, by resorting to brute force. How lacking in face is your Divine Cloudy Sect? How incompetent is this young sect master, and how unattractive must he be?

Jensen Meadows stared coldly at Carson Flores, ”Carson Flores, are you provoking my Divine Cloudy Sect?”

Carson Flores’s expression was cold, ”Spare me the pageantry of wagging your sect’s power in my face, Jensen Meadows. I’m telling you, Camille Rhodes is my woman. Keep away from her in the future. Today, I’ll let it pass because you acted in ignorance. Otherwise, with what you’ve done today, you would already be at the bottom of the sea, feeding the sharks!”

Killing intent flared in Jensen Meadows’s eyes. As the young sect master of the Divine Cloudy Sect, a sovereign entity, he was always upheld by others. When had anyone dared to be so disrespectful to him, to his face, and threaten to bury him at the bottom of the ocean to feed the sharks?

”You’re seeking death!”

Jensen Meadows roared angrily and suddenly charged toward Carson Flores.

Jensen Meadows could be the young sect master not merely because of his family background, but also due to his astonishing talent. In his thirties, he already had master strength, with incredible fighting abilities, and perhaps within ten years, he would surely be a great grandmaster.

Jensen Meadows had heard from Lennox Acedvedo that Carson Flores seemed to possess the power of a grandmaster making a breakthrough on that day, capable of withstanding several attacks from Nash Acedvedo without dying, and eventually saved by Derek Eaton.

But Jensen Meadows didn’t believe it.

Not even thirty years old and claiming to be a grandmaster making a breakthrough?

Keep dreaming!

Let me see just how much you weigh!

Carson Flores didn’t even bother pushing away Camille Rhodes, who was clinging to his arm. He simply threw a punch that seemed light and casual, and then Jensen Meadows, who had charged in fiercely, was sent flying back even more violently, crashing onto the lounge chair on the deck with a loud bang, his body skidding far across the broken pieces of the chair.

Carson Flores scoffed, ”Fighting me? This isn’t the Divine Cloudy Sect, and no one here is going to coddle you!”

Jensen Meadows got up from the ground, looking at Carson Flores in shock, ”Did you really advance to a great grandmaster?”

Carson Flores said indifferently, ”I have no grievances with the Divine Cloudy Sect. I don’t provoke others if they don’t provoke me. But if you think the Divine Cloudy Sect can suppress me, then feel free to try.”

Jensen Meadows’s face flushed red, ”Even if you are a great grandmaster, on what grounds do you stand against my Divine Cloudy Sect?”

Carson Flores said coldly, ”Unconvinced? Why don’t you call for help, see if your Divine Cloudy Sect has an innate grandmaster who lives in seclusion to fight me? I might not be able to handle an old person over a hundred years old, but dealing with someone like you, who knows nothing but to flaunt your sect’s name and throw your weight around, is certainly no problem.”

Jensen Meadows himself had master strength. Wasn’t he always praised as young and promising with limitless potential?

But now, in Carson Flores’s mouth, he was just a wastrel who only knew how to brandish the power of his sect. This infuriated Jensen Meadows, yet he found himself unable to refute it, because Carson Flores was even younger than him...

He had been beaten by a man younger than himself, and so when that man so berated him, he truly had no face to talk back.

Jensen Meadows said coldly, ”Don’t assume my Divine Cloudy Sect has no one capable. You, now a great grandmaster, let us fight openly. Do you dare to accept the challenge?”

Carson Flores smiled, ”A challenge? Who, you?”

Jensen Meadows said solemnly, ”This time, the Divine Cloudy Sect’s visit to Seashore isn’t just me. There’s also Elder Zayne Shepherd. Today, you’ve insulted my Divine Cloudy Sect, and in my capacity as the young sect master, I issue a challenge to you. Do you dare to accept the duel?”

Carson Flores sneered, ”You issue a challenge and the elder fights?”

Jensen Meadows nodded, ”Yes!”

Carson Flores laughed loudly, ”If it’s not you who’s fighting, what right do you have to issue a challenge? If that Elder Shepherd wants to take me on, then let him come and challenge me formally. The proper procedures still need to be followed. As for you, heh...”

Jensen Meadows’s face turned even redder as Carson Flores’s contemptuous words once again plunged like a knife straight into his heart, twisting cruelly.

In the cultivation world’s dueling etiquette, if one wishes to have a fair fight without holding grudges, a challenge is issued by one side and accepted by the other, thereby establishing the agreement.

Under such a contract, both parties engage in a fair fight to determine superiority, or life and death, all based on individual skill, and no one is allowed to seek revenge using this as a pretext.

There are unspoken rules to issuing challenges. In simple terms, the challenged party is often more powerful, either in strength or reputation, and being challenged in itself signifies recognition.

Who challenges and who fights is a matter of status recognition.

If Jensen Meadows were to be the one fighting, no matter his strength, it would be appropriate for him to issue the challenge. But since he’s not fighting, naturally he has no right, and Carson Flores need not afford him any respect.

Carson Flores was now a great grandmaster, and he certainly had the status to set this tone!

Wanna challenge me?

Have your elders come.

As for you, you’d better just bow your head and take your beating. Because you don’t even have the qualification to fight me...
