The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 337: Chapter 337: Double Despair Strike_1

Edgar Harrison drove back to the Harrison Family villa like lightning and just happened to see a black sedan parked in the yard as Aziel Burgess, carrying a rosewood medical box, got out of the car.

Ibrahim Harrison personally welcomed him at the door, eagerly ushering Aziel Burgess into the living room.

Edgar Harrison quickly parked the car and rushed into the villa full of anticipation.

It had been a long time since he felt such urgency.

If this Aziel Burgess could cure the defect in his Triple Yin Extinguishing Palm, he would leave overnight, not giving Carson Flores another chance to trouble him. As for his family, he could just pretend to be oblivious; after all, the operations of Er He Tang were independent, determined solely by his word and indeed separate from the family.

Once inside, a brief introduction was made, and Aziel Burgess began examining Edgar Harrison.

”Do you still remember where he hit you?”

Edgar Harrison nodded, ”I remember.”

As a Grandmaster, Edgar Harrison naturally had the memory for it and pointed out all the spots to Aziel Burgess without delay.

Aziel Burgess sent his Inner Qi probing like a pulse and after a thorough examination, his expression changed slightly.

”The person who injured you is very strong; I might not be able to break through...”

Edgar Harrison’s face turned grim, ”He is indeed formidable. So there’s really no hope?”

Aziel Burgess frowned, ”Tell me who it was? I’ll see if I know him.”

Edgar Harrison hesitated, then answered, ”It’s a young man named Carson Flores; I don’t know much about his background, he looked to be in his late twenties, with very strong abilities...”

Aziel Burgess suddenly looked up, his gaze filled with surprise as he stared at Edgar Harrison, ”Carson Flores?”

Ibrahim Harrison, noticing Aziel Burgess’s expression, asked in surprise, ”Mr. Burgess, do you know this Carson Flores?”

Aziel Burgess let out a wry smile and clasped his hands towards Ibrahim Harrison, ”Mr. Harrison, I’m sorry, but I’m unable to treat this condition.”

Watching Aziel Burgess turn around to pick up his medical box and leave, Ibrahim Harrison became anxious, grabbing Aziel Burgess’s arm, ”Dr. Burgess, you have to at least explain to us what the reason is?”

Aziel Burgess looked hesitant, but finally sighed and said, ”There are two reasons. First, the Gang Qi he used for the Triple Yin Extinguishing Palm is too pure, and I’m not sure I can completely disperse it. Second, I had a bet with Carson Flores over an incident, and the loser had to call the winner master. I lost...”

Edgar Harrison was stunned, ”So you’re saying that Carson Flores is your master?”

Aziel Burgess gave a bitter smile, ”He used the Resuscitation Technique, ranked second among the world’s extraordinary acupuncture techniques. I did want to learn from him, but he wasn’t willing. It was just a bet, not an actual master-disciple relationship, but regardless, since he was the one who attacked you, I’m powerless and can’t help you...”

Ibrahim Harrison and Edgar Harrison exchanged looks, both seeing the shock in the other’s eyes.

Who on earth is this guy?

With such strong abilities, and even his medical skills are so formidable?

Even Aziel Burgess from the Bai Liu Men is no match for his medical skills, and even lost a bet, having to call him master and conceding defeat?

Ibrahim Harrison knew that seeking medical help was now in vain, so he could only inquire, ”It’s alright if you don’t treat the injury, but could you tell us about his background?”

Aziel Burgess replied, ”He is the disciple of Andrew, but from what I see, his medical skills have already surpassed those of his master. As for how strong he really is, I wouldn’t know.”

Andrew?

Carson Flores is actually that madman’s disciple?

A chill settled in Edgar Harrison’s heart, this really was a complete and utter disaster.

Aziel Burgess did not linger and immediately turned to leave. He had spoken the truth; firstly, he was unable to save, and more importantly, he felt that he could not save.

If he had reached the level of a Grandmaster, then he would definitely be confident in treating the injury, but unfortunately, he was only at the level of Inner Qi.

Looking at Ibrahim Harrison in despair, Edgar Harrison asked, ”What do I do? Go back and face death?”

Ibrahim Harrison pondered and then, with gritted teeth, suggested, ”I’ll call the Acevedo Family, ask the old Mr. Acevedo to mediate. If he is willing to show the old man some face, we can lower our stance a bit, make some compensation, and there should be no problem. After all, you actually went to seek Santino Vasquez, it’s just that you were detected...”

A sliver of hope appeared in Edgar Harrison’s heart again, ”Alright!”

Ibrahim Harrison picked up the phone and dialed Jayson Acevedo, the Family Head of the Acevedo Family.

”Jayson, it’s me, Ibrahim...”

Jayson Acevedo laughed, ”Mr. Harrison, it’s been a while. What brings you to call me?”

Ibrahim Harrison was quite humble, ”Edgar Harrison tried to help someone and ended up causing some trouble. We’d like to ask the Acevedo Family to mediate a bit. We’re willing to make amends...”

Jayson Acevedo, surprised, asked, ”Whom have you offended that even with your willingness to make amends, you still can’t settle the matter?”

Ibrahim Harrison replied with a bitter smile, ”It’s a young outsider named Carson Flores. Edgar Harrison didn’t know before that he was a Great Grandmaster, then he agreed to help someone else. They sent people to kidnap his wife and him...”

”Carson Flores?”

Jayson Acevedo’s voice suddenly turned colder, ”Mr. Harrison, our Acevedo Family may not be able to assist you with this.”

Ibrahim Harrison quickly said, ”Jayson, the Acevedo Family is the only one in Seashore with a Great Grandmaster, only your family can speak with him on an equal footing. Just help us mediate, and if he’s willing to settle peacefully with us, we’re willing to compensate...”

Jayson Acevedo replied in a chilly tone, ”Mr. Harrison, we truly are powerless in this matter because our Acevedo Family had a conflict with him earlier, and now he harbors resentment towards us.”
